Very prompt service. Great food; the fish was particularly nice. The staff were lovely and attentive without being intrusive. Great atmosphere ... and the gin was gorgeous!

Beautiful food and lovely friendly atmosphere. We attended very early evening and the staff were very welcoming to our two children who had a lovely time and excellent meal

The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was genuinely that of a continental cafe-- not super-quiet, lively rather than cosy. The food was quite good, with excellent ingredients.

We go the restaurant on a regular basis service and food is very good.Going during the week there is a cheaper menu which is an added bonus

First time ever that we have been disappointed with a meal at Muse. We were cold as there was an intermittent problem with the heating and every time the door opened we got a cold draught. My first course was over caramelised and part of my main course was burnt as well.

Excellent service, food was delicious 😋 first class, lovely atmosphere would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Staff were very polite and obliging nothing was to much trouble. Thanks

Lovely setting. On this occasion the service was slower in my opinions the food look like it had been sat under the heaters for a while but not bad enough to send it back.

The service was excellent and the staff were very good, both my wife and I had the soup for starters which was hot and extremely tasty.my wife had the baked cod and risotto which she enjoyed, and although my beef was very tasty half of it was fat and considering it cost £17 it definitely was not worth the price.

Had the early bird prix fixe menu which was excellent value. We had beef medallions and pheasant, both of which were really tasty. As ever, Muse is reliably good.

Food, wine and service absolutely immaculate as always! The seafood pancake starter is an absolute winner and the venison main course was cooked to perfection! Highly recommend this place!!!

Sunday lunch is essentially an upmarket carvery, topped and tailed by rather delicious starters and deserts. Busy, but not rammed, and with very attentive and pleasant service in smart surroundings. A good range of decently priced wines, beers and cocktails. What's not to like!?

This is a nice restaurant but the waiting times between meals seem to have increased beyond a reasonable wAit even though the restaurant was only half full. There were plenty of waiting staff asking if we wanted more drinks but this seemed to be to fill gaps between the meals. The food is fine, if you want a very leisurely lunch then this is a good place.

Very good friends lunch. Prosecco served in lovely glasses. Burgers home made & cooked & served perfectly. Staff very friendly. Great atmosphere & great value.

Was quite busy for a Tuesday night and my wife felt like we were in quite a cramped spot where we were sat. She was also disappointed at the fact that the online menu showed that scallops were available as a starter, only to find that is the one thing that’s not actually on the menu in the place itself. I thoroughly enjoyed the seafood pancake starter and lamb main - they were excellent. As was my wife’s beef rib dish. Excellent night celebrating our anniversary

Staff were friendly and attentive. My wife ordered her lunch to be slightly changed from the menu which wasn’t a problem. I would highly recommend Muse to anyone.

Two from the party ordered silrloin steak, well done, they were flavoursome, however, grizzly. The restaurant was apologetic as a gesture of good will offered us desserts.

Excellent value for money with the set menu. We had a delicious three courses and a free glass of wine to sample with their wine Wednesday iniative. We were worried it would be a little pretentious with it being in yarm but we were pleasantly surprised and the staff were great! We would visit again.

Thursday morning breakfast with the family. Allergies catered for by friendly and efficient staff. High standard maintained - for food and service- as per usual.

A really nice meal with good service , however I did feel that the chef must have quite a sweet tooth. Both the onion soup and the pepper sauce were quite sweet to me , possibly just my palate. I must stress that I still thought this was a really good meal.

We had lunch with friends. The restaurant was very busy, but there was the usual good service, and the staff were all very helpful. One of our party had dietary requirements and the Chef was very accomodating.. Thoroughly enjoyable and varied menu.

This was my first time at Muse and the lunch service was excellent overall. Staff are very friendly and the food was of a high standard, with the Prix Fixe menu good value at £25 for 3 courses - all of which were lovely.

The best Sunday lunch around. Beautiful food with tender beef and the best Yorkshire puddings, great service and a lovely atmosphere. Excellent value for money for what you get.

We had a delicious and enjoyable Sunday lunch in lovely relaxed surroundings. Great choice, and attentive service. The restaurant was fairly full and yet didn't feel busy.

Delicious birthday lunch at Muse. There was an excellent choice and the food was very good. We would recommend the cheese board - it was really good too !

Food and service very good. £8.95 for a glass of wine !!!!!! Whats that about ? Being charged a ridiculous amount for a mediocre glass of wine just spoils what would of been a lovely evening.

It was great, as always. We came for lunch, I couldn't decide what to have as all on the menu looked so good. Finally chose chicken breast, quite an adventurous decision as I don't like chicken that much, and it was absolutely fantastic!!!! Great food, great atmosphere, can't wait to come back.

Frequently go to Muse, love the food and the relaxed ambiance. Today was the first time I’ve been disappointed, nearly 45 minute wait for the food to arrive and when it did, the pheasant was very dry and unpleasant to try and eat. I was impressed at the way our disappointment was handled though, an apology, explanation and no charge for that course ensures we will readily return and I’m sure enjoy the food as we have many times before.

Great food, attentive staff, a fab dining experience. Book early as this ever popular restaurant is filled quickly. Free parking in Yarm on Sunday is an added bonus.

The food at Muse was out of this world! My fiancé had the chicken and I had the lamb burger. The wine recommended by the staff was also wonderful. Will certainly be going back!!

Both service and food quality superb, enjoyed another great evening at Muse. Definately recommend a visit we certainly will be there again before too long.

Great night and lovely food! Really enjoyed the lamb and then the banana bread and butter pudding. Staff really friendly too. A little expensive but Recommend going as a treat!
