Food was excellent, and the service and surroundings were very pleasant. I only wish I had had room for dessert. We will definitely be coming back for more.

Lovely food - the steak tartar was almost as good as my mom's! Attentive staff and buzzing atmosphere. On the downside, alcohols [especially wine list] a bit overpriced but in the end of the day alcohol is not compulsory ;) Also a bit of a back ground music would be a nice touch. Apart from that great evening, thank you.

Like a private club dining room, tables well spaced out. Tou can have a conversation and hear what tour partner is saying. Lovely home cooking, generous portions. Masses of different Vodkas....

Three for dinner on a Wednesday night. Not too busy when we arrived but buzzing by the time we left. Food was very tasty and the portions just the right size. The wine list was reasonable - we chose a bottle of the Georgian red which was very drinkable. Service was friendly. Will definitely come again.

Lovely restaurant. Food was tasty, service was good and staff were attentive and friendly, and its position relative to the Royal Albert Hall made it very convenient for a pre-show meal. Would recommend.

Excellent food, excellent service, great location close to Royal Albert Hall. Polish food is not just about herring, it is varied and delicious. Their Vodka cocktails are worth going back for after the show

Delicious food, we return time after time and each time we introduce new friends to the restaurant. The service does seem to be a little impersonal however.

Always a pleasure to dine at Ognisko - bar area perfect for relaxing whilst waiting for friends - team attentive as always during the meal but not over bearing - only thing was the pea and ham soup was really more like vegetable broth - but still enjoyed ... Am sure will be back.

Excellent, delicious upmarket Polish food, served by very professional and attentive staff in beautiful surroundings. Great wine list, but more fun to choose from their enormous range of flavoured vodkas or well-executed cocktails.

Ognisko restaurant is quite simply the finest place I have ever dined in my life. The cocktails (we had Martinis) set the mood and the food was really exceptional, served in a magnificent candle-lit space by attentive, friendly and professional staff. We shall return !

What a fabulous restaurant! Two minutes walk to Albert Hall so perfect for pre or post concert dining. Great ambience. Excellent service - friendly & relaxed yet super efficient. Food very high quality. Polish with a modern twist. Good sized portions and 'unfussy'' relying on quality ingredients. Bread so good I nearly had to cancel my main! We dine out a lot and couldn't fault this restaurant. We will certainly return and tell all our friends. Madeline & David . Cambridge

Service not as focussed as it should be.waited 45 mins for starter.rock sugar for espresso just totally wrong. a visit a few days before had a rude reception from the front of house blonde.this was not just eastern froideur.more an arrogant lack of grace. food is good as is winelist. Needs a more humane approach in the room.

The setting is really lovely, with high ceiling and nice furniture, but it is also not 'stiff' or too formal. We had drinks in the bar area for a while and then a great dinner. Staff was very friendly and helpful, they let you take your time to enjoy your meal, not trying to rush people out of the door. The room was lively but not too loud so it was a great place to go with friends.

Lovely restaurant. Attentive and efficient service. Interesting menu with a high standard of cooking. We both enjoyed the quail as a starter and our daughter, aged 11, thought the beetroot soup superior to mine! To follow I had the duck and my husband the slow cooked pork. Both were beautifully prepared and very tasty. The restaurant is clearly very popular and has the genteel feel of a private club about it.

A great restaurant and warm welcome. Service perfect and the food was amazing. We have never tried a Polish cuisine before, but I would not have thought it gets any better than Ognisko. Will definitely be coming back again. This get again proves what a wonderful city London is. Traditional authentic food at the highest level from so many different countries around the world, all within zone 1 of the tube network.
