This is a quality Indian restaurant, offering unusual options not normally found. The service is friendly and 1st class . Definitely a cut above the average restaurant. Highly recommended

Excellent meal, just what we wanted and the staff could not do enough to ensure we were well catered for. Pani poori brilliant. An innovative and creative choice menu with food from all over the sub continent.

Excellent service and a very interesting menu. Found my main course just too hot to handle, but will go back and try something a bit safer.

Overall the whole experience was good. The only thing we had popadoms, they were served with Apple chutney, chopped tomatoes and something that represented mint sauce not very nice would not recommend these as a starter. Very dissatisfied. We are probably used to having some India condiments instead. Everything else was very good. Just giving feedback as asked.

We went for our anniversary and service was excellent. The food was cooked perfectly the Goan Fish Curry was delicious. The meat in all the dishes was very succulent and well flavoured.

We were hosted with a warm welcome and excellent service throughout the night by all the staff we made contact with. The waitress who served us was conscientious, knowledgable, upbeat and professional throughout the night, despite having to serve many other tables. My parents remarked at how much of an enjoyable time they had and how wonderful the food was. I was also told that the food was cooked by the owner of the restaurant as the usual chef was in India at the time. I was heartened to hear this, as it shows how important food is to the people who own the restaurant. It was a memorable evening, made special by the attention to detail across the oh-so-delicious food and the outstanding service. Hopefully it won’t be too long before the next visit!

Food was overall very good but the service could have been better. Very slow to sort out drinks and we were dissapointed that there were multiple wines we selected out of stock. No apology and offer of a price reduction for upgrade.

Great food, although on this visit the service was poor and the staff were inattentive, which was a shame.

Food was ok but nothing special. The tandoori lamb chops were good but the samosas pretty average. Service was very slow and we had to chase to get drinks etc. Overall a bit disappointing.

Delicious curry (biryani highly recommended), but the service (our waiter anyway) was a little slow and sloppy. Still, an enjoyable evening and worth a visit

Having booked in advance, not too happy about first being seated upstairs even when I explained my difficulty climbing stairs. Because we weren’t given a different option, we had to ask to be seated downstairs. We were then put right next to the outside door. Not a brilliant experience. Food ok but wouldn’t particularly choose to return. Sorry.

Food was good and interesting menu choices; however the menu does not attempt to explain the heat of each dish and the restaurant does not attempt to adapt a dish to suit individual taste. I chose a chana massala which I regularly have at my local and checked with the waiter that it was not too spicy. When it came it was far too hot for me so I asked for some yogurt - it was still too hot so I was unable to eat it, the waiter was unconcerned and when the bill came I had been charged for the yogurt as well as the dish.

Food was good but the service was rather slow with the drinks and clearing of the plates once we'd finished. I would understand if the restaurant was busy but it wasn't.

A modern twist on the traditional Indian Restaurant. Would have liked more poppadoms, a limited menu but some interesting different dishes. Will go again soon.

Flavoursome Indian food, something a bit different to your stereotypical curry house. Very busy as was a Saturday, got very loud from people talking. Will be back, maybe a mid week night though.

Good to different choices on the menu with the potential for a regional tasting menu. Good food reflects the excellent ingredients. Shows what a little imagination can do.

Attentive service, each dish was presented beautifully and tasted as described on the menu. Lamb shank and biriyani highly recommended by two very satisfied customers. This is no ordinary Indian restaurant; the focus being on creating original dishes with a modern flair. Just divine.

We had a really lovely taster meal to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. There was a really interesting selection of food from various parts of India and the Keralan dishes matched the delicious food that we tasted over there.
