Great meal and service. Surprised tip pre-included in bill but as happy with experience willing to pay No children's menu given but when we asked they will do smaller pasta dishes for little ones

Pappa Roma is a great and authentic Italian restaurant. The customer service was fantastic and the food even better. My mum said it was the best melanzane alla parmagiana she’s ever had (& she’s not easily pleased). You know an Italian restaurant is going to be good when there are Italian people eating at it!

Excellent pasta!! Typical italian food. Should come back again. Great option for people who are visiting The Natural History Museum with or without children. Fair prices.

Lovely food and ambiance. Very good for families. The pasta was delicious. The service was a little bit sloppy and a bit expensive. It’s beri close to the tube station which is very convenient.

Exceptional food, service and fun, cannot fault it. Wonderful pizza, pasta and calamari and wine. Treated to a grappa too. Couldn’t fault it. Third Xmas meal there post ice skating anc hope I make it at least 30.

We had a very nice lunch...the pizzas were particularly good. A nice atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and the speed of service was perfect for lunch. Would recommend.

Pappa Roma is a lovely restaurant, they have a great selection of authentic home-prepared Italian food, and you get a very friendly service too, thank you!

The food and the service were both very good. I was surprised at how quiet the restaurant was at lunch time but this suited my friend and I since we were able to have a good chat. However, I think £61 for a simple lunch and wine was a little expensive.

A great find. Local gem within close walking distance of the Royal Albert Hall, tucked away in a quiet side street within 2 minutes walk of South Kensington Underground. Nothing fancy, just good, honest Italian food at great prices with efficient service. Wood fired pizzas have delicious, and surprisingly light crust. My only criticism was on arriving first, I was left without the offer of a drink while waiting for my dining companion. But would definitely return.

Love eating at Pappa Roma when visiting London, meals always good and staff polite and friendly. Definitely recommended if you like Italian food and your in the location.

Lovely meal, excellent service, will go back there again. I had a very nice pizza, a quadtro stragoni, and all of the ingredients were fresh and very tasty. Really nice beer as well!

Cosy and welcoming Italian restaurant. Good service and polite waiters. But nothing very remarkable. Pretty good but only that. It has a potential to have a Italian wow factor.

Pleasant atmosphere, polite staff and nice food!! The restaurant is located just a few steps from the South Kensington tube station with the National History museum to be just around the corner. Highly recommended!!

Visited with family, kids aged 7 and 12. The service was very fast as they saw our kids were so tired. The food was awesome!

Really lovely food, and intimate buzzing atmosphere. We had lovely fresh calamari and the pizzas were very good indeed. Felt like we had found a neighbourhood favourite.

We had Excellent Food - on this occasion, we were not offered dessert which was a little frustrating - but will definitely go back. Highly Recommend.

Friendly service, good choice of Italian dishes including some nice specials. I had a well presented king prawn and courgette starter followed by a hearty rigatoni with aubergine. My friend had scampi followed by whole sea bream served with sweet potato and broccoli - healthy and light. Portions were generous.

Welcome was very chilly and improved only slightly from there. Almost all the wait staff seemed like they could care less if you stayed or not. The food is quite good and the atmosphere is decent. However I'd not return to such an unwelcoming place

Booked this place for surprise birthday meal before a show at the Royal Albert Hall. I mentioned to the staff in advance about the surprise and they were so helpful. The atmosphere was great, as was the food. I would definitely revisit!

Away from the busy streets a cosy restaurant with Excellent home cooked food, friendly atmosphere and great service. Would definitely recommend this restaurant but make sure you book

Friendly service, authentic Italian food, reasonably priced, and the 12.5% discretionary tip added to the bill can be removed upon request. Possibly a London thing, but we’re country folk from up north...

Fairly average pizza and service. Probably won't go back as it wasn't outstanding but on the plus side they were quite child friendly. Nothing bad but nothing great, just average.

Excellent, friendly service and food. We sat on the patio out front for our meal as the restaurant was a little too warm inside. The starter of olives was very good. We enjoyed vegetarian pizza, spaghetti with prawns, four cheese gnocchi, lasagna, and wine. Everything was delicious, served in good time, and we found the bill reasonable for four persons, averaging about 25 pounds/person. We would happily return here.

We received friendly service with good food and drink, which was reasonably priced. Would return if in the area, although was quiet for a Friday lunchtime.

Found this restaurant on Trip adviser for a location close to Royal Albert Hall. Quaint and intimate, the service and food were excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and we had a very enjoyable meal.

Great Italian restaurant with friendly service and good food. Good value and convenient location as close to South Ken station. Gets busy later in evening so make sure to book to secure a table.

LOvely food and very welcoming. Worth going to break away from the high street chains for something different and in my opinion better. Worth a try

This is the second time we have visited this restaurant. I would have given it six for the first time. However, we did not enjoy it so much this time. The waiting staff we unattentive to the point of being rude. When they did attend to our table, they did not understand what we were asking for on a couple of occations. The food itself was pretty good apart from the olives, which were salty to the point of being inedible. When we were there the first time, the olives were excellent.

Super dinner and a very friendly straff. Really enjoyed the food and service. The Pizza was fantastic and the pasta as in Italy. Well worth a visit 👌🌟👍

Quietly located away from the hustle and bustle of South Kensington, yet within a few minutes walk of the tube station, Pappa Roma's Italian Restaurant is a genuine, authentic experience of real Italian cuisine... My pizza base was typically rustic and clearly oven baked, without that sweetness of a Pizza Express pizza, where the dough has a one teaspoon measure of sugar added! The toppings on my "Primavera" were generous, and my side order of tomatoes were 100% Italian, so they were properly red, and tasted sweet, unlike the predominance of Dutch tomatoes preferred by the supermarkets... these Italian tomatoes were accompanied by red onions, and fresh basil. A glass of the Barbera was a perfect Italian red wine for my meal, and to finish, the cappuccino was suitably strong. The service was attentive, without being intrusive, the staff seemed happy, and were very helpful and patient with my group of diners. The price was reasonable, and I wish I could return sooner than September!!

Family friendly, proper Italian restaurant. We had a mix of starters, mains, pizzas and desserts. All were lovely. Will return next time we go to the Royal Albert Hall or Science Museum..

Small friendly Italian restaurant, slightly off the main drag. My daughter and I loved our mains and starters, but hubby found his rather salty and just OK. So a mixed bag really.

A very welcoming restaurant in the heart of Kensington. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. No rush to vacate the table at all. Complementary Limoncello was delish too.

We liked the atmosphere and the waiters were very friendly. My husband had the lasagna, which he loved. My spaghetti con pesto was a bit heavy on the salt. But the chocolate soufflé was to die for! All in all, a nice place worth visiting.
