Really great tapas in a lovely atmosphere! Would recommend to anyone visiting Liverpool. The squid and the Sea Bass where are favourite, but everything was really good, and we were spoilt for choice on the menu. Only problem was deciding what to have !

Always good food and good portions. The only letdown was the chips / fries with the fried egg dish, plenty of them but they were overdone. Not the end of the world though ! Still a good meal and night overall.

Neon Jamon do good quality tapas at a reasonable price. The table space is a bit restricted but the waiters are friendly and provide a good service.

We had a great night at Neon Jamon. There is a great range of high quality food on the menu & very friendly staff. When you visit make sure you save some room for the brandy snaps.

Hake was a bit bland, other than that faultless. Great service and knowledge when asked about wine. Ribs, mushroom and straw fries with chorizo particularly good

The food was exceptional, especially given that it was very busy so it would have been easy to drop the standards a little in order to keep the pace up. As it is tapas, the food comes out as and when it's ready, but it's quick enough that nobody was waiting long. Between our table (which was four of us) we had the olives (not so great, very little by way of seasoning so were somewhat bland), ribs (amazing), Mini hamburgers (very nice, but disappointingly small. So much so that I actually wouldn't recommend getting these, given the incredibly poor value they represent), sauted mushrooms (also amazing, somewhat unexpectedly so), hake (simply wonderful, possibly the best of the whole meal), patatas bravas (nice, but nothing special), string fries (unusual extremely thin and crispy chips, not really my cup of tea by the table enjoyed them) and finally belly pork (not the best example of belly pork I have ever eaten, but was still very good). Overall i would definitely recommend it, as the atmosphere was lively and the food all in all was great. Value for money wasn't really the best (£100 on the nose, but we weren't even drinking) but we can't exactly say we left hungry, so while the portion sizes weren't the best, the quantity across the table set us up to fill ourselves nicely.

Visited the restaurant in the evening. We were delayed commuting into Liverpool from Manchester Airport, so decided to ring in in case we had to cancel our table. When we rang the restaurant reassured us that they would hold onto our table. Management very amiable yet professional. Delicious Spanish food that can't be faulted 👍

The only downside is that you can't order everything as looking at other people's plates makes you jealous. Food we did order was fantastic though and the service was great too, will definitely be visiting again.

Place looked dirty. Food acceptable but poor service. 20 mins to clear plates and take dessert orders is too long. Then, 30 mins for desserts to arrive is poor. Not as good as Smithdown Place. We would not reccommend, nor go again.

Visited this restaurant following a recommendation from a friend, unfortunately we were massively disappointed. After being sat at a sticky table with crumbs from the previous customers, we were handed our ripped paper menus, and left without drinks for about 10 minutes. Finally ordered food and drinks, only for one of our overpriced microwaved dishes to arrive before our drinks. On noticing we were sat at a table without cutlery we asked our waitress for some, who simply pointed at the table next to us and stated "yeah they're over there", forcing us to interrupt someone else's meal to get some. We'd ordered several dishes to share, and were soon left with no room on the table as waitresses brought more dishes, but neglected to take any empty plates back with them. My partner was left without a drink for the majority of his meal (after a long day at work and a long journey time I admit he does inhale his beers), but no further drinks were offered until all empty plates had been cleared. As someone who's worked in the service industry for a long time I usually have a lot of respect for waiting staff and will give them the benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately this was the worst service I've had for a long time, only made worse by the sub-par overpriced tapas. Only redeeming feature was probably the gluten free beer, and I'm not entirely sure they can take credit for that.

The food is excellent as always but on this Thursday night the music was far too loud and as a result everyone had to shout to have a conversation. Will go again but not in the evening.

Food was amazing, staff are polite and friendly. Reasonable prices and a good choice. Only reason I wouldn't give it a 6 is that it looks a bit scruffy inside. E.g stains on seats.

Amazing food. Clams were gorgeous, chorizo delicious. Good wine choice. Service a bit surly. And felt a little like we were in the way when still sitting there at 9.30 (our table was only booked for 8.15). Would go back and hope they were just on an off night.

Great venue and the food was superb. This was an early pre-theatre visit and the small plate menu suited perfectly. The waitress was outstanding, very helpful with a good sense of humour. She was a delight. A nice experience and recommended.

Great atmosphere and soundtrack but that might just be our age. Service was good and we had a nice evening. Food is mixed. Some of the descriptions make the dishes sound more than they are, our picos cheese plate to start was a couple of slabs of too cold cheese with some chutney, a bit underwhelming and the fries with fried eggs and chorizo, a signature dish, were poor. Tasteless fries, overcooked chorizo and a portion that was bigger than a local chippy. Not tapas I'm afraid. Highlights were the hake with mussels along with the croquettas, but overall too much reliance on the fryer.

Good Service and good food. It was my first time having tapas, so for a first time experience it was great so I hope to return sometime in the future.
