Fabulous food, friendly and excellent service. Beer offering could be more extensive however it did not disappoint any members of the party during the evening. Menu choice is spot on and would suggest offering a sharing platter as a starter a good addition.

Food here is always fantastic. We come every time we’re in town. Love the fact that dogs are allowed. Great, relaxed atmosphere and swift service.

Interesting menu, food delicious, price reasonable, room cheery. Good spot both for lunchtime snack or supper in the evening. Fills quickly, best to book, especially in summer.

Great service. Speedy but without feeling that they were wanting your table. Delicious food. The pork wontons for starter were nice but a little over cooked for me. Scrumptious desserts and really enjoyed my lamb burger from the specials board. Will definitely be back

Excellent service and friendly staff. Interesting menu. No chips here! Mains of meatballs and corn fritters. Only criticism could have been more meatballs. Desserts were only ok. Quite dry sticky toffee pudding and the meringue on the posset was not homemade.

Loved the steak and peppercorn sauce! Service was quick and efficient. Lovely servers who were polite and welcoming. Pleasant decor and music. Creates welcoming ambience.

Very tasty food served by friendly cheerful staff. Tables a little small as the premises operate as a cafe during the day. Trout particularly good. Tasted very fresh.

The restaurant was quaint and had a high number of clientel. The staff were very polite and the food was excellent and served without significant delay.

Food was amazing, always is and it didn't disappoint this time!! I can personally recommend the tempura prawn tacos to start. Amazing. Lovely atmosphere and better food.

Have eaten here on numerous occasions so an easy choice for supper. Installation of the cake stall means the downstairs seating is cramped. Almost sitting on the lap of the person next to us and they were on a different table. Suffice to say that your entire conversation will be heard by two other couples... take a table out!!! Food was up to expectation as was the Malbec. Will definitely book again out of season, but will now avoid at busy times purely for seating arrangements - sorry!

The second time we've visited - still serving very tasty food in a pleasant informal atmosphere. The service is excellent. Recommend the caramelised lemon posset.

Thought it was expensive for style and quality of food. All seemed pretty prepared and just assembled to serve. Wouldn't go out of our way to go again.

Friendly small, good range of fusion food, attractive decor but that makes it noisy upstairs. Maximum table size for groups is 6 upstairs. Small tables and quieter downstairs

We had arranged a social event but were merely using this as an excuse to eat cake and drink coffee. The staff were attentive and friendly; coffee and cakes were yummy. We’ll be back.

This was a first visit for my partner and I. The food was absolutely delicious and there was a good range choice, from the main menu and the specials board. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to others. We will certainly be dining there again, very soon.

My family and I always make sure we visit Merienda when we go to Keswick, whether it's for coffee and cake, or a meal, excellent food and service again.

Food quality was OK, but could have been hotter. Ambiance is again OK. Service was good and attentive. Value for money is what gave it only a 4.

Informal and friendly with a great choice of food to suit most tastes. On our last visit I had a brisket burger which was very good . Keep your receipt and you get 10% off on your next visit .

A friendly cafe/bistro offering unsophisticated but well-prepared dishes in generous portions. We were seated upstairs (mostly couples downstairs) on a quiet October evening but were well looked after.

This restaurant does not disappoint. The food is fresh and creative, and delicious. The staff are efficient and friendly. The ambiance is cozy. We visit every time we are in Keswick.

A warm welcome but was sat near kitchen and an open door. Wasn't cold but didn't look nice. Food was good. Down side was dog sat by next table, smelt horrid. One waitress was stroking the dog each time she passed, I hope she washed her hands!

Good flavours, good service and a nice atmosphere make this a place we shall return too. Servings were generous, and was the best meal during our week in Keswick.

My husband and I had a lovely meal at the Merienda in Keswick. The service from the staff was great they were friendly and helpful. We had a constant supply of table water which was much needed after a full day of walking. My husband had the special steak burger which came with chunky sweet potato chips, I had the trout they were both great.. we didn't have room for dessert but they looked delicious and a very generous size! We had espressos to finish and they were full bodied and particularly good.. definitely worth a visit.

The meal was excellent with a very varied menu choice for both meat eaters and vegetarians. We spent an enjoyable evening in a relaxing atmosphere.

Food was good but we were sat upstairs and the atmosphere was non existent. The service was also very poor partly I presume because we were say upstairs. It felt like it was our waiters first night as he didn't seem to know what he was doing.

Food and service fantastic as ever. The quality of the food is excellant with a good selection of dishes to tempt. We always look forward to visiting every time we visit Keswick. This is our favourite restaurant.

Had a lovey meal with attentive service and an enjoyable atmosphere. Only complaint would be that the meals were fairly expensive for what they were, although it must be noted that Keswick is not a cheap area.
