Always enjoy a meal at Melange, nice atmosphere, good food and lovely friendly staff. The arrival of Melange in Barnet is a very welcome one as we were lacking in decent places to eat, would recommend to anyone who fanices a change.

Nice cocktails. Nice food. Nice wine. Nice service. However having eaten there several times in the last six months it is time the menu changed.

Food is delicious and lovely place with nice lighting. Friendly staff. Could be more vegetarian choice however otherwise it'd be a 6. Yummy cocktails specially the raspberry!

We went for Sunday lunch, with our friends' 9 month year old. Nice buzzy but relaxed atmosphere, all four of us (adults) very happy with our food.

Good atmosphere, pleasant, profession staff. All courses fir three adults and. Toddler were well.presented and tasty. We were even allowed to 'design' our own dish to suit a vegetarian. Only thing else I would suggest is yo offer a set menu gir Sunday lunch.

An excellent lunch with friendly and attentive service with a big smile. This is the second time I have had lunch and dinner on a previous occassion. I highly recommend Malenge in Barnet

This was my first visit to Melange in Barnet, my friend and I had a lovely 3 course set meal which was cooked to perfection, the service was friendly and efficient and was good value for money, we shall definitely return.

We introduced our friends to this restaurant. They were very impressed and definitely would be returning. We all had a lovely meal and the cocktails and wine choice were also very good.

Excellent food, reasonable prices and good service. Have now been 3 times, tried different dishes each time and enjoyed all of them. What's not to like ?

Staff were very friendly, prices were okay for the food. Would recommend for a visit once in a while, seating could have been more comfortable and tables more spacious

The service and atmosphere was good. The food was delicious with larger portions than we anticipated. Along with vegetable side orders we ended up having more than we could eat!

The food was lovely and the service was unobtrusive. However, after waiting for the bill for 20 minutes without success, it was a little rude to be told that we had to vacate the table in 5 minutes time.

I have visited Melange a couple of times before. It never fails to impress. Great food, attentive staff, lovely atmosphere. Definitely will be returning for the prosecco cocktails!

We find the quality of the food and service consistently good at this neighbourhood joint of ours, but on Mother's Day we were pleasantly surprised by the special menu with superior dishes, and at similar prices to usual. The fresh passionfruit mousse dessert was divine.

We recently celebrated my Mother's 70th birthday at Melange. The staff were welcoming, extremely helpful and attentive (without being intrusive) to ensure the evening was a success. A lovely evening was had by all. The food was delicious, dishes were well executed and a good choice on the menu to satisfy each of the diners. We will definitely be returning soon!

Melange is a very reliable and consistent High St restaurant - food is consistently good and excellent service. Good selection of specials and a solid, if slightly limited wine list. Highly recommended.

First visit to Melange and a really good experience. Our party of seven arrived a bit late but they were very accommodating and welcoming. The waitress was great, the food was great ( I had a lovely whole sea bass) and the wine flowed. We were the last to leave !

Great food and service....if a little expensive, especially deserts. Steak night was fab, rib eye to die for, melt in the mouth. Portions generous, would recommend.

Great value local restaurant; food is consistently good with friendly and efficient service. Can highly recommend the 2 course and 3 course menu deals. It has become a favourite for mid-week get togethers with friends.

My 4th visit ! Relaxed atmosphere , good food and wine selection with friendly & attentive staff . Whether it's a dinner date or an informal catch up with friends there is something for everyone ! Recommended !

Very good food, well priced, although the prawn starter would have benefitted from more garlic and less wine. Also sour bread is the wrong accompaniment. Nice atmosphere'with willing staff. Not really for families. Reservations recommended.

Good food and table service downside is the number of tables they squeeze in including right infront of the door and you get the feeling they can't wait to get you out so they can get some more bums on seats.

Love this new addition to Barnet. Friendly staff and good quality feshly made food. The menu has something for everyone and there is always plenty of variety. I particularly like the fact that they give you water on the table without having to ask and the staff are attentive without being pushy. A regular haunt for us whether it be with friends, family or just for coffee.

We booked a family meal at Melange on a Friday evening. Right from the start the service was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. The food was also well cooked - for starters we really enjoyed the fried calamari, which was tender. For our main course I ate rare sirloin steak and my wife tried the lamb shank, which was also well cooked and well presented. The portions were also large. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Thoroughly recommend this place for an enjoyable night out with family and friends.

Had a table for 2 but the table was too small - we had to put wine and water on floor to allow room for plates and sides. The food was good though

Nice contemporary restaurant; great food; GREAT cocktails; 1 point short of perfect for having not quite fully trained staff working on a BUSY Friday evening and the tables are a little small. Will definitely go back.

Love this new local restaurant. Great atmosphere with really good food and delicious wine. Their staff are friendly and efficient without being overbearing. Always worth a visit just make sure you book!

Went to the barnet branch. Food was fantastic. Not a massive menu but definitely enough of a varied choice Quality of food is exceptional. Service was also satisfactory

Had a fantastic steak there and the atmosphere was excellent. Went on Steak Thursday, so they offered 2 steak meals and a bottle of wine for £40 - excellent value. Will be back.

Very pleasant restaurant, a great atmosphere, food was average ,quite large portions, good value for money, the service a bit lax, overall a nice experience .
