A good choice of menu - a la carte and a set menu.Excellent food and charming waiters - will definitely go again and good value for money.
Miz En Bouche is a lovely place, affordable, tasty and excellent service. Recommended - especially if you're heading onto Sadlers Wells afterwards (as it's right around the corner).
As always the service and ambience was great. The only downside this visit was the veg - they were tepid vs hot: We should have commented immediately but didn't - so we have to take our responsibility in this. I'd still recommend them to anyone.
Lovely local bistro, great food, service and ambience. Steak tartare and frites like they do it in Paris. Good wine list. And very reasonably priced.
Quaint little French restaurant. Great meal and quick and convenient for the theatre. Easy to book online. Set menu is good value but a la carte is good as well
Very good experience all round. Will go back for sure. Cosy place with good staff and the service was quick whIch was helpful as we were going to Sadler's Wells
The menu was short but varied, and thus all freshly cooked. The food was good, and the service very friendly and helpful. The building is low key and a little quirky, giving a nice informal atmosphere. Overall a very pleasant experience for five of us eating out to celebrate a birthday, and good value.
Charming bistro, good food and lovely staff!! Great little place for dinner before ballet at Sadler's Wells, literally a 2 minute walk away! Fab start to a great evening.
Miz En Bouche is utterly charming and VERY French. Fresh produce a superb chef and attention to detail. The restaurant is small and cosy but not cramped at all and the atmosphere is bustly and joyful with French attention to perfection and service and simply delicious food. The price of the set menu is incredibly good value for both two courses and three, and coupled with the al la carte menu made narrowing your choice very difficult from such a mouth-watering array. I had quite the best steak tartare I've ever had and couldn't help noticing some of the other delicious looking dishes as they made their way to other lucky tables. I consider Miz En Bouche a real find. Literally a 4 minute walk to Saddler's Wells. Having so enjoyed myself I'm going to have to return many more times to try the other dishes on the menu. In the words of a famous red guide, I can confidently say that Miz en Bouch is "worth a detour"!
The 3 course daily menu is excellent value. Choice of 3 starters, 3 main courses and cheese or a pudding. Everything we had was fresh and tasty and service was excellent. Will definitely eat here again.
Lovely restaurant, friendly staff, good food, good choice of wines & great ambience. We love going there before a show at Sadlers Wells - makes for a perfect evening
Beautiful food at decent prices and the service was friendly and quick. Perfect for a pre-theatre meal in a cosy, elegant environment. Would definitely recommend.
Great place, very good food, nice and energetic owners. The Saddler's Wells restaurant! We enjoyed our experience there and are delighted to recommend it ,on the basis of one successful tasty evening, for others to enjoy. 😃🍀🌹
Small, intimate restaurant. Friendly staff willing to speed up service (e.g. before theatre visit). Tasty food. Higher grade than other restaurants recommended by Sadlers Wells, Tables for two are cramped.
We went there for a pre theatre dinner. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, food was nice, not too expensive and served within the time we had and the service was done with a big smile. You were genuinely made feel welcome. We will be back!
This is a delightful little French restaurant conveniently located near Sadlers Wells theatre. The menu was short but varied and the food delicious. The set menu is excellent value. Service was prompt and cheerful. We had a very good meal, before a show, which was just right and thoroughly yummy! We will definitely be returning on a regular basis.
Great food and service. Creme brûlée not the best only criticism. But our waiter Levi was very polite. I would recommend fairy lights in the outdoor seating too .
Lovely ambiance near Sadlers Wells, delicious healthy salads and wine in a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended for pre theatre meal. The service was lovely and we look forward to going again!
Tasty food, quick service with a smile! We went before the theatre and had no delays, booked online on the day, would recommend to anyone!
Our seating was casual and not as comfortable as we older people require but the superb food and smiling, helpful, service more than made up for it. This is now 'our place to eat' before or after a trip to the ballet.
Fabulous food. Delicious wine. Like bed the little sausage with our aperitif! Great service. Decent prices. A little gem. So glad we found it! Definitely will go back.
Had the pre theatre menu and the food was gorgeous definitely visit again when we come to see a performance at Sadlers Wells. Good value for London as coming from Leeds usually find meals are over priced and not good but great at Miz en Bouche.
Very cosy place. We had a really nice and tasty brunch. Looking at the diner menu makes us want to come back soon! 100% recommended.
Our favourite French-style place to eat in London! Cannot wait to eat here again! Lovely Staff, fantastic food and an excellent short wine list too. Highly recommended
This really is such a stunning gem. Small. Intimate. Lovely staff. Great food. Delicious wine. And all very reasonably priced. Will definitely go again. And again.
Very pleasant staff. Unfortunate table position - very noisy- we could not hear waiter and the waiter could not hear us Food average, but not hot enough.
Booked a pre-ballet meal for 3. We were greeted warmly and seated downstairs - the benches are a bit hard - but we had lots of room to spread out. We opted for tiger prawns, a sunshine salad and sea bass and a bottle of Picpoul. Complimentary bread and butter came swiftly. The dishes came quickly - they might have been executed with a little more finesse (the sea bass was overcooked, as was the spinach cake underneath), but everything was tasty. Clafoutis and a chocolate fondant were spot on - absolutely scrummy. We got the bill quickly, which was what we needed - and were in good time for the performance. I'd go back the next time I was in that part of London.
Food we love, excellent service in a petite boîte on St. John St. Not fancy but well worth a drop-in. Can do far worse, for sure.
The restaurant is really nice and the food was very well prepared. I was able to dine in the little courtyard which was perfect for a catch up session with my friend
In somewhat cramped surroundings, good food is served at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and ready to please. Service is quick, which is helpful, if you are off to Sadlers Wells as so many of the clientele are.
This is a great little bistro with good quality food, a modestly priced wine list and excellent, friendly service. The 'Prix fixe' menu is great value, but à la carte is also well priced. Super-convenient for Sadlers Wells and highly recommended
Everything was lovely. Friendly waiter AND very good food except for my desert ( creme brulee) which was burned and I send back to the kitchen. They solved it very professionally they offered me another desert which I declined and I didn't have to pay for.
Great little restaurant that serves lovely food by very nice staff. French food but with seasonal adjustments. The three course meal set menu was very good value for money. What's not to like?!
Small, cozy, warm. Very efficient and friendly service and just a short walk from Angel. Set menu is very good value. Fish features and is delicious.
Lovely service, we felt really liked after. Comfortable atmosphere, good French music in the background. Food is delicious and not too pricey. Good drinks selection, especially wine.
service was incredibly slow. starter portion of camembert was far too small without any advance notice to encourage us to get more when waiter knew we were sharing. drinks orders not taken properly and 1 of the food orders was wrong. company made it all worthwhile but unlikely to go back anytime soon.
Fab food and great service with a good but affordable selection of wines. Will definitely be going back and would recommend for a pre-theatre meal for shows at Sadlers Wells.
Really nice food, great service, restaurant is very cosy and the owner was really friend and provide a very good surprise for my girlfriend's birthday, with a nice desert. I really recommend.
Very helpful, sensible, and friendly staff ! Good selection of french music from Spotify, and love the food. Great place for dinner before you head off for the show.
Lovely food - light and extremely tasty pre-ballet lunch. A real find for the next time we visit Sadlers Wells. A perfect celebration for daughters birthday treat.
Excellent food, but rather cramped table. Very willing staff. Convenient for Sadlers Wells. Extremely good value plus they offer decent wines by the glass. We will return!
We received a very warm welcome and excellent service throughout the evening. The menu is varied and imaginative and we dined very well. Thank you to all the staff. Our waitress was charming and very efficient.
Really cannot fault it. From the lovely greeting to the lovely food. Oh and did I mention the lovely carafe of red wine which was recommended. Would most definitely return. Thank you!
Lovely Bistro, small but very friendly, great service and excellent food at reasonable prices. Perfect for a pre-dinner meal before Sadlers Wells, just to meet friends, have a drink at the bar, great all round.
Very pretty and intimate restaurant. It wasn't an extensive menu, but that was fine and the food was gorgeous. Very sweet waiting staff too, and good value for money. However, the toilets could be better!
Went here pre theatre and nice atmosphere, attentive staff and lovely food. Price wise no quelms. Happy all round and would definitely return in the future!
We just loved this restaurant. The two young people where smiley, helpful, welcoming and efficient. Great little courtyard at the back. Wanted nearly everything on the menu. Had the snapper which was wonderful (hate cooking it myself as it is a fiddle) and the black current sorbet which was yummy and great escargots. Have already recommended it to a couple of people who are going to Sadlers Wells (4 mins walk) Could you open one South of the Park? Will definitely go again. Miles better than any of the restaurants around us in the south of France!
Nice French feel and staff. Good honest food and fast service. Great location before going to the show at Sadlers Wells. Would definitely go back
Very good pre-theatre meal for four of us. Good choices for each course and very reasonable cost at under £20pp for three courses. Heartily recommended.
Great little place. Enjoyed a pre- theatre meal. Attentive service. Delicious food and reasonably priced. My steak was too rare, so sent it back and the Chef gave it another couple of minutes- then it was perfect!
