As usual the food was excellent, the staff were great and atmosphere perfect.

A great find! The staff were very friendly, especially Andrew, wh made us feel very welcomed. The good was great and the fact 5hat it was filled with local folk wh were keen to share how good it was, spoke volumes. Top tip: book up to avoid disappointment

We really could not fault our visit. The food was excellent, highly recommend the sea bream and risotto dishes but the service was spot on. Attentive to our needed without being too much. It was busy and the staff didn’t stop all night but the service was superb. Haven’t been for a while as a fair drive but remembered why it was / is our favourite restaurant.

Imaginative, locally sourced food presented with friendly attentive service in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere. This place never fails to delight!

We had the two course lunch menu - I had a beef pie with mash topping with chips and veg - DELICIOUS my mother as a celiac eats a gluten free diet and they were most accomodating of this - highly recommended

Had a great lunch here once again. We arrived a little early, but our table was ready. We had three courses and the food was all well prepared, tasty and presented beautifully. The brie starter was particularly good.

This was my second visit but first evening one. I had friends with me from Essex who were amazed and wished they had somewhere of the same calibre in their locality. Will be back again.
