Excellent food and service, our third time at the restaurant and we really enjoyed it. Atmosphere is great. Looking forward to our next visit there.

Food and service both excellent. The restaurant isn't as spacious inside as it looks from the street, though, so we were seated extremely close to a couple of moderately obnoxious business men, which is why I'm taking a point off. Lovely place, though, and I'd happily go back again.

Really enjoyed the Tapas and the choices of Gins. My partner has a wheat allergy, and just wish some items had more information. As she ordered the Cod and and squid, but it never said the dish came in batter. Ah well more for me.

Food lovely, enjoyed the steak and ribs best. wine was great...rioja...good service. Staff friendly and attentive. Will try lunch there next time. Deal looks good.

Always welcoming. Pleasant and knowledgeable waiting staff and of course, delicious food. Went for the specials and the mussels were excellent. All round so much better than Jamon Neon. Music absolutely perfect for a chilled, comfortable dining experience. They've got it so right here.

Excellent dishes, plenty of choice for me as a vegetarian. The carnivores loved it too. Friendly service and reasonable prices made for a great evening out.

Excellent Food and Excellent Service!!! What a gem of a place. The menu is varied and the dishes we chose were tasty and well presented. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The wine was divine. Have booked next visit already!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Monkey Grinder; the staff we wonderfully attentive and friendly (but not smothering), the menu was full of options which sounded delicious and what we chose didn't disappoint. We went on a Monday so it was really quiet, but I love the decor and imagine there would be a good buzz about the place when it's a little busier.

It has been some years since we have eaten Spanish cuisine, so our experience at the monkey grinder was very welcome. The menu was not a very varied one but still it was good enough and we had no complaints on what we chose for our meal. In time they could add a lot more to the menu the restaurant has only been open for 3 months. Some of the dishes I found were over priced for what you get, the drinks menu again may improve in choice. Decor is quite simple but nice, back- ground music was mixed but easy on the ears. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Worth a visit, we enjoyed our time at the monkey grinder and will return.

Service was slow, order was wrong and food was quite bland. Restaurant itself is nice inside with a good selection of drinks available. Wouldn't rush back.

Nice food, good service and excellent location. No complaints just not the best I've visited. Worth a try but I've been to better restaurants in Liverpool.

The food was lovely especially the chorizo balls we had! All the tapas in fact was delicious. The price was incredibly reasonable with the lunch deal making it a steal!! Would definitely go back to monkey grinder!

This is a great restaurant, good atmosphere, attentive staff and delicious food. The ribs and steak were particular highlights along with the chocolate brownie and coffee!

We had an excellent evening. Food and service were very good. To be really picky, the choice of desserts is limited. I would recommend the experience to anyone, though.

Very nice food, could do with a bit more space for food, on a table for 2 there wasn't much room for the food and drink we had ordered. Apart from that a very nice meal and staff all very nice too.

Great food at a reasonable price, great service, great wine! Such a lovely chilled venue to go to after a busy day in work. Would highly recommend.
