Great food and service. It was a cold night and the restaurant was a little cold too but to be fair it did warm up. Would recommend and would return myself.

A good unusual menu. The food was lovely and the service great. The new decor is not the usual being modern yet comfortable. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent food and friendly service, busy but didn't wait long. Local bottled ales as a bonus. Good location near other facilities on Gosforth High Street. Superb.

Good flavours, pleasant environment and staff helpful. Good choice for a local curry without having to go into the city centre. We'll be back again soon.

1st time at this restaurant since it reopened. Decor a little too minimal for me, but problem was poor food rather than harsh lighting! Bhuna prawnpuri dry and dull, chicken main simply too spicy to eat. It was a challenge dish rather than something I'd choose to buy and eat. The restaurant was busy, perhaps we simply picked badly, but as a lover of curries and spices I'm afraid it didn't work for me.

Great place , great food great service definitely recommend this place. I had the lamb and chic peas it was delicious and the condiments with the poppadoms are tasty

Quiet early evening, but soon filled up. The food was great, the staff were friendly and attentive, but we weren't rushed. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Well worth a visit.

Enjoyed our meal, thought the portions were a little small, but got a nice freebie before our meal arrived and in general it was an enjoyable experience.

Excellent food and prompt, attentive service. Great selection of dishes with some 'non-standard' alongside usual suspects. Nice selection of local (bottled) beers as a bonus.

Good atmosphere and pleasant service the only problem was that our table for 2 wasn't big enough to accommodate drinks and food and we had to keep moving things around

Busy Friday night with great atmosphere, food average, nans undercooked and main course unremarkable, however this was the first curry I'd had since returning from India last year so slightly unfair comparison. Staff all great, will try again

Very good food ,very helpful and pleasant staff best Indian restaurant in gosforth will definitely return. Booked through quandoo app which was very simple and convenient.

Greeted with friendly staff and a dish to tuck into while looking at the menu. The food was lovely, full of flavour and well presented. Looking forward to the next visit.

We visited on a Saturday evening at 7.30 it was are first visit to the New New Bengal the menu is not vast and I thought a bit on the pricey side, the food was very nice but the chef must have liked his food very spicey were four of us and all of our dishes were on the hot side but we enjoyed it anyway, it was not that busy, the service was not good, by the time we came out it was very busy.

Great food lovely staff and atmosphere highly recommended. Will be back for another lovely meal. Husband had the fish and he said it was very tasty.
