Lovely Butchers cut of beef. Sides tasty and enough to share for 2. Steaks cooked exactly the way we prefer. Early meal but bookings full after 18.00 until 21.00. Lots of waiting staff. Sweets looked excellent but main course so substantial couldn't order one. Full bar available.

Our first visit and really enjoyed.Our steaks and the atmosphere were outstanding.

Great juicy steak perfectly cooked and tasty fries with a nice side salad- super as usual!

Good was good albeit expensive. Service was poor and the inflexibility shown eg to swop chips for mash was unbelievable.

Lovely Sunday lunch with the family. Ounce is a small, cosy place but isnt too noisy and you can still enjoy the atmosphere. The food is fabulous and plenty!

Service is always good and having the £1 an ounce offer was definitely a plus and we took full advantage of this. the food quality is excellent as were the staff. Would recommend.

Been trying to get booked in for a “lunch date” for months and juggling busy schedules finally managed it! Absolutely worth the wait - food was amazing! Wanted to try it all so had sauces, bread, mash, cabbage! All cooked to perfection and food came out quickly but we didn’t feel rushed. An amazing experience already booked for May for birthday celebration

First time visiting. Have to admit, I didn't like steak but came to celebrate my husbands birthday. Tried a steak for the first time in 20 years and absolutely loved it!! I will definitely be returning

Superb Sunday lunch. The plate was piled high with meat, vegetables and two Yorkshire puddings. Not convinced by the Chantilly horseradish. Unfortunately it lacked flavour. Overall delicious.

A quiet little table for our family of 4, great local beers & excellent wine and outstanding Chateaubriand beef dinner for 4. Desserts pretty spectacular too. And always kind helpful & attentive staff. Thank you Team Ounce another wonderful night.
