Great atmosphere, lovely food and the waiting staff were very friendly

the only issue was tables were a little close to each other; we could have been a table of 4 not 2 which is a little off putting

Food was good but staff were rude. We had the table until 8 which was fine but from 7.40 they continually harassed us to leave and several times thrust the card machine at us to pay interrupting our conversation despite us asking for a few minutes. Felt really rushed they even moved our table whilst we were still sitting there. Not good customer service at all.

Food was good. Although the bruschetta was missing any sort of basil had been described in the menu as having pesto. The steak was good and the salmon too. The wine was good and the lemon cheesecake was lovely. The staff however, could improve themselves. There was enough of them, but no one asked if we wanted water, or whether our food was ok. The waiter who served us did so without even making eye contact. We felt that maybe we weren’t glamorous or young enough to warrant a warmer communication. Felt a bit invisible be honest. The bill came to Round £90 so we paid £100 in all with a service charge. It could have been a much better experience with a bit of warmth from the staff and a bit more attentive service. Food, as I said was good. Almost. Not sure if we would go again 🤷‍♀️

Food was good but I do think the waiting staff need more experience. One boy was particularly good in that he knew how to serve prosecco correctly. One girl was particularly bad. And one young lady commented that I had "glitter all over me and that would be her nightmare " Not what you want to hear from waiting staff on your birthday night out. I'd go again but maybe in 6 months when the staff are more experienced.

Came with two friends, a first visit for all of us, had a lovely evening, food was excellent and reasonably good value, music a little loud as a few big groups in there and lots of loud chatting to be heard above music but no real problem. Service was a little slow but understandable as they were really busy, again not a real problem. Lovely pleasant staff

My fourth time in Marley’s. Food is always the best and such a wonderful atmosphere in there. My favourite Hornchurch restaurant!

Love the decor very nice didn’t think much of the prawn starter prawns very chewy and the batter on the squid was falling of but the mains was very nice will come back for brunch

First time to Marleys. Nice food but prices tend to fluctuate a lot. The choc bombé dessert is far cheaper in the prestigious Ivy and at £11.90 is extortionate. The waiting staff are enthusiastic and pleasant but need training as to table etiquette as nobody should be collecting your plates whilst others at the table are still eating. It is so rude and what you would expect in a cafe. The overall experience is pleasant. I think it is ok, but needs a bit of fine tuning. My coffee was boiling hot, just as I like it, but my husband said his burger was cold. All a bit hit and miss.

I booked for a dinner with 2 other friends. This was the first time we had visited and it did not disappoint. The service was really good and they were all really friendly and the food was amazing. We were not rushed and were able to finish our drinks and chat when we had finished our food. We will def be back.

Food was lovely, generous portions too and the waitresses friendly and polite.
