Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Excellent food. A good test was that when in the Ladies toilet, I noticed a lack of toilet tissue. It was dealt with immediately.

Food bland. Service poor. Starters arrived 20minutes apart. Twice offered mains before my starter arrived. Main course poor, burnt tomatoes. Prices have gone up but standards have drastically dropped. Even typing error on new menu.......if they can't get the small things right.........

We went as a family of 4 adults and one child. I personally thought it was too expensive although the atmosphere and food were good. We had a total bill of over £140 which included a bottle of wine. To be honest I’m sure whether I would go again.

Excellent service and excellent food (as usual) very very friendly atmosphere. Fillet steak was perfect, medium rare, and so tender. We have never been disappointed, and have now booked for a family Christmas dinner there. Shawna and her team really do work their magic.

I went to L'Olivetto with my husband & son for the first time yesterday & we all really enjoyed our meal. Between us we shared the starter of garlic bread with mozzarella cheese that was freshly baked & piping hot followed by lasagne or carbonara with chicken, side salad & homemade chunky chips. The staff were very friendly & everything was delicious,we will definitely be returning soon. Thank you for a lovely evening

As always great food. Just a bit slow on service ( which is not the norm). All of us had 5 meals which were cooked really well & delivered hot.

We are regular visitors and always enjoy. The food, drinks and service are excellent. This is by far the best Italian restaurant we have visited and the fact it is on our doorstep gives us an excuse to visit as often as we can.

We had the tapas menu and it was delicious. Three dishes each for £13 .Plenty of variety and choice. Great food and great service x

Service was good as was the food, but ambiance in rear dining room spoiled by the excessive noise of the loud hand dryers in the toilets which were audible upon each visit. An extra door might help make for a more pleasant experience.

The meals were lovely as ever. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We didn’t feel rushed at any stage of the evening. They played a great part of a special day for us.

The restaurant was very warm and welcoming with very clean toilets. The lady who served us was very attentive when required and answered all of our requests without hesitation. We chose the food from the Christmas menu which had an excellent selection and we weren't disappointed by the quality or quantity. As it was a Wednesday we even got a bottle of wine at half price. We will definitely be going back in the near future.

Wonderful! The service from the warm, friendly staff is outstanding, with our two ten year olds thoroughly enjoying creating their own pizzas from the bases and toppings provided . The prices are great, particularly the children’s menus. The quality of the food is impressive, too. We will definitely be returning, as this has to be one of my favourite restaurants in Liverpool.
