Fabulous food and great atmosphere and service. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a fun and casual restaurant with friends or family. The menu was varied and authentic Italian.

Great food and service and the waiter - a chap from an East Central Italian village; didn't get his name - was v helpful when one of the younger members of our group had a slight fainting episode(!).

Really pleasant Italian food (try the pappardelle and panzanella) with friendly staff members. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also rustic and laid back - sit by the window.

Nice atmosphere, food ok, nothing special at all, service a little slow but very friendly. Price-wise not too bad but don't expect anything gourmet. Overall a nice place to visit with a group and with a few drinks, not really a food destination more a fun one.

Paesan is excellent value for money and the food is delicious. The £10 lunch menu for 2 courses is great for either a quick work lunch or something more leasurely should you wish. Will visit again.

Great atmosphere with a cosmopolitan vibe. Lovely helpful staff and delicious varied menu. Excellent pace of service...not too rushed or slow. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone.

Great tasting Italian food! Burrata was excellent and matched with warm aubergine which surprisingly really did work. Very fresh tasting. I will definatly be back!

Very efficient service and friendly staff. You can have an excellent meal from their "small plates". Reasonable prices. £5 or £6 per dish and four easily enough for two.

The only reason it is 5 not 6 was the noise level. Food and service terrific. One very rowdy table so we had to move (which the staff sorted out efficiently). Maybe very noisy tables should occasionally be asked to turn down the volume? Overall terrific place though.

Delicious food, great service, perfect atmosphere. We had the burrata with aubergines, pappardelle with rabbit and the saltimbocca. A must if you like true Italian food!

We visited Paesan on recommendation from an Italian friend and we were not disappointed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food was wonderful. We will definitely be returning here.

we had a lovely meal. The waiter was very friendly and helpful and the food was really good. The wait for the food was a bit slow so wouldnt recommend if you have time restrictions but its great for a relaxed dinner with friends. Great for a date night.

The food was ok, the chicken I ordered had too much oil on it and the salad looked like it had been pulled straight out of a Tesco bag. Desert was good, but overall the experience was fairly average.

The staff were really helpful and likeable and went out of way to find best table for us. Did everything to make great evening. The food was as ever, divine. Spaghetti vongole was superb.

The Food was Delicious and the service was warm and friendly. Being an old school Italian, i would have liked more meat on the menu. Though i did go for the creamy mushroom rissotto which i loved. We have been here before and will be going again.

Food was good, as always, but the service was a bit slow, maybe they didn't expect it to be so busy on a Wednesday night. Truffle fries are still the best!

Very friendly staff and awesome food, truly traditional Italian food. The restaurant is quite spacious and located near Exmouth market. They also have a cocktail bar on the lower ground floor. Highly recommended!

Good quality food from a small but varied menu. Decent wines from largely Italian sources. Attentive service. A lively atmosphere bordering on the noisy, owing to the extremely busy nature of the restaurant even though it was mid week. The style of decor is quite minimalist and allows sound to bounce about the room which can make it hard to hear fellow diners

Excellent food, excellent service. My boyfriend loves the meatballs in particular. It is a little noisy but there was a large party on the night we went, so couldn't be helped. Overall it's a lovely place.

First time in Paesan, really impressed by the place, and the quality of food and drinks. There is not much to choose in terms of Pasta, but the dishes were great. Couldn't say no to the happy hour! The drinks were very good and affordable. The staff were nice and friendly. Would definitely come back!

Good, helpful and efficient service. Waiting staff attentive and approachable. The beetroot and goats cheese salad was tasty and the mushroom risotto excellent. Wine list reasonably priced and interesting.
