We love the fact that the curries are not the usual run of the mill. They have different twists to them, that work really well, and we look forward to our visits. The waiter was very helpful, and was able to give an over-view of all the dishes.

Excellent food and great service, enjoyed the unusual cocktails. Staff were attentive sat upstairs which felt more cosy. Food is on the spicer side however excellent!!

Excellent modern take on classic Indian food delivered with style. The good is very tasty. Definitely recommend for small group dinning for a more sophisticated Indian meal.

We went for the four course taster menu. Fantastic food.Thouroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and also the house special Gin cocktails. Will be going back soon.

Great food - excellent quality, freshly prepared, amazing flavours. Service was exceptional - left you alone, but there when needed - very quick too. Loses only one point for slightly limited vegetarian choice - could be better. Otherwise highly recommend this place

Fantastic food, beautiful flavours. Only marked it down for the fact the service was too rushed. Despite asking our food came out too fast. We did mention this to the waiter so hopefully they will take this on board.

We've eaten at Nutmeg several times and have enjoyed all of our visits tremendously. The food is outstanding- easily the best curry in Bristol. The staff are friendly, the menu varied and unusual, and the atmosphere is great.

The food tasted great, really different flavours and very different to your standard curry house. Although 1 out of 8 prawns we had between us was not quite cooked, they sorted it out for us and we're very nice. The biggest negative was we were stuck out the back in the 'Bollywood Suite' which had no windows, was very loud due to the other tables, and generally not a nice relaxing atmosphere to enjoy food. I think they are using this area to get more people in, but it's not very nice. If you book, do so in advance and make sure you get a table in the front or upstairs.

One of the best Indian meals for taste I have had in a long time, the balance between the heat and spice meant you could taste the spices and then got the heat, great ambiance to boot, will defiantly be back.

The food was fabulous, lovely flavours together, plenty of it but not so much that you just feel overwhelmed. The decor and ambience was fresh, interesting and really pleasant. And the service was superb - swift, helpful and responsive. The person I visited with lost an earring during the evening and when she went back a couple of days later to ask if they had found it, it had been found and put somewhere safe. A great evening and I will be coming back.

The tasting menu is excellent Good value and quality for money I always take raita as I don't eat very spicy food and this works perfectly

Great service with lovely staff. Very good starter and main, however missed a lot of the authentic Indian staples I.e poppadums and traditional chutneys and special rice etc.

Food was good as always , unfortunately only table was in a cupboard at the rear , if we wanted to eat in a window less room with poor acoustics and noisy groups we would have asked . Nice waitress and good food , but never again in the cupboard I'm afraid , come on nutmeg , that area is for loud groups only!

Indian food with a difference. We all had the taster menu and it was great to try a selection of food. The cod starter, in particular, was fantastic. All 3 of the mains were excellent too.

Staff were friendly, polite & helpful. An interesting menu to suit all tastes Food well presented. My Lamb Saag was a bit spicy but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes I will go back.

Our very first visit to Nutmeg Nice place clean tidy, parking well there is no parking, Starter very small portion, the rest of the food fair /good but we felt being rushed may be policy get them in and out. All in all not a bad experiance now we know the drill

Enjoyed our evening at this contemporary Indian restaurant. Food was fresh and tasty and service was efficient and friendly. Would have liked full sized popadoms and more traditional chutneys but other than that the food was very nice.

Delicious food, friendly staff and despite a small mishap with a dropped tray, stil got us fed and to the theatre on time. We will be back.

A wonderful restaurant with great food and service. Not the average Indian. Quality menu and cooking. Great tasting menu. If you like Indian food and are in Bristol this is a must.

Great, incredibly busy, restaurant - friendly service and fantastic food with really different dishes and incredible flavours. Despite the fact they were really busy (we went on a Wednesday night) we were not rushed, which was great.

Small, busy, buzzy restaurant. Great food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Visited on a Monday night, but packed. Good wine list, food nicely presented and not rushed.

Food was very tasty and different but the restaurant was so busy it was a bit chaotic. It felt like they took too many bookings for what they could cope with.

Modern Indian serving outstanding food from across 29 states. All our food was absolutely delicious and the service was first class. Would definitely recommend but be sure to book as they were full all night.
