Melange - Crouch End

Decent food, but placed at table at entrance and window which was COLD. Had to wear our jackets!

As usual Melange never disappoints. Our local favourite restaurant. Food and service excellent.

Melange has been a favourite of ours for many years and since its refurb it hasn't lost its charm, friendliness and good food

This place is great for a brunch! Really generous, delicious portions for a really great price. Also really love the interesting selection of teas outside of your standard coffee/tea selection. I have been here a few times now and on our last booking we reserved a table for 12(!) and a whole bunch of our party were considerably late - the staff were exceptionally accommodating of this, although this our 12 food orders then did take a little longer than I would have liked (but hey, there were 12 of us and I had been sat there for a while so it was probably just me!)

Melange is always solid and this visit was no exception and we really enjoyed the food. However, the new set up has arm chairs at the central tables, which were so uncomfortable we decided to just have a main course instead of 2 or 3.

We booked a table for 6 for lunch. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. Good atmosphere. Restaurant was busy and appeared to run smoothly. Would recommend.

The food was fabulous (as always). We found the wine a bit sharp, but again we went for an inexpensive option. We like the atmosphere there. Pity they removed the tv with the Charlie Chaplin films, were quite looking forward to that, I think it used to add a bit of flair to the ambience.

The restaurant was full and I was very glad we had booked. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. There were four of us in the party, we had different dishes and everyone enjoyed their meal. We ordered sides of carrots and french beans which were exceptionally good and generous helpings. We will be returning.

The cutest little spot for a weekend brunch, perfect poached eggs, had the eggs royale! delicious will keep coming back to taste the entire menu! Would highly recommend it !!!!!

Delicious food as always! I had the chicken with a mushroom sauce and then Verne brûlée and my friend had the seared cod and chocolate fondant. The wine was perfectly chilled and good value. Pleasant atmosphere and very attentive waiter. Will definitely go back.

Good food, good service. Nice atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Tables a bit close together. Very difficult to park nearby which is obviously not a fault of the restaurant but did affect our overall experience. Would go again
