Monsoon is the best Indian restaurant around, we have been going for years, we have also tried most of the other ones in the area and nothing comes close. The food is absolutely outstanding, I usually go for the Madras and it never disappoints. Most importantly the staff are the ones that make the whole experience and they are absolutely brilliant, always ready to greet you with a smile and offer some of the friendliest service we have encountered out of any restaurant we have been to. Thanks to all the team back and front of house for continuing to deliver an amazing experience!

Can’t fault the friendly service and great food however, we unfortunately had 2 extremely raucous tables next to us; very loud shouting and laughing between both tables (don’t mind laughing but these ladies were overly loud, loving the sound of their own voices). This coupled with the thumping beat of inaudible (due to the noise level), music, made it a fairly uncomfortable Friday night out with 2 friends. Don’t think you need the music at all when the restaurant is full to bursting as the talking guests gives a great atmosphere. Cut the music 🙂

We had a lovely time at Monsoon. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Unfortunately the kitchen got my order of Chicken Jalfrezy wrong and I was served Prawn Jalfrezy. Fortunately I do not have a shellfish allergy! The staff were very kind and offered a free drink as a good will gesture for the confusion. We love Monsoon and often have birthday & anniversary celebrations here.
