Ounce At Worcester

We ate here on the 11th of July. Honestly food was amazing. So rich in flavour the steak practically melted in your mouth. Staff where great and more than accommodating. Would recommend the sticky toffee pudding and blueberry short bread for desert. We will be back. Best regards Scott

Amazing food as always. Would of preferred the onions and mushroom rather than the tomato. Love the selection of new sides and the mash was really tasty, something I feel has been missing in the past. Disappointed orchard cider has been taken off the bar, but very happy that the steak has stayed the same. The noise and language from one direction on the table next to us was unbearable, but that is no fault of the restaurant and Maybe they were a little excited after being locked up for 3 months and their testosterone levels were a little high. Felt safe and clean and not overcrowded.

Staff were fantastic, food wasn’t the best. Social distancing was done well.

Food was amazing, however waited about 20minutes for a drink even though order was made as soon as we were seated. Also was very very warm sat on the first floor. However the food was outstanding and will definitely go again 😁

First day open after lockdown and such a treat to go out and have a great steak and drink at a lovely restaurant. Food company and service was excellent.

After having had a great Sunday Lunch some weeks ago I promised myself a steak for my birthday. Coincidentally it was a pound an ounce night for the Butchers choice. I had the 16oz and although not a prime cut it was cooked to perfection. This place is a real gem and far better than your overpriced anonymous High Street steakhouses I could mention. Don't want to big it up to much far fear of never getting a booking again. Top grub.

My husband and i have been to ounce several times and throughly enjoyed every visit ..the food is consistently delicious..the venue decor is lovely with tea lighting and candles.. the staff very helpful eager to please . The only downside ... as the venue is so small the tables are very very close together as a result we tend to book for an early table .. Definitely worth it..!!

Really nice meal here again- t bone was very fatty and not enough meat as usual- mentioned to staff who deducted our drinks off. Always happy to please and lovely atmosphere
