Very slow service and the vegetables were very salty. On a positive note the beef was amazing.

Always have excellent food whenever we go. Service was great and good value on a Tuesday or Wednesday with the £1 an ounce menu! We will be back

The fillet steak my daughter had was 10/10. Unfortunately the two roast dinners and kids roast dinners were extremely salty. The meat was beautifully cooked however all of the elements had been so over salted it ruined the food. That said the service, quality of meat and value could not be faulted

As ever, this is a very good steakhouse. The table we were sat at was quite small and the food perhaps over seasoned for our tastes but it was really good nevertheless. Focaccia and olives to start was a bit different (looked like a mini loaf but really soft ) and delicious, we had the special of a sharing platter of fillet, ribeye and rump. Worth adding the jus. Nice bottle of red from Puglia was reasonably priced.

Food & service good but we were upstairs and it was very hot. We sat upstairs a few weeks ago too and it was very hot again.

Amazing food and service as always but we did feel rushed to leave as they had our table booked out again, which we were not advised of when we sat down. it would not have been an issue if they had told us, as we were booked for 6pm so it is logical that they would do that, just would have been nice to know.

The chateaubriand nights on Thursdays are just about the best priced fillet steak you'll eat. Unbelievably good value, paired with a fabulous atmosphere and superb drinks selection

Ounce is such a delightful place to go to after a while you find you are a regular. Tuesday pound an ounce is just great value for money and the only way this business can improve is by changing the menu a little.

Great food & wine and good, attentive service on our first visit to “Ounce” for eating. “Ounce”, aka “Marwood” aka “The Green Man” - where I used to play Pool in what was literally a one room pub in the 1960s and ‘70s. How times change. Superb.

I know alfegarto is usually one scoop, but they r densely packed lg scoup, yours was small and not so densely packed, lovely the espresso was hot (believe it or not I have had it served cold). But as this us my only gripe our visit was excellent. Brilliant staff, atmosphere perfect evening, so thank you.
