Sam and all the chaps at Manjal treated us very well. They knew we were short on time and kept all wait down to a minimum. The food was really nice - tasty - and served efficiently and in a very friendly manner. Couldn't have been happier!
One of the best aces around Canary wharf for authentic Indian food
absolutely dreadful, service was atrocious, my order was wrong twice, i will never go there again
Great Food, Nice Location and Friendly Staff. One stop for Authentic Indian dishes . Will visit again. Thanks
We where one of 5 tables when we arrived and staff where very slow, finally got a drink, should have ordered more as they never came back tonask if we wanted another. Ordered 2 curry’s 1 each and only one arrived, had to ask for other curry which they then went and cooked. my dish that was ment to be mild was hotter than my partners and that was a extra hot curry, could not eat mine so Did ask why mine was so hot and got told that’s what Indian is, nonoffer to replace or refund. Would not recommend this place
Very nice restaurant with helpful staff. They guided our culinary experience. When they say that a dish is spicy, they should be taken seriously :)
Excellent service, birthday cake given for free, nice touch x
This restaurant turned us away on valentine's day due to us bringing our 6month old baby. Shocking unremorseful behaviour. Went to Mala Indian restaurant and was welcomed with open srms.
Half of the Veg starter items were unavailable. otherwise the service was great
Wonderful, delicious, perfect. Traveling for work and staying in Canary Wharf. Was craving Indian food and the menu looked great. Had Aloo Gobi with rice and garlic naan and masala tea. I’ll be back during my visit.
Food and service were very good. Booking through Quandoo was not picked up so we didn't have a table reserved and had to show the proof of booking to get one.
Horrible service. Never will turn up again to this branch. To much attitude among the employees shown. Was lot better with previous team. Then you
Tried Manjal for the first time and was impressed. Nice combination of traditional Indian favourites but also some interesting new dishes and styles of cooking. The location by the dock is pleasant and would be even nicer in the summer months. Portion sizes were fine in my opinion and as things Ike the water were free of charge it didn’t make for an expensive evening. For anyone in Canary Wharf or the isle of Dogs looking for an Indian with a difference I would recommend trying Manjal.
Once again food and service were brilliant. let's hope you guys will keep up the same standard for 2019. Not sure if the chef is different but the devil's chops where hotter than usual, was gasping for air :) Keep up the good work guys!
Excellent food and service. Cuisine is south Indian and we particularly enjoyed the sharing starter with fish chicken and lamb in it.Can highly recommend the southern railway curry...absolutely delicious
Very average , and expensive for what it was, no atmosphere , just dull. would not go their again. We are part of Biggin Hills Curry club, and the Manjal dose not make it on our list of to visit restaurants.
Great food. Lovely setting. The service was a bit muddled but the place was busy. Good value for money and a recommended eatery. I would definately revisit
Great food and very friendly staff, all of the people within our party enjoyed the atmosphere the location is ideal for the DLR. We will make sure we visit there again.
Food is quite good, We especially liked vegetarian food, The breads and curries are quite close to India taste and one of the best indian joints in the area.
Nice place.. Less spicy food although can be customized if asked for. Warm ambiance. Would surely go sometime sooner again over here. Good for small events
Really nice restaurant, food great and service very good. Food portions very good, only complaint the food was little on the spicy side which some of our party found a little too hot too handle. However we would certainly eat at the Manjal again.
Had a simple lunch daal and naan followed by desserts. Liked it very much and definitely coming back soon for more, with a larger group.
The staff were very warm, welcoming and polite. The service was great! The restaurant also offered a rich selection of dishes on the menu. Our visit was a very delightful experience.
The restaurant wasn't busy but it took ages to be served. The food however is very good and the setting is lovely. Quite expensive but better quality than others ive been to
Very tasty food and good drink selection. Fast service. Would go back.
One of the best and most authentic Indian food in London
Excellent choice of food on the menu. Our waiter was attentive and helpful as some of the dishes available were new to us and he gave a good description of what to expect. The food was amazing - definitely worth checking out some new dishes. Good atmosphere - al in all a really good evening. Thanks.
Good is excellent and that is given. The service and the overall experience is fantastic too. I am making this my new favourite Indian restaurant in London.
Go Again ! Right location with good food, though price bracket at a bit higher side. Worth trying once, quite authentic taste. Can go once agian
Lovely Indian food with authentic flavor :) good service as we had warm welcome though reached the restaurant few mins late. Definitely a must place to visit.
Another excellent experience. Food and service was outstanding. It was good to see that the previous issue with the service has improved. Once again, many thanks and keep up the good work.
The food quality is brilliant, however, this time the service was stretched this time... Only one starter was delivered out of two and no water refills provided during the meal. Let's hope this will improve.
Good quality food and great service, many thanks guys. keep up the good work!
good north indian food. we had tiranga chicken and liked it a lot.
This restaurant was a little further away from the river than we thought, but beautiful food, friendly atmosphere great service! Would definitely recommend to friends!
Good food. We went to this restaurant for the first time as I was craving for Indian aloo tikki :) We ordered Potato tikki chat, mushroom manchurian and chilli paneer in the starters and pista kulfi in desert. Food is good and the staff is polite as well.
Been here for the fourth time. Food quality is good. Overall good service provided in all aspects. Different varieties of starters and Nan's. This is truly a very good restaurant.
Just had starters and some beers - was really nice.... Perfect place as near Canary Wharf with a good choice of dishes for anyone present.
North India Food is quite food in the restaurant. we ordered chicken bhuna which was quite good. South India food is kerela style so may not be everyone's cup of tea.
Excellent food and usual great service. Food is always consistent and authentically delicious. Have never disappoint. My guests, visiting from Asia could not agree more.
It was great ambience , friendly staff and nice food. Few of the starters were of frozen food but overall a great time spent. Thanks
Southern Indian Fantastic food. Full of flavour, generous portion sizes. Large selection of drinks. Very attentive staff, lovely location. Will be returning again very soon.
Excellent service and good food. Relaxing atmoshere. Visites with a Group of six people. Good explanation of the menu. We would love to come back again.
Good service and great food. Except, One of the dishes that we were looking forward to was not available, which was disappointing. Also one of the cocktails was not as it should have been. The waitress was very apologetic when we Told her at the end of the meal. Will definitely return
Verry good food and friendly people, clean and good service, we will go back, that is for sure. I recomand to everybody this good restaurant!!!
The best Indian meal I have had in a long time, excellent food, excellent service, can highly recommend! The menu is not like your usual choice, it has the traditional Bhuna, Korma etc but a huge selection of other tasty dishes I had never heard of.
When we decide to dine in the Canary Wharf area and if we chose Indian food, our obvious choice is the Manjal restaurant. I was there with my friend on April 20th and it was a great experience as usual. The food was authentic and amazing as usual. We opted for lamb kothu roti, kerala parata, and chicken chettinad with taste of india (which is a mix of indian desserts like gulab jamun, halwa, etc.) along with kulfi. The staff are friendly and the hotel surroundings (and the water-side view) are nice too. Their enormous choice of south and north Indian food makes it an ideal choice for any time of food-lover. So far, we have never been disappointed and I hope and wish that the restaurant keep up its good work and maintain the high standard in the coming days too.
It was my first visit to Manjal & I went there with my colleague on a sunny Friday afternoon. The food was great with sumptuous large portions , the ambience was excellent & the staff were very friendly & professional. Awesome experience overall .
We ordered the ghee dosa, mango lassi, and paneer appetiser dish. Mojitos for drinks. The food Is really delicious here and the service is great!
All went really well. Food was great, maybe bit too hot. As it was quite crowdy took some time to get a bill. But other then that all good, will come again.
