The fish was okay but the chips were small broken pieces soggy just like overcooked boiled potatoes. The service was pleasant and the atmosphere was nice.
Excellent fish and chips with friendly and relaxed service in an old-school restaurant. The ‘refillable’ chips is a great offer — in theory! We couldn’t manage more than one portion!
The food was fabulous, grilled plaice and lovely chips. There was a great buzz as it was so busy. We will definitely be back. Staff were lovely too.
Always visit for every trip to London; amazing fish, extremely nice staff great place. Many visits over the past 20 years, always delicious. Great place.
Simple food, done well - the hallmark of any really good restaurant. It isn't cheap, but it's definitely worth it. Service was decent, but the waitress seemed a bit overworked
Great recommendation by the staff to opt for the Grilled Seabass. Fish was tender and filling. My friend had the fish and chips and enjoyed it very much.
Das Essen war hervorragend und der Service sehr nett. Preis Leistung stimmt auch. Fast hätte man bei dem Fisch das erfrischende Meerwasser herausgeschmeckt. Lockeres Fleisch ganz ohne Gräten.
Great food, very pleasant and helpful staff and friendly atmosphere. Pleasant space with comfortable chairs and a large window at the front overlooking the quiet street where the restaurant is situated.
Service was great and the Fish and Chips was excellent. Would recommend to everyone to visit. It is centrally just 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross station.
It was nice enough food. My fish was a bit chewy, but the rest of my group seemed to enjoy theirs. Perhaps I was just a bit unlucky.
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with Quality food, great service and a friendly atmosphere. The lemon sole was superb and home made tartare sauce the best in London.
Friendly and efficient staff, excellent food, warm atmosphere, great experience!I have visited several times over the years, and it has always seemed both consistent yet always improving. It is a place to enjoy fine conversation with good friends
This place is not one that you would necessarily come across on a random walk through the common areas that tourists tend to visit while in London. It's well worth planning for a dinner night out at North Sea Fish Restaurant for some super good, authentic fish and chips!
Excellent service at this top quality fish and chip restaurant - far more than just the traditional fish and chips. Highly recommended for a chance to try a great British tradition, but with other options as well.
This is consistently the best place for fish and chips in London. The staff are friendly and the environment welcoming. I've been coming to this place since 1990 and have never been disappointed.
One of the best places in London for old time fish and chips -- we had tasty cod and chips and very tasty haddock and chips, and shared a petit pois. The accompanying Australian wine was very nice.
Tutto bello buono , posto accogliente e direi familiare. Vicino a Russel Squeare , ho prenotato con Quandoo Totto perfetto, poi un grazie allo staff
Food excellent, service excellent and great value for money. Portions are generous and I am thankful the waitress advised me to settle for the medium battered cod as with all the side orders the large would have been too much. The unlimited chips did not look that fantastic on appearance but tasted wonderful. I have not stopped raving about this restaurant all Easter weekend and willl he visiting again very soon.
