excellent restaurant. Second time I have been the food, service and wine choices were excellent.i had mussels and my brother and girlfriend prawns as a starter they were delicious. I had steak, they had pasta and chicken. to finish we had tirimisu, sorbet and lemon meringue pie. The wines equally good. highly recommended and would go again.

Myself and four friends really enjoyed our meal at Linguine, the food was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It wasn't too busy but a good atmosphere.

We had a fabulous evening, very well looked after and they even made me something that wasn't on the menu that evening but usually is. The wine choice was excellent as well We love linguine !

Excellent service, waiter and watress very hospitable - food excellent and also service. Even though what i wanted was not on the updated menu (i was looking at the old menu) they still cooked my favourite meal. Very enjoyable evening.

I looked for the best rated Italian restaurant I could find within a twenty minute drive. Linguini didn't disappoint in any way... my wife and I had excellent sirloin steaks with king prawns and garlic sauce... medium rare, cooked to perfection.

The food was a typical Italian menu of good standard. As a small restaurant, the atmosphere was relaxed and service with attentive. Overall, a good experience.

Lovely food and welcoming staff but a bit chaotic. We really enjoyed this restaurant previously however whilst the food was still very good the menu has changed and has regressed in my opinion. No more crab linguine or seafood ravioli.

We visit Linguine's on a very regular basis. We have never had a bad meal or experience. The staff are excellent and always make you feel that you are their "favourite" customer

Love this restaurant, best in Sale. They even made my husbands favourite ravioli dish despite it no longer being on the menu. The staff were very attentive despite the fact it was an incredibly busy night. Advise to book ahead to eat out here!

Excellent food and service. Staff were very friendly and attentive. It was very busy but our food was served quickly and lovely presentation. We were a party of 3 and will definitely return.

Booked a table for Sunday lunch. No one else in the restaurant . Waiter didn't know the menu or what a medium white wine was. They wouldn't do a child's portion of lasagne so we had to get our 8 year old, a full portion, which was too much and very bland as well! Overall, the food was ok, but considering it was a special occasion for our anniversary, it was a pretty unmemorable experience. We won't be returning.

Restaurant was busy for 18:00hrs, nice atmosphere with plenty of family groups. I had the carbonara pasta, which was a good quality meal with good service.

Went for dinner on saturday night. would recommend to book as the restaurant is small and gets busy. we had Filet steaks for main which were exceptional. Definitely the best I've had at a restaurant.

Fab food Fab atmosphere but the tables a bit too close together to the point that you could hear other people's conversations. Would definitely visit again.

Very bright and inviting; lovely food and attentive staff. A thoroughly enjoyable experience in a leafy lane, just on the fringe of Sale town centre. A must for any foodie!

We really love this restaurant. The food is wonderful and it has a personal friendly feeling that you don't find in many places these days. This time I had these amazing polenta fritas and garlicky dip to start with. Just so delicious and herby. If you book on line we would recommend double checking your reservation by phone, as its popularity means it could be oversubscribed at busy times. Truly it is well worth treating yourselves and cracking open a bottle of Prosecco!:))

Excellent food, in my opinion the best Italian in Manchester. My only gripe was the table placement near the door, this seating was cold and cramped.

Excellent meal on our first visit to Linguine's helped to mark our sons 18th birthday celebrations. Good friendly service and excellent food, we will return.

Four people for dinner 6-8pm. Had a great time, very nice service, lovely food and reasonably priced. Obviously we will return in the near future I hope.

I book Linguine's for last Sat night as I had been there before with a friend about six months ago and had a nice meal and the food was great. I took my family this time , two adults and two children ( teenagers ) . We booked as its normally really busy but this Sat it was really quiet . We were given a table that was near the bar area so I asked could we taken another table as it wasn't a great place people walking past all the time . They then went to put us on the table right next to the door when there was a table closer to the window and away from the door so I did ask could we have this one and they were happy to give it to us so that was fine . We then waited for someone to come and take our drinks order for about 10 mins. both my children only drink water so I asked for a jug of water and had to wait over 15 mins to get it and asked four times . In the end I had to get the managers attention to ask for the water. I could understand if it was a cocktail and they were really busy ! When the food finally came it was ok the starter was nice - ribs and garlic bread. Both children had Pizza which was ok but wouldn't rush back for one if im honest I have had better from the supermarket so was disappointed. We had a chicken salad and had to ask for the dressing which seemed to be missing which they did bring in the end. The service was slow and the food was ok but nothing great and wouldn't rush back which is a shame as the last time I went it was lovely . When we paid the bill the lady came over with a bottle of wine and apologies for the service and the delays which was nice of her but didn't change the fact that the over all experience was poor. I think they must have had new staff or new owner not sure but wouldn't rush to go back at this stage .

We booked for new year, myself partner and 4 year old daughter, first of all the food was very good and presented very well. But not all of the menu was on and the children menu was very limited, you would of thought with it being new year you would be prepared. Staff didn't really listen to concerns and did't address anything, the place was obviously overbooked and people were being asked to move table to accommodate other people, i noted one couple moved twice. we felt like were being rushed to get out, which wasn't a nice end to out new year tea out. they also got the bill completely wrong.

Lovely food as always and brilliant service from staff - would recommend for any and all occasions. Will definitely be going back again very soon.

We are regular visitors to Linguine. We love it !! The food is excellent and the service is warm and friendly. The only suggested improvement would be to update the dessert menu - they are lovely but the same choices have been on there for a while now.

Unfortunately there was a number of large parties so we were given two round tables for four people squashed in. Also very noisy. Food and service good and that's what really matters.

Tremendous night, fab food, service , great value for money . Will definitely be going again ! Amazing choice of menu . Cannot fault anything .

Excellent service and food never had a bad meal here . Would recommend this restaurant to friends and family very busy on a Friday and Saturday if you want more ambience go on a Sunday or a week night
