Went out for our anniversary - this was probably less formal than we would usually choose for a special occasion, but the reviews got us hooked, and we weren’t disappointed - Great food, lovely staff and a fab playlist. We really enjoyed the sea bass and chorizo dish! Thanks to all.

Good food in a great city. A little bit lack in the service, but an ok experience. The dorado was really good, and should be tested by other guests.

Fantastic food and staff were all very friendly but not over the top best food we’ve had for ages. Nutella cheesecake was amazing!!!! My favourite was the sautéed mushrooms

Lovely food, great service. 3 courses and drinks took a bit longer than the others we’d had, but was all apologised for and rectified. I look forward to eating there again!

Fantastic food, speedy service. Only blip was being charged for the table next to ours’ food as well as our own! It’s also in a great area with good bars nearby. Would definitely return.

The food was good and the service was excellent. We appreciated having a table upstairs by the window - less noisy with a view of Berry State

Staff were great the food was mediocre. We were expecting really good food but the reviews didn’t live up to our expectations. Maybe a little more time spent on the preparation would go a long way.

Food was ok but service was some of the worst I’ve ever received. 15 minutes wait for drinks order, food order wasn’t long after and generally food wasn’t a long wait however trying to order another drink was very difficult and even when we ordered one the wait was unacceptable. No apology, nothing. There were no staff around to even complain. Ordered dessert and waited so long that we just asked for the bill to be told that the kitchen thought we’d had dessert and that’s why it hadn’t come. We were not offered anything as an apology. Again the wait to pay the bill was so long we got up, put our coats on and stood and waited - nothing. So we went downstairs to the bar to pay and leave. The service was that bad it would put me off returning and I’m not usually one to complain - trust me!

We were a group of 8 and we’re told we had to have the set menu, which wasnt ideal. We weren’t able to order from the menu, which would have been preferable. Also everything came too quickly as if they wanted us to Eat and leave quickly.

Food was pretty average, nothing to shout about. Service was pretty poor; at one point we waited over 30 minutes for someone to come to our table for our next order. I imagine there are better tapas restaurants in Liverpool to go to.

Good food, good environment, Some waiters could’ve been a bit more chilled out as it seems they are rushing customers, exactly the opposite of you want when you go out for a meal with friends. Place could also be a bit quieter, it isn’t a bar/club. As everything to get top rating in my opinion just taking care of this two aspects and you’re there.

Fantastic tapas! Gambia’s to die for and the goats cheese with honey and orange are phenomemal! Asked to swap tables 2 mins after being seated and food slightly pricey (especially straw fries) but would visit again!! 6.5/10

I've been to this place before and was blown away by it, but not tonight. The staff were great as usual but we waited 20 minutes for out table. We were told the kitchen was running behind and you could tell. The food was average and barely warm. I'm hoping this was a rare bad night for a usually awesome place.

Don’t book online! We booked a month before the meal and we were put on a lunch counter by the door. Other people who had rung up on the day had much better bigger proper tables. The restaurant said that you got allocated in order you came in - seemed to be worse tables first :( But if you ring up and get a proper table the good news is that the food is very good but I would order in batches because otherwise they literally bring it all at once with no staging of dishes at all. We thought the fish and seafood dishes were particularly well cooked and tasty.

This is a great Spanish tapas restaurant. I went with the two pickiest Spanish eaters and they adored this place. We arrived early and was able to sit. The waiters spoke both English and Spanish. The food was great and the atmosphere good. The playlist was really good too. A must for lovers of Spanish food.

Overall, a good experience and any points below that appear "negative" are only quite minor niggles. welcome was good, and when we asked to be seated away from the front door (it was a very cold evening and the draoughts from the door would have been a proper spoiler - a second set of doors is needed at the street level to reduce draughts) the manager was good enough to relocate us with no fuss. Drinks were good, and not too many so as to cause choice paralysis. Food as a whole was very nice, and the staff very friendly and helpful, there just weren't enough of them for the covers and parties they were working (or so it seemed to me). Finally, the Licor43 coffee to finish was as good a liquor coffee as I have had in a very long time.
