The meat was good quality but served lukewarm which was disappointing; the sides were small for the price and the chips were over cooked and also served lukewarm. Service was good. Overall so-so experience

Overpriced,not a great atmosphere,Saturday night I expected to be fully packed with people’s,the service was ok,food the lamb steak was a bit chewy, I don’t think I will go back again.

Great experience! We went to Macellaio for our first year wedding anniversary, and were not disappointed! We were welcomed with a complimentary glass of champagne. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and the restaurant very comfortable, well decorated and not too noisy. On top of that, the food was amazing: we had a 800 grams freshly cut costata (prime rib) cooked to perfection! delicious. Highly recommend.

I have visited another Macellaio branch before and I was a bit disappointed with my experience at Union Street. Given the final bill, I would expect the meat not to be chewy, the service to be a bit more attentive and the wine not to have residue in the glass. I doubt I'll return.

It was my first visit but I booked immediately after for this Sunday!!!! That's how much I loved it

Gentilissimi i camerieri, ottima scelta la carne, le patate al forno malissimo(credo fossero riscaldate al Microonde) comunque pessime, le ho lasciate tutte ; ottimo il biancomangiare al basilico

Very tasty Italian menu, especially the pissa. The waiter was lovely and I really appreciated it when he came out with chocolate cake and a candle as my partner mentioned it was my birthday, very thoughtful! Great atmosphere, highly recommended for a nice authentic Italian meal.

Amazing Atmosphere, high quality of food and the staff is very professional.

My husband and son loved their steak! It was cooked to perfection. I had pasta which if I ate it slowly lasted as long as their steak as it was such a tiny portion. We were a little more impressed than our last visit when the wine glass had been served to me with a chip in it and they just poured the wine out of that glass into another. As we had seen them do this they seemed shocked when I asked them for a fresh glass with fresh wine. I don't think I would have been very happy had I found glass shards in my glass which didn't happen fortunately!

Carne buona ma quantità veramente scarse. Il servizio è veramente da migliorare. Personale giovane e non preparato ma soprattutto lento e non attento. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere le cose più volte e comunque non le hanno portate. Il pane no comment: 5 fettine per 5 persone. La pissa la eviterei se fossi in voi. Sicuramente si può fare meglio!!!

Ottima qualità del cibo. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto positivo. Unica pecca: la porta del locale si apre subito sulla sala al piano terra e il freddo crea ad alcuni tavoli qualche disagio. Avevo già cenato in questo locale e mi ero trovato bene. Ho avuto una conferma molto positiva.

Food is excellent - these guys really know meat. Unfortunately the service was a bit slow and they had no beer. None at all. Which wasn't great.

Went here for my wife's birthday and the service was exceptional. We will definitely be coming back - with a larger group!
