Petit Paris

This was a busy restaurant and the tables seemed a little too close together. However the food was good and presented nicely. There seemed to be too many supplements to pay on a set menu (the extra on my main meal was £5.95). There was also a rather long wait between starter and main, as this was a pre theatre dinner time was at a premium. This restaurant is probably much more relaxed later in the evening.

Main course of sea bass paella was fantastic. Bread and butter pudding rather stodgy

Food was really good a bit of a wait at the beginning due to being very busy Over all enjoyed it

We enjoyed our meal very much and the staff were happy, friendly and efficient. My only criticism was that texture of the creme brulee was not really to my taste as it was more like an omelette than a creamy custard and I would not choose it again.

Booked online. Attentive service from very friendly staff. Food was delicious and well presented. Had we not looked online for restaurants close to the theatre, we wouldn’t have known of its existence as it was hidden upstairs with no street level presence. A gem of a find.

Someone needs to learn to make tea in a pot. One tea bag for 3! Sam fire was missed off one of the menus. Too Amy meals have supplements

The food was lovely - we booked a pre-theatre visit but our table was forgotten twice during service & several tables were served & got food before us.

Excellent food, spoiled in part by very poor initial service after being shown to our table. It needed a comment from me before anything happened. A silly lapse in an otherwise enjoyable lunch

I had the haddock special. Very tasty, especially the tartare sauce, but, quite expensive at £12.90 It wasn't brought to my attention that £14.95 would have included it in the two-course option.

Excellent price, food was astounding, was shocked at how low the bill was.

Came for lunch on a Saturday, to celebrate my husband's birthday. We'd never been before, but the restaurant was recommended by several friends. We were not disappointed! The staff were all warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent - and the food was absolutely delicious. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere too. Perfect in every way - we will definitely be back!

Left without being offered a dessert because we ran out of time. Had we been offered a dessert we would have had one.

The service was very slow. We were a party of 4 and 2 of us arrived 15 minutes earlier than the other 2 but were not offered anything to drink, we had to ask to order drink after 15 minutes. We had 3 courses and after each course there was a delay in clearing away plates and bringing the next course or any drinks. We finished a bottle of wine during the main course but were not asked if we'd like another. All courses of food were great, very tasty! The only exception was the cheese beignets starter being cold which we told the waiter about but he commented that was strange and wasn't apologetic. Overall the food was brilliant but let down by poor and slow service.

We went to the pre-theatre meal. The doors opened at 5:15, and by 5:20 the place was full, but the staff were not daunted and the service was fast and yet gracious. Our meals were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. We loved the decor of the room and the high ceiling reduced the noise level to a contented buzz. The background music was quite soft - just enough to remove the temptation to eavesdrop. At the end of all this, the size of the bill came as a very pleasant surprise. I really don't know how they do it.

Visited pre-theatre at 17.30 as a party of six. Great food and the service was good enabling us to not worry about getting to the theatre on time. Soft jazz paying gave a lovely ambience whilst allowing conversation to be heard.
