Every time we go the service and food is amazing. The lamb shank curry is one of the best I’ve had and their fish curries are great. Last night I also tried methi chicken which was delightful. Really love the atmosphere and painting on the wall. They are rally good for people who are gluten free as most of the dishes naturally are, and the menus are clearly labelled.

Interesting menu and lively staff. Shame our waitress was on her last shift before changing to a bar job! Why would she not be happy with you?

This was the second time we've eaten here and the food and service were as fantastic as the first time. I'd strongly recommend this place and can confidently say that the curries have been the tastiest and best I've ever had.

Excellent food and service but evening marred by noisy , uncontrolled children on nearby table. Parents, not children to blame! Will certainly return as we otherwise enjoyed ourselves

The selection here is so different to the usual Indian restaurants that it makes the evening feel really special. Delicious food and excellent non obtrusive service.

Had a very good dinner. My only reasons for not giving a higher score are portions are too big and unfortunately, the monk fish was overcooked. I have experienced this at another restaurant. Looking forward to eating there again.

A firm favourite of mine and my husbands, in fact the whole family love it! Not your traditional run of the mill 'curry house' and I would highly recommend a visit.

Really nice food and friendly staff, however table wasn't ready when we arrived and made to wait in a very awkward place. We should have been offered complimentary drinks, which we weren't.

We had the tasting menu - good value for 3-4 courses and exceptionally good food. The waiter knew the dishes well and was really helpful in deciding what we would all like. The taste and quality was exceptional. At end of evening, noticed an award for "Best Indian in Bristol 2018" - well deserved.

I visited yesterday with my husband, daughter and her boyfriend. We all had wonderful curries, with different spices and flavours. Love this restaurant for their individual curries, so different from your usual curry restaurant. Service and advice on the curries, was impeccable.

Excellent food, great staff, and a lovely atmosphere. I docked 1 point because there was a very, very long wait between starters and mains - I suspect due to a large party - but no communication until after I chased our meals up.

Food very good although would like to see a change in menu for non meat eaters, Bombay aloo rather dry. The wait for service and food very slow sometimes when it’s busy. Overall a different Indian style which is good.

Our second visit to this great restaurant. Excellent food for the vegetarians and meat eaters in our group alike, and good service despite being one of the busiest nights of this year for them. We will all certainly be back.

My husband and I had eaten here once before and had chosen a main dish with sides we had a brilliant experience so we’re very much looking forward to another visit. The staff were efficient and friendly the wine excellent. We ordered the tasting menu this time and to be honest we were underwhelmed. The selection of curries was the best part of the meal the fist dish or amuse bouche had a watery strange texture and wasn’t that great and the grouse was rather fiddly, a lot of effort for not much meat or flavour. The desert of kufi was okay. All in all over all it was an okay meal we would return but just opt for a main dish with sides, I think the tasting menu could have been more tasty and fun than what we were presented with the night we visited.

Awesome food and knowledgeable service! First visit but will definitely be back soon. Great selection of vegetarian dishes, plus lots of vegan options too. Only think would be a little bit of advice on when is too much food to order. Had a bit left over and hate wasting food.

Had lamb rogan josh and the meat was very tough, was unable to tell a waiter while eating it and nobody came over to check if everything was ok, I did tell a waiter then he collected the plates and also when I settled the bill but this seem to fall on deaf ears. The wine was overpriced with an unpleasant taste. The poppadoms and dips were very nice and extremely tasty. The decor was nice but I think it lacked in ambience,it was very loud and echoey found it hard to hear my partner.

The food was incredible, would highly recommend the lamb saag. The restaurant was lovely and warm with a great atmosphere. I would suggest that they stop putting cucumber in their tap water but that's more of a personal preference.
