My wife and I really enjoyed our evening at Petit Paris. The food was excellent and a great choice of wine and gin! The steak wrapped in bacon and blue cheese was impeccable! The waiters make you feel very welcome. We sat with the view overlooking King Street and Market Square. The Big Wheel is in Nottingham at the minute so made the view that much more special.

Excellent meal and service. Many many years since we last went to this restaurant but we weren’t disappointed. It was a belated visit to the theatre so a really nice lunch before the performance. We really enjoyed it and will definitely visit again .

Easy to book a table on-line. Table was ready and waiting for us. Service was immediate, but not pushy at all. White wine was served chilled. Our starter orders and mains were taken and delivered at the right interval. excellent service with a smile from all of the waiters. We did linger as there was a party of us, but, we were never made to feel that we were being "shoved out". Lovely experience as always at Petit Paris. :-)

We had a lovely evening. The sommelier was excellent in his suggestion of wine for us. The food was served very quickly, which meant we had to ask for a break after our main. The blade of beef was a little dry without the jus but still very tasty. The pork was well executed. Treacle tart to die for. Service generally good but a bit bitty and Bobby with different staff coming to the table all the time. Still very enjoyable and would go again

I gave Petit Paris a 5 as there was just a mix up whereby our meals ended up on the next table with the other customers having to pass our plates over to us. Otherwise we really enjoyed our meal.

We went at lunch time,it was our first visit. Didn’t feel very welcomed, weren’t sure where to go as no one to greet us, everyone busy. However once we were seated the service was good & the food excellent. I just wish someone had pointed out when we placed our order that we needed to order vegetables separately. Have to say creme brûlée was the best I have ever tasted in my life.

We ate at Petit Paris on Saturday night and all had 2 courses from the Pre Theatre menu. The restaurant was full and the service was a little slower than ususal, but we still left in good time for the start of the show. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was lively.

Pre-theatre dinner on my wife's birthday. Wood pigeon starter, served pink, was declared delicious by my wife. My moules mariniere was fine. We both had fish for main. I chose monkfish, whilst my wife had sea bass. Beautifully presented and very tasty, Washed down with a not too expensive Sauvignon Blanc from Gascogne. The shared desert of bread and butter pudding, served with both crème anglaise and ice cream finished us off nicely. Staff were friendly and efficient. An excellent experience. Highly recommended.

I found this little gem quit recently and was very impressed. The food was excellent with plenty of choice. All the staff were polite and helpful. Only one tiny criticism, one member of staff was chewing gum. There are stairs to climb so might prove difficult for the less able. I will certainly be returning in the near future

Having visited Petit Paris for about 25 years we were disappointed with the quality of the food and service. This used to be one of our favourite restaurants in Nottingham but, we have to say, we will not be in a hurry to return.

The vegetarian choice is very limited. On Friday evening there was a dish labelled as specifically suitable for vegetarians but it contained pecorino cheese which is not acceptable as it contains animal rennet. The only other dish available was the tagliatelle without the bacon.

Food was excellent, with a nice variety of choice on the menu & not overpriced. Service was a little slow (even at the end of the night when the restaurant was almost empty) and at times wondered if they had forgotten about us as we were sitting in a side room. Plates were cleared & we had to ask for dessert menu after waiting about 15 minutes for someone to come back to us.
