Friendly and helpful staff. Service was excellent and this was during a very busy lunchtime. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good too. Would definitely return.
We often visit when we are going to the theatre so the restaurant ensure our meals are served in good time to make the show.
Excellent food, attentive waitresses and good vibe. Was a bit noisy as it was full. Only one issue was we had to wait as one dish was delayed - but they did communicate this to us. But all in all excellent!
Food was very good. Delicious and well presented. Will go again.
There were different levels of capability among the serving staff, but the food was well prepared and tasty. For London it was good value.
Enjoyed coming back again to L'ulivo (Recently I've seen two other L'ulivos nearby but have only ever been to the Villiers Street restaurant). Food and service excellent and staff very helpful and friendly. The calamari in the seafood pasta was exceptionally good - so tender. L'ulivos is now one of the restaurants that I like taking visitors to.
Really good authentic Italian food. Thank you L’Ulvio, once again!
Our table was ready for us but service slow. We found it very noisy
Great atmosphere and great food - certainly a venue to return to!
We did enjoy our meal. The service was very good.
Our saturday afternoon was great. We did have a great lunch also the service was very good.
L'ulivo is a very good restaurant. The food is very good as also the srvice is with a smile!!
Obviously not many customers given current circumstances but well looked after.
Not my first visit. I really like this restaurant and it is in a handy position for my theatre trips. The reason I marked the food down was that I found it too salty. My meal had capers in so that might be why. Portion sizes are good and I particularly liked the size of the vegetable portions. Many restaurants are mean with vegetables which are the cheapest part of the meal for them to buy. They must make a fortune on them!
This was my second visit and both times were pleasant experiences and delicious food.
As always, lovely food and prompt service. It was a girlie catch up dinner but despite being busy we were not rushed. It is my go to restaurant and it has never failed me.
Amazing food and we always go here as it feels like a little piece of Italy in central London
Lovely food, slightly different from the usual, staff really nice, a very pleasant evening.
Always lovely food and good service. Good location, too. Thanks.
Booked but got in earlier after lower ground floor made available. Need to have Worcester sauce for the tomato juice next time but excellent service in an always lively restaurant :-)
Good food pleasant staff reasonable prices. Hope to visit again
The service is always amazing. Staff work very hard and are very pleasant. My only grumble on this Vicky was the bruschetta was very dry and the tomatoes were not ripe. The rest of our meal was, as always, tasty and plentiful.
Really good, we went for the specials menu and had the veal it was spectacular. The staff were friendly and efficient, they looked after us very well, nothing seemed to much trouble.
Second time of visiting here whilst taking in a show at the nearby Adelphi. Food absolutely gorgeous (so far we have tried the tortellini with gorgonzola sauce, margherita pizza, chicken/leek risotto and meat lasagne), atmosphere great and service spot on - ideal for a relaxing evening, or for getting to your show on time! The noise level is not quiet, it's a lovely bubbly atmosphere. Not a problem for us, but something to consider depending on your occasion. We'll seek out this restaurant on future visits to London.
We visited atlunch time so was quite quiet and service prompt. Food was good. More vege choices always weclome
we really enjoyed our visit to this lovely restaurant as we were left to chat in a quiet corner for hours with our delicious duck salad. The waitresses were delightful and we shall go again.
Food came quickly. Tables too close together. Staff attentive. Friendly
Regular restaurant in convenient location beside Charing Cross Station to meet friends coming into London from Sussex. Friendly relaxed atmosphere and great Italian food.
Great service, food and ambiance! Convenient location close to Embankment!
Friendly staff and quick service. Good menu choice. We wanted to share a variety of starters between five and they were very helpful about this.
I had requested a quiet table away from the middle of the restaurant - and that's just what we got. The food was great, the service good - just a small delay when waiting for our bill - and we wouldn't hesitate to return and recommend.
Even though we did not order a starter, & the restaurant was quite busy, the main course was served very quickly. Very nice waitress. Very tasty food. There was some food left over which I requested to be boxed up & was saved for when we returned after a visit to the theatre. Impressed.
Service was very good Good excellent way Would highly recommend
Great food and great service for pre theatre dinner - thank you !
Perfect for value for money meal before going to the theatre
Good food and very attentive service. Great for ore theater dinner.
Very good food, even if there are a lot of calories in it :)
Great food. Reservation was a must as the restaurant was crowded. All of us enjoyed our food--and portions were more than generous. I would recommend this restaurant to others.

Excellent food, low waiting times, a bit noisy and expensive but worth it.

a quick pre-theatre meal, good food reasonably priced. Would recommend
Quick and friendly service, great food and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend it.
Perfect for dinner before the theatre. Service was friendly and quick. Enjoyed the food.
Reserved a table for pre theatre meal but was presented with al la carte and had to ask for the pre theatre menu. Service was very rushed and not at all friendlyl. Nobody checked if meal was ok(it was delicious) and didn't feel it was a relaxed and enjoyable visit.
This was my second time visiting this lovely restaurant which is situated close to charring cross station. I was not disappointed. The food is modern Mediterranean and delicious. The service was quick and the staff were attentive and delightful. I highly recommend booking in advance, especially if you’re planning on eating pre-theatre, as we were seated at 5:30pm and by 6pm the restaurant was very busy. Overall I really enjoyed eating at this restaurant.
Delicious food + very quickly got drinks and food after order. Staff very nice but had to ask for bill a few times.
Excellent meal. The pre-theatre menu was very good but was not offered and I had to ask for it.
