Patara - Knightsbridge

Very friendly staff. Nice decor. Excellent food! We went there for an early dinner before a concert. Very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very disappointed since we were last there. Didn't offer the menu online that we wanted, as we were informed that they strangely didn't have the ingredients for it, which was very unusual as all the separate dishes were on the main menu! Guess they just didn't want to give us that set menu, but hey Patara, if you don't want customers to have it, don't offer it, as then there can be no confusion or disappointment! As there restaurant was empty anyway, we headed back to Paddington early and went and had a great curry there instead! Would go back to the one in South Kensington tho, as IMO it was better anyway. Knightsbridge or not, you shouldn't want to have your restaurant empty and not have the opportunity to take a decent amount of money anyway, even if you end up substituting some of the courses.....

Very good. Chose from the special velvet menu good was well spiced food chilli kick and very good service. Thai pims was an interesting extra. Very reasonable price .

Delicious food for a good price. Very friendly staff. The best is Lamb Shank in coconut curry! Would recommend if you are looking for a nce Thai food.

Good food with excellent service. Superb crab cakes and the aroma of the 'spa' scent just filled the room.

Always great food, our table was up and a little warm in that area, otherwise a very nice experience. We will definitely come back again.

Delicious food and very pleasant service. There's a lovely spicy smell when you walk in which stimulates the appetite. The first courses are generouse and can be shared.

The taste of the food was not authentic Thai as the spiciness was missing. The restaurant needs an upgrade as this is one of the top Thai restaurants in London.

I've been to Patara a few times but this was the first time at the Knightbridge Branch. The food at was amazing. All the staff were really attentive.

Managed to book a table last minute for dinner, after Christmas shopping. Very welcoming staff and interesting selection of dishes alongside the usual recognised menu. Food more expensive than other Thai places but overall, the food was tasty and the decor was lovely so definitely worth it!

Really good service, Excellent Thai food. Would recommend the Bass and scallops. Nice intimate atmosphere for small numbers of guests or a party of two. Would highly recommend.

Authentic Thai food with attentive and knowledgable staff. We had the set menu which took the pressure out of choosing from the tempting menu. Delicious!

The restaurant interior is nice but nothing that you would describe as especially amazing but the food is as authentic as it comes. Simply fantastic and so tasty!

Ambience was good. Table was well positioned. Staff were attentive and helpful. Food was good. The only issue was that, given the lack of lighting and the print colours and sizing used made it difficult to read the menu and wine list.

Everything about the restaurant was absolutely fabulous. Location, ambience, service, quality and quantity of food were nothing less than perfect. Had an absolutely great evening.

We couldn't even sit at our table as there was a horrible smell of sewage we asked to be seated elsewhere but was told we couldn't do we left Not a good experience

Great food and friendly staff. They have a good range of Thai cuisine, ranging from green curry chicken (which was fantastic), phad Thai and complimentary crackers to begin!

All of us enjoyed the food , especially the seafood; the beef was perhaps a little lost in the slightly too strong sauce. Service attentive and, great joy, they did not seem to be hurrying us, rare these days and the place was far from empty. A slight delay in the main course was pleasantly and apologetically dealt with.

What a delightful place to have lunch! It's on the rather charming Beauchamp Place, you walk in and it feels like a haven. Soft music, Thai decor, delicious food - I easily passed a couple of hours here and left feeling relaxed. The service was friendly and genuine, although a little slow at times. But our food and drinks arrived in good time. I would recommend the Banana dessert with the cream/ice cream/nuts. Just divine!

Second time at this Thai restaurant because the 1st time was so impressive......there will be a '3rd to the power of n' time of that there is no doubt - this particular Patara is sublime for those who know and love Thai food....,

Great Thai food, great service & a reasonable price. Patara always finds its' way onto our itinerary when we visit London. Thai food this good is hard to find in Thailand.

Wonderful experience，best thai restaurant in London promised. Delicious food paired with high-standard service. The curry is a must-try dish as it is much better than other chain-thai-restaurants. Coconut rice with mango would be another reason for me to visit again. Highly recommended.

The place wasn't that spacious but the food was good and the waiters very present. There is quite a good selection of dished on the menu, and they are generally well presented. Will definitely dine again.

Went for lunch on a Saturday, and only booked a half hour before as a result of a recommendation from a friend. One of the best Thai restaurants I've had the pleasure of eating - I'd go again in a heartbeat!

the green thai curry was very good but the side order of broccoli with shitake mushroom was disappointing as the broccoli was overcooked and there were 3 mushrooms; £9.50 is a lot to pay for that quality and quantity.

Lovely friendly staff, delicious food and a very congenial atmosphere in Patara Knightsbridge- would highly recommend. We enjoyed 3 course Taste iof Patara - very reasonable and food nicely spicy.

The restaurant has had a make over but the layout remains the same. The menu has changed with many favourites no longer there. Not as good as previously

The food was excellent but problems in the kitchen meant that there were no fired options available. We were only told this after we tried to order. This was a faux pas on the part of staff who should have let us know when they gave us the menus.
