Its really faultless if you visit on an offer night you really cannot go wrong, love Miller and Carter? This place is better

Excellent . New improved menu as well .. would like to see the Hanger steak come back though

Food was fab! Unfortunately had run out of a couple of options we wanted and they were very busy so service a little slower than usual.

Spoiled by neighbouring table’s abusive and intimidating behaviour/language and staff’s inability to manage situation. We left before finishing our meal.

Came for a Christmas meal and service was very slow due to Christmas rush. The steaks were all perfect but not in the right order with the right sauces. Staff were obviously brought in for the Christmas rush but not trained about what Menu they provided. Overall very good food but tainted by how busy they were

I was expecting it to be good, but it turned out to be exceptional. Absolutely first class steak, good service, nice (if very busy and therefore a bit noisy, but no complaints) ambience. I would recommend to anyone, and will certainly return.

Lunchtime 6 ounce steaks- absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly . Thoroughly recommended

This place never fails, if anything it gets better the more you go! Excellent flavours all around. The only issue is deciding which sauce to have, as they all taste so good!

The food was very average; vegetables hard, creamed spinach liquid, steak not cooked to how I’d asked, and it all went cold very quickly. Disappointed.

This was our first visit to Ounce and we decided to have the Sunday lunch. We chose the roast beef and I have to say it was the best we'd ever had. Very tender and tasty. Loved the cauliflower cheese too. Service was excellent. We will definitely be returning!

First time visit, cold starter, cold steak, staff really didn’t care no apologies one of the staff even laughed at us when we said the evening had been terrible. Such a shame as I’d heard really good things about the restaurant.

We have been to Ounce before and had lovely food and service but this time we were very disappointed. We waited ages to get our drinks ,then when our food arrived my husbands steak had to go back as he couldn't chew it, it was so grisly, they took ages to replace the meal ( 2nd one was lovely) but by the time his came my son and I had finished. The waitress never came over to check if the food was ok or to ask if we wanted any more drinks we had to get up to find them to ask for more drinks and to replace the steak. We waited ages again for the 2nd round of drinks then they charged us £6 for a children's icecream which I queried and was told sorry you have been charged for 2 although the bill said 1, It was a really disappointing and has put me off going again. It seems because we were right at the front of the restaurant we were out of site out of mind .

The steak as amazing and staff was really good aswell, only thing I will say is that the table we was on was a bit to close to the other table as my partner had to sit on the same bench as another family
