Very good. Excellent choice on the menu, friendly staff and efficient service. The pre theatre menu offers good value. We will be back soon. Thanks!
Great restaurant. French food at its best. A must if in Nottingham city centre. Great atmosphere. Access not easy for people with mobility issues.
Food was excellent but not a great choice to pick from without extra cost being incurred, service was friendly and quick. Would come back but probably not my first choice
I have been here on several occasions with various friends/work colleagues over a span of maybe 15 years, the food and service never dissapointed,my number one restaurant for a lunch get together!
Food is always great in this place, also nice environment and background music. Less than 50 pound for 2 courses with drinks Makes it a great date place
Delightful ambiance, competent and friendly stall, good food and wine made for a very pleasant dining experience. We would eat here again before going to a concert.
Attentive staff good food and atmosphere. Very good value for money. House wine is is a good standard. Always busy so good to pre book.
Good dining experience, pleasant staff and food of very good quality and taste, restaurant ambience was clean and welcoming . In all a good all round experience.
Great food, great service and great atmosphere. This is our favourite restaurant for when we want a special meal and not pub grub. We held our wedding reception here 19 years ago and it has been consistently good ever since.
Great venue and value. Staff and food quality excellent. Set menu had good choices, Rhubarb Gin to die for! I highly would recommend for all occasions. TB
Good atmosphere with restaurant full on arrival. Good efficient & friendly service . Chosen dish off the menu could have been plated a little hotter.
Food wonderful, and staff were helpful and friendly. Only managed to eat two courses a starter and main no room to eat a pudding but finished with wonderful coffee. We will return again
The well crafted and tasty food, the nice atmosphere, the helpful staff, makes for an excellent evening out dining out. Would certainly recommend to friends and family. Our third visit, and will certainly go again.
A relaxed evening with good & friendly service and excellent food. We were dining before going to the Theatre, and timing was perfect - on leaving, waiter said "Enjoy the show!"
Great meal - flavour, quantity and presentation. My panacotta dessert was scrumptious. Have been coming here for 20 years and always consistent which says something in this day and age!
Fabulous food, and price for lunch menu, did feel a bit rushed between courses but staff very good. We decided not to try the deserts but they looked great.
This place has recently had a makeover and unfortunately has lost the magic that made it special for almost two decades. The two elderly gentleman who ran it are now no longer about and the food and atmosphere no longer sparkle. It was the quietest I have ever seen it, with very few tables occupied at lunchtime. Service was efficient and pleasant but it took a long time for the food to arrive at the table. The meal itself was adequate but lacklustre. My steak was over cooked, the salad over dressed and the plate cold. I was very sad as I have loved coming here for almost twenty years.
The food was delicious; the staff were very friendly and attentive and our food was excellent value for money. I will definitely return to Petit Paris!
Unfortunately I was unable to attend the meal last night due to the Flu. However my two friends did make it and enjoyed the meal.
The Pre theatre meal was lovely, very filling with good choices and great value for money. Speedy service in spite of it being very busy.
Delicious food, excellent friendly & prompt service in lovely surroundings. One of my favourite places to eat in Nottingham and I would highly recommend a visit.
lovely food and improvement on previous owners both in the food & decor but the service was a little slow after the first course. Would definitely re-visit though.
Another fantastic evening with superb food, service and friendly staff!! The wine waiter even remembered me from 4 days previously!! Don't know what that says about me!!
I have just had a delightful lunch with a friend. Everything from the service to the food was excellent. Keep up the good work. Already planning my next meal with you. I would rate this restaurant a 6.
We are regular visitors here. Great food and service. Pre-theatre menu offers good value and is convenient for the RCH. However, on this occasion the table was too near the kitchen, creating the feeling of being in a corridor.
Great lunch time meal, great value, choice of 1,2 or 3 course. Specials included but there may be an extra payment depending on what you have.
Food and value was excellent as always. Only little gripe sat near kitchen and there was a draft and heavy kitchen smells. Been going for 30 years so definitely doing something right
Amazing food, very friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Went there for the first time and will be definitely visiting again in the future. Highly recommended restaurant.
The best restaurant in Nottingham. Always excellent service. Even though the restaurant was full we were served with efficiency. Can not fault the staff at all.
What a lovely find! Wonderful atmosphere and great food. Went on a Friday evening for a pre-theatre meal and enjoyed some live jazz. Will definitely be going again!
Very busy Saturday night but staff were friendly and helpful. Interesting menu and not overly expensive for town prices. I enjoyed my duck meal but my companions had the rump steak - which was very tough otherwise it would have been a higher rating.
We Had a lovely time here. Delicious food, excellent value, wonderful atmosphere and very attentive staff, would highly recommend and will be returning again soon!
Beautiful food, with lovely company . Pre-theatre menu has minute steak on it, at no extra cost. Very worth while, with varied choice of dishes.
The service was outstanding. Staff were very polite and attentive. The food was excellent and the sea bass was cooked to perfection. We will defiantly be returning and will be inviting friends and family along too.
Love coming to this restaurant. Another superb meal we had last night. Staff are so friendly and efficient. Thank you all for a lovely evening
Food was very good. Steak as ordered, no surprises. Service sufficient. Friendly staff. A bit noisy although a kind of expected for Saturday evening. Natural atmosphere
Lovely meal. Good service. Great value for money. Very busy restaurant but the service was top notch. We all had the 2 courses and enjoyed every mouthful. Will be buying vouchers for Christmas presents!
Food was really good but very expensive, vegetables had to be purchased at an extra cost. The waiter told us about a Gin offer at £3.25 which we decided to go for, he failed to tell us about the £1.95 charge for the mixer which was a bit naughty!
Great food, attentive staff and a lively atmosphere. No wonder they always seem to be busy! Don't miss the opportunity to sample their fare, always book ahead.
Everything we ordered was fresh & tasty. Service efficient & polite. We regularly dine here from their pre- theatre menu and it’s consistently good .
Food was lovely and staff where very attentive! Chocolate brownie was probably the best I’ve had! We came for a pre theatre meal and ordered from the set menu. 2 meals for 12.95. Just be wary of extra charges for steaks and other meat items! Could maybe offer more vegetarian options on the menu.
Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, excellent service. I have dined in this restaurant at least four times and have never been disappointed. I would definitely recommend
Delightful staff greeted us for our pre theatre meal and the calves liver that we had was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a very accepted house red wine. Will continue to dine here. James & Linda
This is normally our go to restaurant before a theatre visit as the food is delicious, the service efficient and you know you will be out in good time for the show. Not so last night. The food was excellent apart from the lady on the next table trying to explain to the waiter that her daughter’s lasagne was supposed to have pasta in it and not just a bowl of sauce but he didn’t seem to understand. My husband asked for some vinegar for his fries but none arrived so had to be asked for again. 6.40, plenty of time to have dessert but 10 minutes went by and no sign of menu so decided just to have coffee instead. When we eventually ordered we asked for the bill to save a little time. 7pm the coffee arrived but no bill so we drank up and decided to pay at the till on the way out. Still no bill ready and we had to queue with several other people who were also waiting to pay. When it eventually was our turn I mentioned that the service that night wasn’t up to their usual standard and was informed they were a bit short staffed. However this wasn’t the impression I got so sadly it might take some time before we return.
Good food and wine but the “back room” is very dismal and unappealing The service was clearly under pressure The bill was incorrect and had to be redone
Exellent service, great atmosphere and the food is beautifully cooked and presented. We received a lovely welcome on arrival and the waiting staff were really friendly and helpful with the menu. as always a pleasure to dine there.
Food was fantastic and good value for money. A little too noisy for an intimate meal for two but great for groups, I certainly recommend
The meal was excellent. The service was very good at the start. We had booked it as a pre-theatre meal with the table booked for 5.45 as the show started at 7.30. We had finished the desert by 7.10 and ordered coffee, 15 minutes later the coffee had not arrived and we had to pay the bill and run to the theatre, getting there just in time. Disappointing end to a lovely meal.
Beautiful meal fish cooked to perfection and the Thai fishcakes were lovely. Good service and reasonable prices. The only downside was that it gets a bit noisy when 2 large parties came in
Don’t look vey French and I am French and I am chef need more little French touch the decor look little bit old staff friendly
