Mela - Harborne

Great food as always, with a good selection of meat and vegetarian options. The staff friendly and attentive throughout and the restaurant as usual had an enjoyable atmosphere. Will be returning soon.

Mela was fabulous. the food and service was as good as ever. However, there was no record of my booking through Quandoo Luckily there was an available table.

The food was really tasty and the staff were friendly and it was very fast service great night out by us and our friends will visit again

Very good food and extremely friendly atmosphere and service. Would recommend to anyone wanting a nice curry that is not overpriced but thankfully does not have lots of Saturday night drunk people

The food was excellent, delicious and fresh. The waiters were polite and well informed of the menu. We would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

The food is really nice, not too pricey & always large portions, I have the chicken hyderabadi & I love it. The drinks are always a little flat, I don't think they keep their fizzy in fridges so it always tastes a bit off. Overall though a good experience and it is our regular Indian restaurant now.

Good food and friendly service, if slightly frantic when it was busy on a Saturday night. There was no pressure to finish and go and staff took the time to chat at the end of the meal. Would return.

Service was quite slow but food was lovely as ever. Staff always pleasant and good at recommendations. Small venue do can get quite noisy with big parties especially.

The atmosphere was nice. The food was good and service was also good. Husbands masala fish did lack a bit of flavour but mine was nice and flavoursome.

Staff very friendly, the starter which was a platter was very good, nan bread very nice, rice and curry dishes was delicious. We will return

I went there twice (once with friends and last time with my parents) and it was always great! The food is delicious and the staff is really friendly. I think the price-quality ratio is quite good and I strongly recommend this restaurant since I will most propably come back.

Exceptionally good food, excellent surroundings, attentive staff and reasonably priced. A gem of a find, definitely visiting the best curry restaurant in Harborne again. Thoroughly recommended.

Pleasant cosy surroundings, comfortable seating, linen tablecloths, excellent service - one of the waiters was particularly welcoming and could not to enough for us, and above all delicious food.

A pleasant and relaxed environment to catch up with friends. The staff were extremely polite, patient and good-humoured and the food was wonderful. Excellent service!

Excellent dining experience.... Food was gorgeous and service very attentive and efficient. We went on a busy Saturday night but everything was perfect. Good prices for excellent night out, we will be back!!

Food was excellent, as always, but there seems to have been a change of management/staff. The normally friendly and helpful service was missing. This has been our first choice restaurant for years, we may try some of the other places to see what they are like.

Excellent food and service. No fuss or hassle. Waiter remembered who ordered what. Very high standard throughout. BYOB an exclent feature we will use next time
