Ounce At Worcester

Had to increase the number of people to include a high chair, the 10 month didn’t like the high chair so we put him in his pram and we got tutted at when it was taken away as it wasn’t used. overall great experience lovely food.

We’ve been going to ounce for a couple of years now and we’ve never had a bad experience! The steaks there are absolute perfection!

Took my wife for her first ounce experience, I have been several times and as usual it was great food and great service. I had T bone for the first time and it was delicious, just wish I had it done rare instead of my usual medium rare as it was just slightly over done for my liking But still so good

Always have a super meal and what with Covid felt very relaxed . My only problem was 2 non steak dishes were unavailable so I only had one choice left as I never have steak . The 3 men in my family do however

in 2 years in worcester, 2 years been guests of Ounce bar (always the top food quality), never tried their sunday lunch. absolutelly delightfull. staff always friendly and never bothered to do extra mile for guests. always a relaxing atmosphere. really enjoyed the time with my wife and felt safe with covid rules. thank you to make our day off from work so enjoyable. higly recommended

The food was good as always but I specifically asked/requested if something could be done as a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday but this was completely ignored! Not happy about that at all!!!

Marvellous... & I don’t use that word lightly. I am not a regular red meat eater, average steak is not worth the bother but here I have never been disappointed. Excellent cuts, cooked according to taste with intriguing side dishes. It’s fast becoming a regular haunt

Easy booking, easy to find. Looks very inviting. Staff are pleasant, welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. We did not wait long for our order to be taken and waited an appropriate amount of time for the food to be served. The steaks are delicious as are the sides. Overall I would recommend and return. First time I have been to Ounce and can fault it. Staff were superb and felt safe (in the current climate). The lady who served us was brilliant (sorry I forget her name) and food was brilliant. I had the butchers cut 10oz with peppercorn & cognac sauce. Brilliant from top to bottom

Best steak around and we were treated to it for half price... winner!!!

Only downside was that we were plagued by wasps as we wanted to stay outside. Love the food and the service is excellent.

Two of the steaks were undercooked and the waiter did Not advise us that the side we ordered was enough to share instead of having to buy for each person and also refused to cook one of our steaks to our liking, complete disappointment and definitely not worth £110

Quality of food and relaxed atmosphere make this one of my favourite restaurants in Worcester. There is a big chain steak house in Worcester but thankfully we have Ounce which is the real deal with fantastic quality meat and some great side dishes and range of ales.

The food was amazing but the staff was not smiling and the staff do not now how to lay a table with knifes and forks just handed me and my parner the knife and fork and just put it in the table

First ever time felt relaxed absolutely loved the feel of the place and how chilled out it was inside food was amazing taste was out of this world I love steak but a good steak and this was by far the best I’ve ever had! I will be back!

Best steak in Worcester by far. Service was amazing and friendly. Went on a Tuesday so did the pound and ounce deal such good value for money.

Superb food and service as always! Would absolutely love to see a couple of GF options for starters (just some GF bread with Camembert or the Mediterranean platter would be perfect 👌) but this absolute didn’t take anything away from our visit. Can’t wait to return!

The best cooked steak I have had and my wife and children loved it equally. Chips and sides were lovely. They have everyone spaced out comfortably and the butchers jus to go with the fillet was incredible. So good to have somewhere where master butchers and chefs combine with fantastic, friendly and relaxing service as well. They have absolutely nailed it at Ounce. Can’t wait to go again.
