Nice relaxed restaurant and lovely eastern food. Right next to the Park Theatre so you can't miss it. Nice original wood furniture and tables. Will sit outside next time if weather good. Mark
Big fan of Lebanese foof and this is no exception. Tasty food, very reasonably priced and served in a timely fashion. WE went next door to the theatre afterwards.
Pleasant, helpful staff. Very good food, freshly cooked. Lots of choices of tasty vegetarian dishes. Staff checked if everything was to our liking, which it was. Interesting and comfortable casual setting and good selection of unintrusive background music.
This is a lovely little restaurant right next door to The Park Theatre. Well priced and tasty food served by friendly staff. Not always the fastest service, but they knew we were going to the theatre and our food was served with time to spare. Don't expect 5*, but this is a great place to eat.
Very simple place, nice cosy atmosphere. Food was good and portions generous, but the dish I wanted wasn't available. Fairly priced but not too cheap.
The best Lebanese food in London. Great fresh ingredients used and the service is excellent. Don't be put off by the name, this is a true London gem.
Delicious food friendly staff and good atmosphere. Couldn't find fault. Made to feel very welcome and food came quickly. Would suggest a visit especially if you're vegetarian.
It is a very attactive and pleasant and small quiet cafe , great for talking to friends and food is lovely i ahve eaten there twice and enjoyed both occasions
Small but perfectly formed. Lovely food, helpful staff & good location. Ideal for a pre or post meal before the theatre, which is right next door. Definitely go again & recommend to friends.
Delicious food and good service. Will definitely go back again. The food was very tasty, hot and well presented. Friendly waitress with good advice. Reasonable prices.
Great evening. Lovely staff and food is divine. The choice of mezze is very wide and I strongly recommend to pick a few and share !
The atmosphere was lively and warm, and we instantly felt comfortable. Our waitress did seem a little stressed because it was very busy, but she was great and the food was delicious. The only thing was that she brought the bill before we'd even ordered coffees and it felt like we'd had our time! Despite this, I will go back.
The restaurant were not aware of the reservation. There is not much else to say except the food was good. Why must I use 25 words.
The best Lebanese food I have had for some time! Service good & bill reasonable. I will definitely be returning next time I am in Finsbury Park.
Nice welcome, freshly cooked food, couldn't have been better. One in our party asked for a variation in the menu, which was not a problem for the staff. Highly recommended.
Perfect. Thank you! Set menu for four offers a wonderful feast with a bottle of wine too. Staff are wonderful, appreciative, and proud. Excellent. Recommended.
Excellent service. Delicious food. Every dish was expertly flavoured. Generous portions. Happy to recomend. Next to the Park theatre so suited to a pre or post show meal.
A great little restaurant. We had fantastic food, loads of choice for vegetarians. Good service. Will definitely go back. An ideal place to eat when attending the Park Theatre.
Little gem with very friendly staff and delicious food. Perfect for a pre theatre meal or any time really. Try the falafel and Halloumi starters
We had a very tasty assortment of Meze plates, in particular the baby aubergines, a smooth house red wine, and pleasant service in comfortable surroundings. We would happily recommend it to friends.
A busy weekday evening with only one young woman serving the whole restaurant. Result? Poor and inattentive service. The food? Maybe the kitchen was having an 'off night'. Everything we had was lukewarm, and extremely greasy. A great disappointment all round.
Gorgeous food. Couldn't eat it all. Friendly service. Lovely atmosphere. Just wish the wine list had been more comprehensive. A lovely pre show meal. Timing perfect.
excellent food, the £90 feast for 4 was delicious and left a lot over for a doggie bag! Service pleasant and friendly, atmosphere good and next door to theatre
Pleasant surroundings, lovely food and good service. I have been here on several occasions and would Definitely recommend. The set menu for two is great value.
A very small but friendly and congenial cafe/restaurant. The staff were charming and the food delicious. Also, right next door to Park Theatre so very convenient for pre-theatre eating.
It is a small space so can get noisy. I thought the drinks were expensive for what they were but the food is varied and decently priced
fantastic food in a restaurant with a good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly with the manager particularly helpful and keen to help with our various orders.
An excellent meal, especially the fresh roast vegetables, lamb just melted in mouth and the rice was perfect. Would go again and recommend it to others.
We love the relaxed vibe here and the food is super tasty. We have been so often, on different days, with different people, but it's always a great call! We know our way around the menu now: the Fattoush salad is not to be missed, the pastries are also a highlight.
Lovely small restaurant - with great service and all the meze plates we shared were delicious! Great place to eat with a group of friends!
Lovely place to eat next to the theatre. Fantastic food. Good Lebanese wine and friendly staff. Much lovelier on the inside than it looks from on the outside!
Excellent Lebanese food and efficient friendly service We were a party of 4 and our reserved table was ready when we arrived. Good menu from which we chose a number of hot and cold starters. All tasted really good and the bill was reasonable for London. We'll definitely go there again.
Our theatre party enjoyed very tasty food with a wide range of choices. We experienced friendly and courteous service. Overall the meal was exxcellent value.
A very friendly place, worked out well to eat there before a play at Park Theatre next door. We had a bunch of starters rather than main courses and it was all good. excellent chicken livers! The house red went very well with it.
We were going to the play at the theatre next door. Excellent choice for quick bite and glass of wine before the play. Service was with a smile and the food was good. We will def go to My Cottage Cafe again.
Tasty food (including stuffed aubergines, chicken and lamb kebabs), good portions, and drinkable house wine. Coffee a slight disappointment but the little pastries that came with it were a welcome sweet touch. Pleasant and homely atmosphere; we had a good evening here.
Best Libanese in town, food quality similar to beirut places. Quite affordable, proper humus and falafel, amazing bbq and excellent deserts. Very cozy atmosphere to chill
Really lovely and friendly staff. Food was incredible. My friends and I have all lived in Lebanon, Palestine or Jordan in the recent past and eating here was like being back!
Delicious, traditional, homemade food. Setting would have been nicer if lights weren't so bright. We will definitely be going back if in the area again.
Friendly staff, good food, but our table was rather cramped. Managed to park right outside which was a bonus. Right next to the Park Theatre.
Good food. Friendly staff but tables need to be bigger if seating more people. Good value for money. Easy location. Good portion sizes especially the starters
Very good. Could have a bit more variety of wines by the glass, but the menu and food was excellent. Nice informal atmosphere, and very convenient for the Park a Theatre next door.
Perfect service, everything is really good but the meat is always overcooked and dry, mixed palter are exceptional both for the starters and the pies
Very good food - actually some of the nicest Lebanese dishes I've had in London, particularly an aubergine starter and beautifully done chicken livers. Only misses a 5 because of a slightly clueless server playing inappropriate music (rock in a middle eastern restaurant, after all that design care to make a pleasant visual setting?) but who changed it when asked.
Excellent and authentic Lebanese cuisine, and very friendly staff. We have eaten there several times, and it's very conveniently situated next door to the Park Theatre. Patsy
Great food and very lovely people. Perfect for pre- Park Theatre dinner. Full range of lebanese, mezze perfect for sharing and good house wine too.
They were clearly having a poor night. We waited 25 minutes before they took any notice of us. No offer of drinks or food, five staff all ignored us. After we ordered the food came quickly and was good. Once we had eaten they then told us that today it was cash only. So then I had to walk round Finsbury Park looking for a cash machine in the rain while my guests waited. At £25 per head l, the price was high for what we had. We also sat next to the door and 80% of everyone who came in or out left the door open and froze us!!
Very tasty Lebanese food & wine. Table a bit low & narrow. Perfectly located for a light meal before or after seeing a play at the Park Theatre next door.
Delicious food with friendly and personal service. Excellent value for money and beautiful interior. I would recommend getting lots of food to share, it's all delicious!
Perfect for a pre-theatre supper. Had a selection of the mezze between four of us. All very tasty. Good value for money. Would definitely return.
