Othello's Greek Restaurant - Blackpool

othellos is a lovely wee place,olympia and the staff are so helpful,cannot do enough for you.The food is delicious and the portions are very generous.My hubby loves his mythos beer and Olympia gave him a mythos glass to bring home as a reminder of our visit.We have been twice now and will visit again when we are next coming to blackpool from Scotland.

Very easie to get to the resturant not far to walk from the tram.Good range of greek food to choose from , the staff were very nice a very enjoyable evening.

Lovely food, friendly staff (if rushing us to order a little bit) Last minute decision to go but pleased we did. Would definitely go again

As always, on our infrequent trips to Blackpool to see relatives, this is the first place we have a meal. Always excellent - the best Greek food outside of Greece! The staff are very friendly and willing to explain the dishes. Thoroughly recommended.

The food served was lovely and reasonably priced drinks where very expensive for small bottle of beer and wine. The service was little bit slow but overall enjoyed the meal and surroundings. I would consider returning to this restraurant. The main down point was the price of alchohol.

Service was good but kebabs were small rice was like tiny grains and hard! It was busy to be fair,nice place,good staff, good time had by all

Excellent and authentic Greek food, lovely atmosphere, reasonably priced. Staff polite and amenable. We had the Meze which was delicious, the Moussaka amazing! Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our meal at Othello's, got a great deal on the Meze and this was a great choice - excellent selection of starters and mains, it was great to try a bit of everything and it was very tasty. Also got to try some nice Greek beers. Staff were very friendly and efficient, highly recommended!

Brilliant, go whenever I can. Highly recommend. The meze is to die for and they do thisbe wine which is my favourite Cypriot wine! Stunning

Had a really lovely meal here on Friday night, and the waiter Bobby was very entertaining! It's such a shame the restaurant was so quiet, deserves to be busy every night.

The service was slow due to only having two staff working a busy floor, the food is to die for but the Calamari was over cooked and not very well battered, upon mentioning this to the chef it was deduced from the bill so the service was very good also.

Food and service fantastic i look forward to visiting Blackpool again and will not hesitate to go to this restaurant again I would recomend my freinds and family to go

Lovely home cooked authentic greek food, been going for many years and tastes delicious every time. Fabulous and friendly staff awaiting your every need. A treasure trove in blackpool.

2nd visit. Food great service excellent. Would recommend. A gem in blackpool. To find a top resturant in Blackpool is difficult. I will be returning soon.

Didn't realise it was the same people who had the Med above Ann Summers, great food, fantastic service I would recommend the food and experience to all. Make sure you go you will have a great time and the food is well worth it. Try the Mezza it was fab. Rod

Food was excellent, fresh well cooked and beautifully presented. Owner and staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was perfect for enjoying our meal. It was that good we went again the next night.

Nice food and atmosphere and friendly host but draught beer 1664 was a bit flat which was disappointing at £4 a pint. Tasted like one that had been left standing for a while.

The food is fabulous. Been 3 times to eat there already and each time had a wonderful meal. The wine is lovely to. We cannot fault it

Excellent menu, marvellous food, nice restaurant, friendly and efficient service. We came here last year in October, and have made a special trip up north to come back and sample this cuisine! We will be returning again I hope :-) would highly recommend this establishment

Excellent food, Excellent hosts we will definitely be returning. Starters were tasty and plentiful mains were rich and very filling. We had a good varied selection and no one within our group wads disappointed

We've been to Othello's several times now and every time the food and service has been excellent. Always a great atmosphere. Even the takeaway service is restaurant quality.

Great food, great service, very authentic cuisine. Having visited Cypress and Greece we found that the food and hospitality stirred up some very sweet memories. A must visit for Mediterranean cuisine lovers!

Staff really nice. Food not so nice. I had the mixed kebabs, really, really dry and over cooked meat, dry, tasteless rice. My husband had the pork and mushrooms in sauce, very, very tough meat. Probably won't be returning.

Great food, laid back effective service, good price. I used to live in greece, but was reluctant to try any greek restaurant, surely it cannot be as it is in greece. But it IS.

Great Food, lovely people. Can't fault it or the staff. Somewhere we like to eat when we can as it suits all tastes. Happy Christmas

I would not recommend this restaurant. We did go early (6pm), however, it felt like a cafe where you would go for breakfast. The food was completely tasteless. My wife had moussaka and I had Kleftico. I lived in Cyprus for 3 years and was soo looking forward to this meal. We complained about the food and were offered a free coffee or drink that we declined. The waiter did not point out the special offers that were valid from 5pm to 9pm and he charged us full price for our two meals, which was a lot. Given the tasteless food and poor waiter skills, terrible atmosphere (music kept breaking down), I would urge anybody considering to eat here not to.

Unfriendly welcome , calamari frozen type and souvlaki made with absolutely no care. Sooner restaurants like this with no interest in customer care close the better .

The food was great, however a jug of water that was requested took over an hour to arrive, even though any alcoholic drinks arrived immediately. We had the mezze menu and had to ask about deserts (which were included in the price.) So to sum up fantastic food, service left something to be desired.

Love this restaurant,me & my husband have been many times. We always choose the meze(if that's the correct spelling)that way you get a wee bit of everything & it's all amazing. Best to book though.

Food is very authentic Greek/Cypriot. Great selection of drink. Staff are so friendly, we were made to feel extremely welcome. I would highly recommend this restaurant for couples, family and friends.
