Luciano's Ristorante

Far to noisy! Service & food was OK -but nothing to rave about. Had requested a little cake +1 candle -as it was my partners birthday-it did not appear! When I got the bill-to pay by credit card-the waiter said " don,t forget the tip" Never heard that before-so deliberately did not leave one. Shame-now the place has become popular-it is a bit riff raffy-so avoid it if you want to enjoy a special occasion.

Friendly service but sitting next to the kitchen was unpleasant as it was stuffy and echoed, could barely hear ourselves talk as the table next to us were very noisy.

Having lived in Monaco and NIce where Italian restaurants abound, I can truly say the food here is the best I have tasted! Moreover the waiters offer friendly and efficient service. Thank you!

Have been to Luciano's several times now and I really cant fault it. The food is always top quality and all the staff are well trained, polite and helpful. There is always a great authentic Italian atmosphere. Only problem is you really do need to book in advance, because it can get very busy!

We had a lovely evening at Luciano's, busy, great atmosphere with friendly, helpful service.Plenty to choose from the menu and the food is delicious and typically Italian.We are fortunate to live within walking distance of this restaurant.

It was as good as always, perhaps a bit crowded and noisy if you wanted a quiet supper but otherwise absolutely fine. Perhaps make the portions a bit smaller.

The food and wine were absolutely brilliant - my companion risked a steak and it was really perfect. We stated with a pizza to split -- I am among the many who rate the piazza as best south of the river. Enzo is a great host and the service impeccable -- neighbourhood Neapolitan at its best.

It was a lively friendly atmosphere and a great place to dine with friends or a partner. I was disappointed with main dish as the risotto was very watery and tasteless and my sea bass was burnt. The waiter kindly offered me an alternative but I was not hungry by that point and had a complimentary wine instead. Staff were helpful and attentive and my starter of garlic prawns was delicious!!! Hopefully they took on board my feedback!!

Great food, we had trouble deciding what to have with too many items being tempting. What we ordered did not disappoint. Service was good but not exceptional.

My friend and I were well served and our lunch was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.The restaurant was warm and inviting. One point was lost...a little severe...because there were no welcoming nibbles ( olives and bread )on the table. I will recommend this restaurant to others.

Luciano's in Lee - what a great restaurant! Friendly service from informed staff, reasonably priced wines and delicious food. This restaurant is always busy - book well in advance!

Have been to this restaurant several times since it opened up and have always been very happy with the quality of the food and the welcome from the staff. Today was no exception and when I told the "boss" that it was my husband's birthday the staff could not have been more attentive. A wonderful experience and I highly recommend it. M.Bick, Lee SE12

Visited Lucianos for the first time last Wednesday. It was really busy with a great atmosphere. Food was excellent, staff really friendly and helpful. Really liked the wood fired pizzas being freshly prepared. Will aim to return soon and try the Lucianos bar next door.

Delicious food, good house wine, pleasant reception and service. Enjoyable evening for a birthday and early opening hours good for juniors members of the group.

The restaurant was well lit , warm and welcoming the service was good without being fussy and the food was excellent. It was the best meal out I have had for some time

The overall ambience is great, along with the friendliness of the staff & the service The food was of a good quality, however I was a little unfortunate with my steak which was rather on the fatty side, so quite disappointing. Would still go back to eat again though : )
