Food was good, staff attentive and engaging been there with friends had a great time. Only downs were poppadom with dip had smaller offerings compared to other Indian restaurants.
Excellent food and friendly staff. We went there on 2 consecutive nights as we loved it. Highly recommended if you are visiting near Canary Wharf.
Fantastic food gets quite busy so always book. We will be back . The food is different from the usual Indian restaurants, but seems much tastier . The choice is very good and had a great time tasting the various dishes
Awesome Food..Amazing view and Friendly Staff.. have visited twice so far and planning to visit again. Highly recommend the place to all..Thank you Manjal.. ..
Very authentic. We enjoed a very good service and very good food. Will be happe to come back if we return to London. Very nice experience...
We went there for lunch and I found the food very good and authentic tastes. The service was quite efficient and quick but quite pricy. Paid £17 for a curry dish and a naan bread.
Wonderful restaurant with extremely friendly staff. Food was excellent. The decor and ambience was quite good too. Would definitely recommend.
Every time I went, had awesome service and really good quality food. Definitely a must go and come back. Staff are knowledgeable about their food and where it comes from and their advice never fails!
The quandoo discount was not provided Food was authentic and good though It's very authentic aka spicy . So watch out for those little chilli symbols while ordering . They mean it !!
Manjal is our go to Indian Restuarant. Living in Greenwich this is the most authentic Indian restuarant for a few miles around. Most of the dishes are well done and the service is decent.
Amazing food - the best Indian curry I've had. The waiter was wonderful and very attentive and suggested most of our dishes after we'd gone through what we liked and disliked. He was spot on for every choice! Made us feel so welcome and even asked if we were there for a special reason. Beautiful venue on the dockside. An 11 out of 10. Couldn't fault it.
Excellent food and a great service. We had the vegetarian starters and two chicken curries. The staff was nice enough to keep our suitcase for a while. We will surely come again.
Lovely food, very tasty! Quick service even though one of the waiters seemed a little miserable but other than that it was great! Would definitely come back again!
Great service and food. The menu has recently been expanded and has a lot of new options. Would definitely be returning back soon to try some of the other new items.
Absolutely love this place. The food and the service are beyond compare. There are few places where the staff make you feel so welcome and then the food surpasses your expectations. First class
Staff were really welcoming and friendly. We pre-ordered our food and all of the orders were correct. The food was of good quality. Would recommend
Service was good. Place was busy on Monday lunch time. Complimentary Bottled water was a nice touch. Great pratha. Chilli paneer was very good! Will definitely return.
Amazing flavours, freshly prepared food and authentic dishes. Would highly recommend and will visit again next time I'm in the area. Friendly staff. value for money.
Me and my family went for my dads birthday. The staff were very attentive, the food was amazing and they even wrote a happy birthday on his dessert which was very pretty. Me and my partner come here quite frequently and it never fails to impress!
True Indian taste. Prawns Varuval and chicken Chettinad were the best. Butter chicken was too sweet. Will definitely visit again and again. Staff was very courteous.
Lovely food and a friendly, albeit slightly slow service, however we went on a Saturday night so it was understandable! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to try a different style of Indian dining.
great food, authentic Southern India style, warm and attentive service! naan was great, be aware that some of the dishes are quite spicy ie HOT! Overall excellent place, highly recommended!
Best place for Indian food, also the staff was good in suggesting the right order so that you will never end up in order more items
It was fine with taste but heavily priced.one of the ordered mutton item was overcooked and they were happy to get another fine one. Overall its fine and not excellent
Went on a Friday night and had pre-booked a table for a party of 6 so was nice to walk past the queue ... The restaurant was busy and full, a good sign. The food was lovely, we shared starters of chilli paneer, chicken 65 and potato tikki chat, all very nice. We selected a few curries to share, and the waiter was initially helpful with recommendations on how much to order for a group. All the food was very nice, however the service got very hectic due to the busy restaurant. This was fine for us as we were left to chat, but got a bit ridiculous as the night went on, with abrupt service of our mains and no smile from the waitress. After mains no-one had offered us a desert menu for 30 mins, so I asked for one, only to wait another 30 mins before asking again, this time from our initial waiter. When he returned with menus he gruffly gave us them saying rudely we had 5 mins to choose before the kitchen closed. I said that we had asked for a desert menu half an hour ago so was a bit unfair to suddenly expect us to choose, Only to be met with 'well I didn't know you'd asked'... was just a bit uncalled for and unprofessional as he should have taken responsibility for serving us properly in the first place rather than leaving us for an hour. Spoilt the evening a bit for me, though others didn't really notice. Some of us had dessert, gulab jamun and icecreams, which were nice but ice-cream choice was limited by then to chocolate. So all in all, the food was really very good, but the service let it down. I know it was a busy night, but having pre-booked, and being a Friday, you'd have thought the restaurant would be prepared. I'd go again on a less busy night though.
Lovely Food and really Good service but., they charge for water it's supposed to be free., Nice view from Restaurants and the Chilli Paneer was lovely
We went through on a Sunday evening and the service was quick, staff were pleasant, the food was very tasty and the location had a lovely view
Food was lovely, views were amazing, Staff were ok, Bar person that makes cocktails were unavailable so we were unable to order cocktails, greater customer service and the cocktail bar person would have enticed us to pay the service charge.
Excellent food, Excellent service. We had a party of 20 and the server was very attentive, efficient, and had a great attitude. The owner came out to make sure we were all well taken care of and expressed his gratitude for our patronage. I highly recommend this restaurant.
From the time you walk in you feel welcome and have attentive service. The food selection is great with an equal share of vegetarian and non vegetarian. The servings are a great size for the price and the food is tasty and high quality. It's an enjoyable experience and there is nothing that I could suggest they change. Lunch cost around £20 for poppadoms with dips as a starter and then a main course with rice, and a soft drink. I couldn't have eaten any more so feel it was good value for money. Tasty food and great service
Absolutely fab!great food Definitely would recommend. Superb! Not sure if they were busy but definitely Order drinks at the beginning otherwise takes a while when you're eating!
Been here twice. Food's ok, however I felt service was rather poor. If i'm desperate to have their food, I'd go. but thats not the case.
Good food, quick service, very courteous and customer friendly. Nice variety of Indian food and authentic Indian.would recommend to more people. Within walking distance ofCanary Wharf
We went to Manjal for dinner on a Friday night, it wasn't crowded which I liked. The food was good and authentic and quite spicy. Would definitely recommend chilly paneer! I was a bit annoyed with the way they try to sell you water which they put in glass bottles on the tables. I requested tap water and instead they still tried to offer me water from the bottles for £1 (which was from the tap). I'm not a cheapo, just don't like to be taken for a ride.
Amazing restaurant, lovely location, enjoying the river Thames view while eating my delicious and lively meal. Simply amazing... The staffs were very professional and friendly. I will definitely visit the place again in the future.

Excellent food (as ever), attentive service, and a very pleasant couple of bottles of wine. Very good value. I can't understand why this place isn't more popular (location?), but at least I can always get a table!
Very tasty food, quick service, excellent staff.. Lots of variety on the menu.. I would like to visit again and also refer people around canary wharf to this place...
Lovely meal, Indian with a difference, really tasted like home cooked Indian cuisine. Very impressed and will certainly go again and recommend to others. Great service although more expensive than your average Indian restaurant
Food and price is discern. The waiter was very polite. Food recommended by the waiter was nice. One of the few Indian restaurants in the area.
Brilliant Indian restaurant in the Canary Wharf area. Nice view of the canal, clean modern-looking layout, brilliant tasty food (much more sophisticated in presentation compared to usual Indian restaurants, the plates and cutlery and especially the glasses very appealing in design), excellent wine, conveniently priced. Service was excellent and the waiter Mark impressed us on the night with his good sense of humour and even knowing one or two words in our native language (Romanian)!
This is a great Indian restaurant. Excellent food and top service. Highly recommended. This is our monthly curry club venue. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends.
I discovered Manjal on a lunch time walk. We went there on a Friday and the food was great and the service was excellent. Recommend it.
Staff were polite and friendly! However dosa was cold but quickly replaced for a warm one with no fuss! The manager was very polite - walking around to ensure everything was ok.
Ambience, location and service was good however food was on the average side. We ordered mix grills and quantity was very little compared to the other "Indian Restaurants " we have visited. I guess the food was more to the taste of Canary Wharf people. Would recommend for trying out once.
Great service, great taste. Price was reasonable. People who like the food with reasonable price can visit this place, spend some time and enjoy the food.
Nice place, food was nice little bit hot. Staff could have waited less. But apart from that it was a perfect evening and would go again
Staff were so friendly and helpful. One person in our party had a number of food allergies, staff were so accommodating and even created a new dish to accommodate all the allergies! Definitely recommend! The food was delicious!
Six colleagues had an excellent lunchtime meal. Service was efficient and polite, food of good quality and reasonable portions, well spiced. I'd have preferred a more generous portion of green salad with the papads. And there is no lunchtime special offer. But minor quibbles, will go again.
In this Restaurant You can spend the whole night with nice drinks
