Good and service is great. Atmosphere is nice. Really love this restaurant. Keep going back for more. We would highly recommend it. Food is delicious

excellent service and very good food-atmosphere always good -will go again-we had to leave by a certain time and they were fully aware of this and made sure we were in good time - not all restaurants do this

Nice food, nice place, good service. Tables very close together. Main meal requires you to add extras so becomes expensive. Would return. More words to reach minimum.

The restaurant is not as big as I imagined from pictures I saw on the website, but it was not too small. The seats are not too squashed. The lights were too dim for reading the menu, especially when you forget to bring your glasses and in the evening. But the food were very good, all of us enjoyed our dishes, sea bream, rib eye steak and sirloin steak. I ordered prawns as my appetisers but I could not believe it they just cooked the whole prawns with shells on and with the gut still in! I was a little disappointed that the menu does seem as exciting as they make you believe from their website or facbook page. But we were all happy with our food.

Enjoyed a very nice meal from set Valentine's Day menu. Unfortunately my side dish was forgotten but as a gesture of good will we were given a complimentary side and coffees. Plus service charge was waived. So we left very happy and will return again soon.

I know this restaurant quite well. On this occasion, the service was a bit slow, probably because they were pretty busy and the dish that I had was good but not as good as when I've had it previously. However, this won't stop me from going back.

Steaks were great. Sea bass a bit fussy service very good but we won't ask for anything off menu again Lovely warm place. Busy and noisy but in a good way.

Melange is a popular and favourite restaurant to visit in Crouch End. Excellent steaks and seafood with friendly and attentive service. We had starter, main meal and two bottles of wine between four, which worked out at £35 each.

Lively but intimate restaurant with excellent service and fabulous food. The steak in particular was terrific, and our Icelandic Head Waiter was a perfect host - definitely recommended, but book ahead!

Very good service, atmosphere and tasty food. Only disappointments: pickled olives instead of properly preserved in olive oil or brine, a very poor and unimaginative, too pricy dessert (apple tart).

The food, wine and service were all good. We enjoyed it, it is a good local eat. The portions were good size too. I really liked my starter prawns.

Please tell ,friendly cosy restaurant with a good menu and reasonable prices. There were 8 of us having the festive lunch menu and everyone agreed that it was a good choice.

Excellent service, and a very good steak. It does have the slight feel of a chain but that didn't bother me as the food more than made it up for it. It's good to see a business thriving there as it was always as difficult space to fill. Would go back

The service was impeccable, loved this Charlie Chaplin movie being played on the project. Great spot for people watching too. Calamari was immense as was flat bread and chicken caesar. My mistake was overindulging on starters. Still managed a lovely sirloin and the creme caramel with a macchiato. Me and my girlfriend loved every mouthful. Plus the waitress is from Burnley. Winner.

Our two children, who are very fussy eaters and our houseguests all 3 of which are vegetarians were all very well looked after, thank you

Firm favourite restaurant in Crouch End. Book ahead as always busy. Great food and in particular their steaks which are always lovely. Good service, nice atmosphere. We will be back.

Excellent steak and the wine was good. Service was good and the atmosphere especially nice for a date/ couples if you're looking for a quiet place to go in the evening.

Good food, helpful staff, buzzy atmosphere (but not too noisy). Could do without the screen however which might be ok during the day while having coffee but was an unwelcome distraction in the evening.

There were 4 of us for the early evening set menu and the food was delicious. The leather seating against the far wall was comfortable with enough space between other diners. The restaurant got quite busy around 8 pm. The staff are friendly and hard working. Lovely evening, thank you

Cosy atmosphere. Nice decor. Modern and clean WC. Friendly staff that were accommodating when we asked for another table. Top notch seafood linguine! All in all, a pleasant experience and would recommend it.

There was a wide selection on the menu and the food was really tasty and very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly, the service was quick and there was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. I thoroughly recommend Melange.

Very good.friendly staff. Thought the garlic butter on the steak was a little unadventurous. Perhaps they could do a Roquefort butter like Cote. Pleasant evening out,would go again.

Food was excellent - especially the calamari & scallop starters. Duck main was incredible as was the Malbec we had with it. Nice atmos in the restaurant and staff v attentive. Second time visiting and will happily go again

Attentive staff & delicious food & drinks at a reasonable price. We love it here when visiting friends in London as has a cosy atmosphere.

This is my favourite restaurant in Crouch End. The food is very nice and the waiters very friendly. I'm definitely going to be back there very soon.

Very friendly and helpful servers and an interesting menu. The crab mayonnaise starter was a little too subtle for me but the steak was tasty and beautifully cooked. Reasonable bill too!

Always happy to eat at Melange. Food is reliaby good and service very friendly and efficient. My only criticism is that they tend to over salt everything but it is fine if you simply ask them not to add salt. The atmosphere is busy without being noisy which is a great bonus. You can actually go there to chat with your friends over a nice meal. Remains my favourite Crouch End eatery.

Great service, great food and a great atmosphere. All in all I was extremely satisfied with the whole experience. Our waiter was very helpful when talking about allergens aswell.

As usual the atmosphere was excellent & friendly. Simple but very stylish decor. The staff were VERY attentive and accommodating to my guests food requests. The food was superb and one of my guests from Leeds commented that when in London next she would book another visit to Melange as she had eaten the best Crab cake she had ever tasted. Being a Vegetarian, the food options were varied & DELICIOUS. EXCELLENT as usual !!!

Minor issues: they couldn't mix a simple orange juice and lemonade. No alcohol free drinks. Salmon was over cooked. I don't get the large screen running B+W film. Otherwise lovely

The food was lovely at a reasonable price with good service. The only reason I rate it 5 rather than 6 is because the wine was average. I will definitely be visiting again though.

Lovely, wonderful food and drinks. Only slight annoyance was that they did that thing of trying to clear all plates while one of us was still eating. Otherwise, good service as well.

love it love it!! The food is usually very good (I had the tuna steak...& although i ate a lot of it, it wasn't really cooked enough in the middle for me - i asked if they could just quickly pan fry it for a few seconds..no problem at all they said. they came back with a whole new peice done to perfection!!!) The main reason we go though is because the staff are amazing! - friendly and attentive. Always our first choice of restaurant.
