Enjoyable lunch with good choice on festive menu. Hot food served hot! Good service but lacking atmosphere as almost empty which surprised us.

Food cold- had to send back twice. This is not the first time this has happened.

They staff were very welcoming and service was great. Was my son’s birthday and they bought out a chocolate mouse with a candle but kept it low key, just what a 13 year old needs to feel special! Thanks very much

Music was a Bit loud, but they turned it down when we asked. One waitress very friendly the other not quite so. Draughty when front door was opened. Food excellent. Would definitely recommend.

We just had a lovely meal and all the staff were just lovely!! Particularly our waitress who also has a chocolate addiction! Have been there quite a few times and it’s always good!!

This time the booking was for my Sons birthday. He went with friends and had a fantastic meal - lovely birthday treat!

Very pleasant visit; food; and service. They gave us a scoop of ice cream with a candle to celebrate our Father's birthday, which was a nice touch.

The service and good is good. However, I did notify the restaurant of my yeast cheese mushroom and pork allergies, yet they failed to help me access the lunch menu deal. In fact the young lady who took my order could have asked the chef to adapt a starter dish from the set lunch but she didn’t. She then made it seem that as I was allergic to the few starter items on the set lunch menu, I could swap for certain items from the ala carte. Well this was not The case as, once the bill came the staff insisted that even though I have allergies they couldn’t just swap one item for another and so I had to pay full price for my two courses.

Really enjoyed our meal at Melange. The service was very good and the food was lovely. Melange is the best place to eat on Barnet high street.

Rather disappointing. Waited ages for table. Waffles were raw. No one checked to see how the food was until we asked for the bill. No offer to make amends.
