Fabulous food as always. Desserts especially so, the chocolate and passion fruit was spectacular. Only critisism would be about serving coffee in drinking glasses without handles.

Lovely restaurant really has a French vibe. Food fantastic. Plat du jour fab idea. Highly recommended will definitely go again. People with bad mobility should request an upstairs table as there is a staircase which is fairly steep.

Pleasant surroundings and very nice waitress. Food was ok but not as French as I expected! Wine quite expensive. Would give it another try though!

Food and service are always excellent and the menus are different each week. Michael and Richard run a friendly restaurant and you’re always made to feel very welcome. Cassie, of course, is wonderful 😊 we look forward to seeing her every time we go

Wonderful. We had the swordfish. Beautifully cooked and the sauce was delicious. The opera cake for afterwards rounded off a fab meal out. Thank you.

We had a three course meal. Starters were excellent as was one of the sweets. Main course of venison pie tasty but one or two chewy bits. Crepe suzette wasn't right at all - heavy bitter orange sauce came with it.

Quaint little French restaurant with a limited menu. Service and staff were wonderful and food was rather good but could be a problem for fussy eaters. Tried food we wouldn't normally have chosen which actually added to the experience.

The whole experience was positive from the welcome to the excellent cuisine. The food was delicious, due I was told to the fact that they always use homegrown produce. I am going again soon.

Found this place on Trip Advisor and what a quaint little place it is. Cannot believe that this little gem is more or less right on our very own doorstep. Lovely inside and your made to feel welcome straight away. The food was FANTASTIC and very reasonably priced. Cannot rate this place highly enough and will be visiting very soon.

I can't recommend The Market Kitchen highly enough, staff are really friendly, food is simple but well cooked and the atmosphere is relaxed. We have a house in France and the whole experience is very authentic and gives you the impression that you could be sat in a French bistro in France especially when sat upstairs

Great service, unique small restaurant. Only had three things to choose from for starts and three main would of liked more to choose from. Mains came out a bit to bland, but easily sorted with table salt.
