Nama is very enjoyable. The food is sparkling , very precise and delicious, and just warm enough so you don't feel everything is cold and raw. The truffle pasta and the blueberry cheesecake are just wonderful. There is a lot of cooking skill here and it is not a cheap meal, but we keep returning as it is well worth it.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely top notch and delicious and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I think it could be further improved by making the decoration and furnishings used a little warmer to create a feeling of more intimacy and relaxation.

Absolutely amazing food and service. We were served by a French man with a beard who was amazing. His knowledge of raw and vegan food was incredibly helpful and we are definitely coming again. Thank you thank you, you made my wife's birthday! X

The food is excellent and well presented and waiters / waitresses are nice and helpful in their menu recommendations. The lack of 6 stars is due to the small portions and service being too slow.

Great place, friendly staff, had a voucher which was fine as I supplied them with all the codes beforehand. In case you are wondering my code was from Timeout

Beautifully presented, tasty and interesting food. We were at a sort of breakfast bar as all the tables were full so that was a disappointment.

Excellent food: pizza, wrap, seaweed salad and cheese&crackers. Good service. Appearance and decor could improve overall experience, as well as a bit of space between tables.

Food was really surprising and good (makes you reconsider the whole way you're eating). Was expecting the place to be bigger and seats/tables more comfortable but still that's a great place to go for a Brunch. Would love to try their pizzas next time!

Food took a bit long to come, but the presentation and the food it's self tasted amazing, they best vegan food I have had, especially considering that it was all raw food.. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely delicious and great service. I had the Napoli pizza which was a bit on the small side but very flavourful and the salted chocolate caramel cake which I would highly recommend.

Great food, always delicious & unexpected, amazing flavours. And no need to be a vegan raw foodist. I’m not & I love the food at Nama.

I'd never tried a raw vegan restaurant. Was coming with a friend who was vegan. I wanted something in the Notting Hill Gate area. Nama looked to be perfect. The food was amazing in its creative presentation and indeed was tasty and felt very nourishing. While the space is cozy, it was disconcerting to have the loud banging noise of fresh coconuts being opened right beside us - with no apologies or explanation as to how long it would go on. The downstairs area near the open kitchen felt stuffy. The waiter was friendly but cheeky. And when the bill came I felt the price tag was over the top -- £85 for 2 with no booze. It's likely to be a one off visit for me.

It took way too long for the food to come out - waited at least 45 minutes for the mains. They do make raw vegan food taste really good though. Worth the visit but make sure you have plenty of time

As much as the presentation of the food was amazing I felt that the meals that both my girlfriend and I received lacked flavor. I found that the staff were friendly but I just didn't appreciate having to wait such a long time to be served and the space on the ground level was slightly cramped for my liking.

The food was lovely but our entire party stayed at the restaurant for 3 whole hours to get our food. The other guys seated near us was the same. We booked our table in advance so it wasn't a 'surprise' to them so I don't know why they didn't have more people in the kitchen if they were slightly over capacity. Was really looking forward to this but left feeling quite disappointed.

Disaster. In an hour and a half out of our three course dinner (pre-booked) we got a starter (both of us the same (tasty) salad, as the guy misheard the orders) and started to wonder if we were ever going to get the main. Instead we were brought desserts. At that point we just gave up and decided to leave.

Amazing food!! Good portion and prices considering the amount of time and effort goes into the prep. Remember to save room for then tiramisu which was divine!! Although service can be quite slow since there was only 2 waiters.

As NAMA is an unusual restaurant, serving raw vegan cuisine, the atmosphere is quite communal. The food is paramount and conversations amongst tables is common. Our meal was delicious and surprisingly filling, with a wonderful variety of flavours and textures. But the best of all has to be the desserts! I went for the salted caramel chocolate cake and can truthfully say it's the best I've ever tasted. Give it a go and you will not be disappointed with the guilt free experience.

The food is excellent. The service is very slow but the waiters are very nice. However after the waiter spilled the oil from my plate onto my laps, I was expecting a kind gesture (apart from helping me cleaning). I was very surprised to see that the 10% service fee was added to the bill anyway...

Excellent, fresh dishes that would do great also in any non-vegan restaurant's menu. Because so much is prepared fresh on the spot there is a bit of a wait, so it may not be the best places for people in a hurry. However, for those who wish to enjoy a peaceful meal with good food, this is definitely a place to try! The staff is also very kind and I loved the fact that the basement floor gets natural light thanks to the big front window. All in all a great experience, I would love to visit again.

NAMA is a beautiful raw vegan restaurant. I ordered the mushroom pizza and absolutely loved it. When I received it I thought the portions are a bit small for the price but they were filling nonetheless so you don't need any more really.

Amazing food as always - was expecting something a little more 'eggy' in texture from the cashew 'egg', which although tasty, was basically a smooth cashew cream with black salt and turmeric. Long wait for main courses (40+ minutes) and a drink forgotten at the end makes a 4* rating. Desserts were AMAZING and I will of course be back to sample more of the inventive and delicious menu.

The dishes imitated traditional dishes - and imitations always tend to disappoint. The menu needs to be more original, and come up with its own unique raw vegan dishes (not copies of traditional meat and vegetarian dishes). The skills are there to make really good raw vegan food - the menu just needs a bit more imagination, with unique dishes that stand on their own as great dishes.

The food was delicious and innovative, and the service was friendly, in a relaxed atmosphere. All of the vegan, organic, raw, gluten-free dishes we tried - from white truffle pizza to the delightful cheese board - were scrumptious. I wish they would open a restaurant in my home city of Brussels.

My wife and I were warmly welcomed in this restaurant. On the menu, we have found vegan, gluten free and raw variations of famous dishes. I took the lasagne, my wife the truffle zucchine pasta. The waiting time was ok, the waiter was nice without being invasive. Both dishes tasted great, the ingredient were fresh, the flavours were quite subtle and well arranged. For desserts, we got the blueberry cheesecake and the tiramisu. Less impressive than the main dishes in my opinion, but still good. Overall, the experience was really positive, and would recommend it to any of my friends, even carnivorous ones.

When in London I do my best to plan a visit to Nama. Although in The Netherlands there are raw organic restaurants, Nama is for me the best. They create fairytail treasures with the most amazing loving dedication and taste.

Good food and nice staff. This place is really cool. Would have given full score, but as we accepted the waiter's suggestion about adding avocado to the dish, we did not expect getting 1/4 of an avocado and paying 3£ for that little extra.

The food was very tasty but portions too small to feel satisfied. Particularly for the price. The pizza was very small probably the size of two regular slices and about £15! Service was also very slow and maybe they could set expectations when you order so you know. Staff were friendly though. I think we spent £57 and actually went straight to somewhere else to get something else to eat as i was still hungry after. Also set up is more appropriate for lunch. It didn't feel like i was sitting in a nice restaurant but maybe more that they kept a lunch spot open into the evening. Again the food did taste very good.

The food and service were excellent but the restaurant itself is a bit basic and not very comfortable. We were there for dinner so were sat at a very cramped table for a few hours - perhaps at lunch it would be ok. However, if you're spending £50 per head I think a bit more comfort could be expected?

Had a very nice meal at Nama - lots of interesting dishes to choose from and lovely friendly staff to look after us. Only slight criticism is that the tables are small and there was no where to leave our soaking wet coats and umbrellas - so they had to be on the backs of our chairs all evening. Made us feel a bit cramped! Would definitely recommend Nama and will be going back to try more dishes. 😀
