The food here is so good! I'd read good things about it and it completely lived up to and exceeded all expectations. The decor is lovely and all the staff are very professional. They have modernised Turkish food without taking away from it. The meat is great quality and every part of each course was spot on. Very impressed and will definitely be coming back here again. Perfect for a special occasion or date night.
We have been there first time for birthday meal, Amazing food and service very helpful many thanks to everyone. will be back again. (Steak and salmon most great one in the menu. )
Another great evening at a great restaurant, lovely food & great service This really is a gem of a restaurant in Southgate, if you haven't been give it a go there is such a varied menu something to suit everyone.
Amazing food, lovely ambience, great service, will recommend this place to all my friends and family members. Had the best time. Thank you and keep the great service going...
Good food, good service. Would recommend. Setting and location good. Excellent selection of food and drinks. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Good value too
Super friendly service, great menu and very tasty food! Now planning to try out their weekend Prosecco brunch next bank holiday weekend with the family
Great hosts. A lovely evening and such good value we will be back very soon. West end service at local prices. Well done Mesa ...just what Southgate needed.
The food was nice but portions are quite small and overpriced. There is supposed to be a customer car park but it wasn't open. If you want to sit in the outdoor lounge you need to go after 4, we weren't aware of this and it was a very hot day and the area indoors has no air con.
The staff were helpful, friendly and well trained, while the food was excellent. Not being in the main area of Southgate maybe why the restaurant was quiet on a Saturday night. I would certainly recommend Mesa Kitchen and plan to go there again.
Lovely food and a great atmosphere with friends :) only downside it’s a struggle to find parking!
A lovely evening celebrating friends birthdays , lovely food & wine & very attentive staff Was a little warm with heating / air-conditioning on but was adjusted when asked Fully recommend this restaurant for any occasion
Food was delicious and good varied menu. Crab cake starter excellent. Lamb shish succulent. Could do with a bit more atmosphere in the restaurant. Not very busy for a Friday evening.
Amazing food and drinks we were a party of 6 and we all loved it. Staff were friendly, highly recommended. I would definitely go back again.
Excellent food and service. I had a medium lamb shish, cooked medium. The meat was nice and tender. The feta samosas were also great as a starter
Classy restaurant with fantastic starters, fresh ingredients finely cooked. My adana was a tad over cooked and should be a little more juicy. Service was very well done with attentive and polite waiters. A little improvement here and there, mainly on main dishes will ensure a complete experience. Hope the restaurant does well as longevity is key. I’ll definitely be visiting again.
Had a great experience at Mesa Lounge. Food, service and ambience was good. Food also arrived promptly and our waiter was attentive throughout our meal
Service was warm and friendly, atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. Food was delicious, very tasty and well presented. would definitely go again and even recommend to people.
Food was ok but the ambience was destroyed by a gobby family nearby. The restaurant was empty apart from this family and the waiter decided we should be seated right next to them. We won’t be returning.
Absolutely loved it there! Amazing food, atmosphere and service. Really happy. We went with the family for mother’s day and my mum was really happy she really enjoyed it there.
Our second visit, first went after it opened and now having returned it is even better, the food was excellent, good choices and really well presented, staff very attentive but not intrusive, on arrival was given a choice of tables. We will be recommending the Mesa Kitchen to our friends and returning.
Great decor, good service and food and reasonably priced. Downside our table was near back door and was freezing. We all (8) had our coats on all eve.
Excellent food, very tasty, good portion size. Service was very good waiters were attentive. Ambience and decor very nice. We would definitely eat here again.
Great food beautiful restaurant - real atmosphere. Perfect for a date or a group meal - friendly staff and lovely shisha lounge in the back!
Overall good, it is never completely fair trying a restaurant for the first time on Valentine's Day, as Mesa like most restaurants had a set menu with fewer choices. However my first course, the scallops was outstanding. Looking forward to going back when the weather improves and eating in their lovely outside space.
Nice ambiance and art work on the wall. Had grilled steak which was seared very well and had charcoal taste. Sides are generous portion size too.
Great restaurant and service Very calm Waiters always there to help Very good pricing Would recommend to anyone to go Nice and quiet Great food
Quiet Monday evening dinner with friends. We had Good quality simple food and friendly service. Nice setting too. The price was very reasonable and was good value.
Great place great food great vibe. A winner of a restaurant. Service superb food excellent will be back again very soon. Thank you for a great night
Really good choice to have a dinner. Nice a cozy atmosphere. Very attentive waiters. Especially Mr. ARTHUR, the manager, made our night perfect. Highly recommend this place.
Came here for my hubbys birthday Food and service was great would definitely go again. Prices are very reasonable would definately recommend to friends and family
Good service, good food. We ate Turkish themed dishes and found them excellent. Friendly and attentive service. Music was too loud and inappropriate, room was too dark.
Great service & delicious food. We both had steaks and they were perfectly cooked. My only criticism was it was quite dark where our table was so would ask for a different table next time! Will definitely recommend & go back soon!
First time here after it changed from Green’s, that was there before. Absolutely delicious meal. My husband had the roast burger which was SO good, a different take on a traditional burger. My children had an adult cheeseburger between them, I had a taste and it was one of the best burgers I’d tasted in a while! I had the sea bass which was delicious. We had the Jaffa bomb for dessert, it was fantastic the way the caramel melted the chocolate. They have decorated it really nicely. Friendly, helpful staff.
lovely restaurant, great cocktails and high class atmosphere. Very attentive staff and great presentation of food. Decor is gorgeous. I'd say this place is ideal for date night
Great food, excellent variation on the menu, catering for all taste, the different menus for the times of the day are excellent, a great refurbishment and a well laid out garden area for better days
Overall experience was great. Staff very attentive and friendly. Ambiance good. Food lovely - only slight complaint was we waited quite a long time for our main course - but when it arrived it was great. Will come again and would recommend to others. 😃
good menu & wine list, great food & service! I had the scallops to start & my husband the king prawns, both delicious! The seabass & steak was also so tasty, lovely South African Chenin Blanc too!
I have been visiting 52 The High St for the past six years and this is the third restaurant to occupy the building. It is worth a visit just to admire the newly enlarged and refurbished building that no longer looks like a pub. I was apprehensive if the food would live up to its surroundings, especially since the previous two restaurants had set a high standard. So far the family have only sampled a small amount of the menu, the burgers and Turkish dishes were of a high standard as was the starters and house trimmings. My only small complaint is that on my first visit the Sea Bass was server with too much potato and not enough vegetable.
