Mar y Terra hosted my husband's birthday dinner and it was such a blast. The service was amazing and the team was great with accommodating our requests. Will always come back!
Such lovely food and service. We will definitely go there again.
Staff were very accommodating and the food was authentic. Lovely courtyard garden at the back
Great food, lovely service, feels just like in a traditional Spanish places. Have been back a few times!
Relaxing atmosphere, tasty food, excellent service and staff, good value
Very nice visit. Portions are large for tapas, so we ordered less. Fantastic food. My wife ordered a rice and shellfish dish, which was cooked from scratch, taking 35 mins but what a difference. Great Sangria and desserts. Friendly staff. Thanks to all there.
Great atmosphere and food! We would definitely go back! :-(
It was a birthday treat for my niece. Food/service all excellent and a great atmosphere. Will definitely go again.
I love this place. It was a Monday, so quiet. Usually you have to book if you want to get in. I love the food and the authentic atmosphere. And they have great wines too.
Lovely to have the garden space in fine weather. All good!
Pleasant evening with friend, and on the whole not to noisy for conversation, despite aparty booking nearby.
Lovely food. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Fast and efficient service.
Brilliant and authentic spanish restaurant. Hasn’t changed in years thankfully!
Great visit on a very hot day. Very welcoming staff making wonderful Sangria. They have a lovely garden in the back. The restaurant was cool despite the heat. Food was delicious. The best sardines we have eaten, crisp salad and great selection of tapas. Really felt we were on holiday in Spain. Many thanks to all the staff.
Been coming here for years. The food is authentic and very tasty. The service is great and the staff are friendly and welcoming. It's a bit off the beaten track but worth the effort to get there.
We were a group of 4 looking for somewhere not too far from Waterloo with an outdoor eating area with some shade and not on a road. I had been here before so suggested it as a venue. Everyone was very happy with my choice and we had a lovely evening. The courtyard is a perfect spot on a hot summer evening.
Unpretententious, friendly Cataln restaurant where the focus is on great food.
Very nice food tucked away in a small back street
Food and service were great! I highly recommend the tortilla española.
Great experience, excellent value and super reasonableness portion. Will recommend for a traditional Spanish cuisine.
Authentic tapas from a non-chain with very fresh ingredients. Very good service.
A quiet and long lunch. It was a Monday so only 2 other people came into the restaurant while we were there.
Fantastic food and friendly service. The best tortilla in London!
Fantastic food and wine, great service, in a relaxed setting
Super food, great service, excellent Albarino, a great place to visit
Great food. Excellent service. Can’t fault anything. I’d go again
Always a great place to meet for dinner. A cheery welcome from the staff and very good food. Can’t be beaten!
Great food and atmosphere with a wide range of tapas options . Very popular and busy.
This is a true hidden gem of London! We love food, we love restaurants, and this was the best tapas we have ever tasted.
Excellent and tasty supper with helpful and attentive service. Well worth visit
Just love this place... always delivers! Great food, company and atmosphere!
Underwhelming. Service that is on the ambivalent side of friendly. Dishes are not particularly freshly/individually cooked. Portions quite meagre. Not somewhere I would return to or recommend.
It's just a lovely little restaurant. One of our favourites.
Excellent atmosphere, authentic and brilliant service. Good location once you know its there
Best service for a long time!! Cannot fault. The taste of each tapa was absolutely delicious. Only, the portion size could have been a tiny bit bigger. But other than that we (a group of 7)had a fabulous time and hope to be back soon.
This is the best tapas I've eaten in London. If I'm meeting someone in the area, it's my first choice for lunch or supper.
Food was great but still pricey for very small portions. All dishes could have been served hotter. Croquettes were hot but sardines, tortilla and fabada although cooked were just luke warm by the time they got to the table.
One of the best spanish restaurants in London. The chickpeas are to die for.
Excellent food, all arrived very quickly and quality was excellent. There were some language challenges with 1 staff member quickly overcome. Overall I feel it's expensive, but compared with other tapas bars in London it's superior and probably a little cheaper than Brindisa etc.
Always enjoyable. We have taken many friends to Mar i Terra and everyone thinks it’s excellent.
One of our regulars. Reliable and good value as ever.
Great sleeper - a fun evening with delicious Tapas and wine that don't break the bank - highly recommended!
Fabulous food, wine and service. Real gem tucked away off beaten track.
Some of our food was delicious: Baby squid & Chorizo were stand outs. However some were ok/good: Chicken Croquettes (tasty but very small), patatas bravas (sauce was amazing but potatoes underdone). Restaurant itself is nice with the decor of an old pub. We had a few servers throughout the evening, all were very friendly however we did have to work to get their attention to order and to pay. Overall would definitely recommend for an authentic Spanish Tapas meal, I will be back to try more of the menu!
What a find !! this place is fantastic a small piece of Espanya in South London , the ambience, the staff, the absolutely gorgeous food and wine. We had a great time celebrating my Daughters Birthday,Thank you
Good tapas, not the cheapest but good value overall with tastecard
Delicious tapas served very quickly for pre-theatre meal. A nice atmosphere.
Lovely, family run restaurant with honest, flavourful food and friendly staff, nicely tucked away into a corner of London south of the river.
Food, service and ambiance truly excellent as always. A big thank you to the staff.
The food was really nice and the staff very kind. I recommend it!
