Went on a Wednesday, £1 an ounce and quality was still excellent, sometimes you find quality suffers when places have offers but not here. Very busy so booking a must. Would highly recommend and definitely will be going again

This was the second visit we’ve had here. Arrived ten mins before table booking and sat at the bar for a drink. We were taken to our table at 9.15 ( booking was for 9) Got to the table and it only had one chair and was laid only for one! That was sorted. So we order food and the starters arrive. My partner had the squid and I had the baked Camembert. The squid was over cooked and chewy and the Camembert was under cooked. The mains arrived ( we both ordered fillet steak medium). However both came out medium rare. For an establishment portraying to be a steak house I would have thought they could have at least got the steaks right.

Brilliant place. Food, beer and atmosphere was good. We will definitely be coming back.

Good value for money on the £1 per ounce Tuesday and Wednesday specialty x not a lot of choice on starter or pudding but I know their main menu is on the steak so I am not too fuss about the rest x nice setting inside the restaurant x would go again for the deal mainly xx

A great experience.Only gripe, toilets are upstairs,not good for disabled people with mobility issues like myself.

We had a great time on our first visit to Ounce Bar. Our steaks were fantastic and cooked to perfection. We will be returning to try out the £1 per ounce offer! Many thanks for a very enjoyable experience.

Really enjoy eating here, the steaks are fantastic and the decor and ambiance of the restaurant is good. Only criticism is that is cramped and I was on a hard bench seat which was a little uncomfortable but this wouldn't put me off returning.

Having previously visited for steak nights we tried the Sunday lunch. We were not disappointed, we had the lamb and beef Sunday lunches and they were excellent, another fantastic meal at our favourite place. Staff and service were as usual brilliant, cannot wait for our next visit.

Food was very nice but as we were a large table and the last ones in there we felt rushed. The staff were keen to get us out and around 3-4 staff memebers stood chatting at the bar whilst we listened to the whole conversation. The flat mushroom wasn’t a flat mushroom it had been sliced and fried in with the onions which I think had been sat around for a while. Other than this the steak was good and tasty and the other accompaniments were good.
