Miyagi - Allerton Road

Great atmosphere, very busy as always. Food was great and enjoyed it. Defeniatley worth a try, always book or be prepared to be disappointed in waiting or not having a chance to eat here

Lovely atmosphere, food was amazing and a great menu to choose from. Staff also very helpful, will definitely be back again! Would recommend to anyone!

The good was lovely and the service was great. My only gripe was the noise levels. It's such a small venue that the music alongside the general noise levels is quite annoying. Can't hear yourself speak. Would definitely go back for the food though!

Love love love this restaurant. Best place on Allerton Road. Food and cocktails amazing. Sticky beef taco and blackened cod are a must to order.

Great food try the beef taco they lovely and the blackened cod, they even do childrens meals. Service was great and staff all very good.

Good atmosphere - place has been decorated in a different style - food good and varied menu - service fine - can just call for a drink also

The food was fantastic and the service was very good. There were six of us in our party and we happened to choose the hottest day of the year (so far) to go out for dinner. The restaurant is quite 'cosy' and had no air conditioning or even fans to try and break through the heat and the table we were given (booth style seating) felt cramped for 6 people (possibly due to the heat). However, the waiting staff were very quick to supply plentiful amounts of iced water to try and remedy this. This was the only aspect of our visit that stopped it being rated a 6/6. I would definitely visit again in cooler weather!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first time in miyagi. The food was delicious and the children's meals were great also. Will definitely be returning to sample other dishes. Great place

It was my second visit to your restaurant. The background music was much quieter because it was very noisy on the first time. I just feel that some explanation on your menu would help people to choose better

Delicious food as ever, chicken katsu curry was amazing! ervice was excellent and nothing was too much trouble, even allowed to take the leftovers home.

Seven of us sat for the meal, one vegetarian, good variety and choice of meals, all were very tasty, vegetarian especially pleased, a little more attention needed to service to qualify for top marks.👍

great meal. the chicken katsu curry is our favourite dish along with temoura king prawns which need to be sampled by anyone visiting miyagis restaurant. try the desserts as well

Our last visit to Myagi was not quite as good as the first, mainly because the restaurant is very noisy and it was difficult to have a conversation which marred our birthday visit a little. On the plus side, the manager honoured his promise for all those disappointed when the power failed and they had to close the restaurant, so top marks for this. Food wise, there are interesting choices on the menu, to the point that we ordered too much, but again most obligingly this was packaged up to take home. Undoubtedly Myagi will thrive as long as it gives excellent customer service like this.

We found MYAGI'S very nice food was so lovely the service was excellent, it very relaxing atmosphere too we will definitley going back would recommend it to people if they ask

Another great night at Miyagi Allerton Road. Not had anything there yet that I have not enjoyed. Very tasty and freshly prepared and AMAZING cocktails !

Fantastic food, cocktails and service! We had. A great time and would certainly recommend It. Brilliant for vegans too as the staff are very knowledgeable about the ingredients in each dish. Veg dished can be made vegan.

Went originally for the sushi and wasn't aware they had stopped serving it. Having said that, plan B of small platters were really really good.

Food was lovely but some of the food comes out at strange times. Rice at the end with the fries when you have already eaten the chicken etc

Really fantastic food, not to serious really playful and tasty. Some things have a real kick of chilli beware but the cocktails are perfect for cooling down! Ha

Amazing food and great service! the kids menu is great too, plenty to chose from and a gorgeous desert. Staff are friendly and helpful. Enjoyed every visit there and will carry on returning!

Excellent evening here. The staff are so friendly & helpful when it comes to ordering. We picked lots of small dishes to share and they were all delicious. We were too full for pudding but saw other tables having desserts & they looked amazing. Will definitely be back.

Great food and service. Wine list could have offered more choice of reds, but will be eating here again. The choice of beer was good for a local restaurant though.

Menu seems to have reduced since the franchise moved to Allerton Road. Service was slow but waitress was plesant and knowledgable about the dishes available.

Food was delicious, only disappointment was the table as it was very close to the bar. Overall though very very good and we will return!!

Fantastic food, great service, and great ambience. Thought the food was even better than the city centre restaurant. Can't wait to go back. Great value for money and the Reisling was excellent too.

The food as always was delicious. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful and the restaurant is beautiful. As this is a local place, it's great to have this on our doorstep without having to go in to city centre.

Would rather it be a restaurant or bar feel both don't work having people standing over you when they have come in for a drink

Great service, great food. Portion size is good and value for money. The tempura was crispy and the chilli beef had the perfect amount of sauce.

Went on a thursday and the restaurant was full, food was stunning, we waited at the beginning for our drinks but this was compensated with free desserts, great atmosphere, cant wait to go again.

Food was fantastic as always. The service wasn't as attentive tonight and the table we were sat at didn't make the evening as enjoyable as it could've been. Having said that, it won't stop us going back again though.

2 of us shared the tempura prawns, chilli chicken wings, blackened cod and sea bass and they were all delicious. Really good service and reasonably priced. Will definitely be going again.
