Miyagi - Allerton Road

Delicious food, would highly recommend!! Fillet steak buns were very tasty!! :)

The food was not to our taste but it was well presented and hot. The staff were friendly but the restaurant was busy and the service was a bit hit and miss. Our wine was poured in such a haphazard manner that it sloshed all over our table and glasses and we had to ask for napkins to wipe up the puddles. The guests on the next table fared worse than us as their waiter drenched them in beer! Overall, we were disappointed with the food, ambience and service so unfortunately won't be visiting again.

Enjoyed our lunch, nice staff, and lovely food, which was cooked to,perfection egg fried rice was to,die for, also enjoyed some nice Japanese beer, cant wait to book again and enjoy some more delicious food

The food was delicious (if a little bit salty), the service was fantastic. We had fab cocktails, and the surroundings were gorgeous. We would definitely go again.

Very interesting food. We were extremely please with every dish we had. The only down side to it was that the music was just a bit too loud. Perhaps some Japanese music would go well with the ambience Of the restaurant.

Another lovely meal, food tastey, different and interesting. Bento boxes have a good selection of items to try everything. Staff friendly and helpful, knowledgable about the food. Good selection of drinks.

Beautiful food and a really lively cool atmosphere. Would go again in a heartbeat. Staff were all attentive and really very friendly. And they made a very nice old fashioned cocktail too

Great atmosphere, lovely venue and the food was very good. Lots of things you recognise but with an Asian twist to them. Will definitely be back.

The food was beautiful, the service was fantastic and the whole restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. I wish there were more restaurants in Liverpool like this one.

Service was quick and friendly from start to finish. Food was great tasting and really good value. Slightly salty in parts but still good. Go again any time.

I was disappointed not to be able to get a table at this restaurant but it looked good so booked for the following week. Brilliant staff and service very friendly, great atmosphere, and to top it off the food was superb - now I know why they were booked up on my first attempt to eat there.

Fabulous evening, food was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful. The duck dumplings and sticky beef were my favourites and the veggies in the party loved the bento box. We will go back!

Very good service. Excellent food. Some of us we had a nice bottle of white wine however it could just be a bit colder. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to other friends and colleagues

Really great food and service. We had cocktails too which were all really nice and original. Highly recommend the campfire pudding which was great fun

The whole experience was great. I was a little disappointed that you could not order sushi on the day , you have to give 24 hours notice for a sushi platter. Will know for next time.

Food was amazing, so tasty especially the Bento box and the crispy beef. Kids meals were very good, both kids ate all of their meal. Service was excellent, quick and efficient, would definitely recommend

The presentation of our food was second to none, each dish was as delicious as the next. It really was great value for the quality and amount of food we had. There is something on the menu for everybody; last but certainly not least, the service was outstanding!

Gorgeous atmosphere, beautiful cocktails and lovely waiters. The food is out of this world! This is our local Japanese restaurant and we love working our way through the menu, ordering something different everytime and always delicious!

Food lovely but slightly too spicy. Over kill of spices on some dishes. Possibly a different chef as have had these dishes before and always tasted lovely.

Great food and service, lovely atmosphere and the price is reasonable. I Would highly recommend to friends and family and will go back again soon.

Marvellous food great atmosphere and very helpful with customer on crutches. Staff were attentive without being overwhelming and the range of dishes was interesting. Good local venue for a tasty meal.

Great food, reasonably priced, relaxed atmosphere. We were not rushed so had time to enjoy our surroundings. Would defiantly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a great night out.

Loved it, great vibe, staff n food. Nuff zed. Left feeling good which isn't the norm. This is what Allerton Road used to be. Very welcome.

Laksa Large is very very big. Edamame Beans are amazing. Everyone really enjoyed their food. Overall portions were big so if ordering from the soul food menu I would suggest only 2

Lovely clean restaurant ,glasses are spotless . Food is full of different flavours however we all felt there was far too much salt added to it which ruined it for all of us .

Had a lovely meal here for our wedding anniversary. Food was beautiful, and we certainly didn't go hungry! The complimentary prosecco was a lovely gesture.

Great food, gorgeous decor and atmosphere in the restaurant. Tables were a bit sticky and service a little slow, but all staff were friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food and cocktails on our night at Miyagis. A really interesting mix of dishes and enjoyed all of them. Really nicely decorated and the service from the staff was good too. Will definitely be back soon.

Good service, good atmosphere! Had only ever been to Bold St Miyagi before but Allerton Road maintained the same standard. Not a cheap meal but always good quality.

Loved the food and staff,every plate was a delight Japanese inspired dishes served with a twist.. Completely stuffed when we left ,will heartily recommend to everyone

Lovely food, nice, attentive staff. Not authentically Japanese, but tasty. The tiger prawns starter is yummy, and the yakitori is scrummy, not sure about the ramen though, needs a better stick, proper pork ramen is uncious, and has a real depth of flavour. Will go again though and try some of the other meals

The food and service was excellent and there was plenty of choice for food & drink. The only down side was that the restaurant was far to noisy.

The service was great at Miyagi Allerton Road. The waitress helped us desypher the menu and gave recommendations. The food was amazing! We really enjoyed our evening and can't wait to return again soon!

Great food try the beef taco they lovely and the blackened cod, they even do childrens meals. Service was great and staff all very good.

The food is amazing, the atmosphere hustly & bustly and the cocktails fabulous. I've been back twice since and my friends now love it!!! Thanks

The good was lovely and the service was great. My only gripe was the noise levels. It's such a small venue that the music alongside the general noise levels is quite annoying. Can't hear yourself speak. Would definitely go back for the food though!

Excellent food and service especially at Christmas time when it was busy. Definitely worth trying if you enjoy Asian food which is a bit different

Love love love this restaurant. Best place on Allerton Road. Food and cocktails amazing. Sticky beef taco and blackened cod are a must to order.
