Great food, excellent service, relaxing ambience. Beyond everything else the food at Patara is genuinely extremely high quality Thai food. I would rate it as some of the best Thai food in London.
Very nice food, everyone was delighted by their choice; the fish was very well cooked, proportions perfect... Good attention to allergies even it was very busy. We will be back.
Delicious food, relaxing venue and good service. A very easy and fun place to go for dinner on a Tuesday night with family and friends.
Superb as always - excellent service and wonderful food. The Thai green curry was the best I've ever tasted. Only slight disappointment was there was no fresh mango for the desserts.
The food was great and so was the service. The ambiance is a bit cold though, it needs more atmosphere to rate higher. Great for a week dinner.
Beautiful food lovely atmosphere and attentive but laid back service. Will be going back! Quite a lot of food (starter & main) for just myself but would recommend going as a group to share a few plates between you and try the best of everything.
Great ambiance. Good service and amazing food. Drinks, appetisers mains course and desert. Good quality and affordable prices. Truly recommend this place. Thanks again. Lio
Fantastic. Look at me! It was beautiful. The gentlemen who served us was such a helpful character. We will be going back again in the new year with my dear friend Panda.
excellent! every time I visit London,I must go to this restaurant.
The original and best Patara. The Patara mini-chain underwent some kind of rebranding and change of menu a few years ago, with some additional restaurants opening, and this resulted in a reduced variety of dishes at Patara Fulham, which is a shame. However, what is there is still excellent, and this is still probably the best Thai restaurant in London.
Excellent dinner, beautiful and tasty food, well presented. Very kind staff. We celebrated a birthday and Patara offered the dessert. Very nice touch! I definitely recommend the place. Thank you very much Patara!
The food was fantastic ! Unfortunately there was a lot of draft due to a damaged door, therefore it was not a fully comfortable seating.
Excellent food and service. Naturally it is not the cheapest if you eat a la carte but it is worth the price for the delicate cooking and exquisite flavour.
Great food. We liked the curries best, and the lemongrass tofu was quite good as well. The pineapple seafood fried rice was not as flavorful as we expected. Not sure why our water bottle was taken away; had to ask for more water at least twice.
A little bit of slow service after it reopened Had to ask if we were getting crackers or did we have to buy them as before we would get on arrival The staff kept opening the door was so quite cold on there and there is no heating system Otherwise food is great and delicious!
Fantastic food and ambient. Perfect place to have a nice dinner and enjoy the atmosphere of a Thai place. It is well located and quiet
Good quality fresh flavours and range of menu. The service was quick and efficient. Would definitely consider returning soon as a lovely tasty Thai meal.
Incredible food. The staff is very service minded and makes sure you are happy with the food, drinks, environment etc. Recommending this to anyone who loves authentic Thai food and good people.
The quality of the food was excellent, my scallops were delicate and my tamarind duck crisp and tasty. The plates were tastefully decorated in Royal Thai style. The service was discreet and quick.
Not nearly as good as usual. Dumplings were average, beef was like very dry pot roast, served with only a minimum of sauce. Soup was good.
The service was very slow and the dishes did not arrive at the same time. Food was below average - I ordered the classic pad Thai which had a very sweet sauce. This was not certainly the "fine" cuisine that I expected.
Amazing lamb and beef currys! been here 4 times now. Would defo go back. Not giving 6 as we kept having to ask for water.
Fantastic and attentive service. Food was absolutely amazing! Pricey but amazing! We explained that we needed to be quick as we were going to the Albert Hall and all our food was on the table in 30 minutes.
Rather on the small and cramped side. The restaurant really isn't that spacious. Food good, but not significantly better than many other places I've been to. Service perfectly adequate, but some of the staff could be friendlier. Not great value for money, but no-one choosing to go to a restaurant on the Fulham Road is looking for a good bargain. Starter menu rather curiously skewed towards fish and seafood. Not a problem, but seems a bit unbalanced. (There are some vegetarian options at the back of the menu).
Great location. Very good service. Variety of menu items. Excellent mixed drinks. Every dish we have had is a great mixture of flavors. Go back every visit from US.
We ordered the set menu and absolutely loved the food and the ambience. The black cod was amazing! Good sized portions and very attentive staff. I definitely recommend it.
Very good food and excellent presentation. Would definitely come back again in the future. Staff service was good but sometimes a bit slow. However had a great lunch.
Dined on a Saturday evening. Food was lovely, great flavours and portion sizes. Recommend the Sea bass and Lamb shank. The staff were very attentive and happy. The got husbands main course wrong, but made it up with 2 free glasses of Prosecco which was a bonus. Will go back again soon.
Had a fantastic experience Food was lovely and the staff were very nice too. They made sure we had a pleasant dining experience at Patara
Great service, great food not to mention the free Mother's Day dessert which added a nice end to the day. Not our first visit and definitely not our last
The service was adequate but bare minimum and the beef in coconut main course tasted like cheese(!). Not the best experience ever considering the price - one expects something a little more special and with more care taken over things.
Great food and great service- I am new to being a vegetarian so often struggle when eating out, I was impressed with all the options! The only negative and my pet hate is tables being too close to one another, we were placed on a table for two near the entrance and I had hardly space to move.. Overall a lovely dinner
Great place, great food, great experience! The place is very comfortable, very kind and helpful staff. The food is absolutely fantastic. I really wish I could come back when I am in London
We spend our first evening in London, after a long journey from Germany, with absolutely great food & lovely service in this top restaurant! Thank you!
Simply amazing! The real Thai food! Food was incredibile, beautiful place and people. I strongly suggest the best thai food in London. We love Patara!
Amazing service and excellent food some of dishes are truly perfect made are special Valantine evening thank you will come back again even this place is expensive but you get what you pay for.
Great service, nice atmosphere, delicious food - but curry was just not warm enough and wine wasn't chilled to the right temperature. I would still recommend it 😊
Lovely place to eat. Quiet little thai in south kensington. They have great tasty food!! I would recommend this place to anyone and will be goin back again!!
The food was good with a great atmosphere. The waitress serving us was very warm and friendly. Only con is it's a small restaurant and can get very noisy when packed
Food was good and service was attentive but overall we found that the dishes were a bot overpriced and we are not planning to visit again.
Waiter did not understand when trying to order pineapple juice then made a face when he eventually knew what we were asking for (it is on the menu!) Ordered fish cakes which were tasteless and the only fitting description is rubber (these were refunded but doesn't take away from the disappointment) Order chicken curry... £16.80 and didn't come with rice! it was extremely watery, the large chicken pieces were hard and whilst only having a spoon and fork eating it became very difficult. Scallops - fine line when cooking scallops but unfortunately these were slightly undercooked. With the refund in place we left £50 lighter still hungry and extremely disappointed.
The restaurant was very pleasant the decorations were new the staff very agréable smiling and attentionné ! Not too crowded and the food was excellent as usual. It is the best restaurant of its kind !
the ambience is really nice along. The food was also proper thai. The service was very fast and excellent. Altogether a good experience and time spent.
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was incredibly attentive. Really enjoyed the evening, would highly recommend and will definitely be going back again.
It was top notch. Happened to be day of Thai king's death, so front of house was more subdued than the artistic plates coming out of the kitchen. Next visit (we will!) They should be up to speed.
I've been going to this restaurant many times over the years and it is always perfect. Very good food, high quality and professional service. Really recommended!
Im sorry to say that the food was below par. And VERY expensive for the portion sizes. Scallops, a delicate food and tricky to get the cooking time right on, were just 3...yes 3, and they were swimming in milky red hot spices. Wine by the glass was way over priced. As for the cost of mineral : Daylight robbery. Last time I went there, on one of the hottest days of the year, the air con wasnt working. I remember when it was an excellent Thai restaurant called S&P. I had one starter shared, two main courses between myself and my daughter and myself, a glass of decent white wine, and one pudding. Oh and a bottle of water. The Bill with service : Just under a £100. I wont be going back.
I took my friends from out of town to Patara, and we had an unbelievably good experience here. Out waiter was friendly and humourous. He recommended some entrees to us and made jokes and made us roar with laughter the entire night. The atmosphere at Patara is warm and unpretentious, and although the food was a tad on the small side, it was delicious. Highly recommended :)
took three first time patrons with me, they all loved it! Service was excellent, and food quality was as well. Glad I made a reservation as it filled up quickly.
My husband,my son and I came to lunch at Patara on Sunday; the food was very good and service excellent; we would recommend this restaurant and we will be back
