It was a treat for my mums birthday, she absolutely loved her lemon sole, l had salmon which was delicious, my husband and dad had a steak of which my dad's was on the tough side. This was quickly changed for him for a different cut of steak which he thoroughly enjoyed. Many,many thanks for the lovely service and helping to make mum's birthday a lovely one.

We were welcomed warmly, when we arrived at the restaurant and shown to our seats. The service and food was excellent. My company commented ‘When I go to an Italian restaurant that is exactly how I want my food to taste! What a lovely restaurant!’

Stayed in Abingdon last month and looked forward to trying an authentic Italian restaurant. Unfortunately it was closed for holidays. Came back to the Cotswolds and was staying near so returned to experience. It was well worth the trouble. Real Italian food, great service and an all round lovely evening. We will return on next trip to try the other dishes on this amazing menu.

Limoncello is a lovely, authentic, family-run Italian restaurant which was established 17 years ago. We enjoyed the beautiful murals on the walls and the style reminded me of a visit I made to an Italian restaurant near Milan when I was a child. The food was typically Italian and the service was good.

The food was delicious, beautifully presented, a very warm atmosphere in the restaurant and staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend and I'll be booking again.

We were seated straight away, no waiting and were given a menu and wine list. The table was for two people and we had plenty of room. Our order was taken quickly and arrived quickly. My seafood pasta was full of muscles, king prawns and the like and I was very pleased with the amount given. Pleased with the restaurant and gave a tip. x

A very lovely restaurant. Bread and pasta are very good.

As always the best possible dining experience, the service was excellent, the food was delicious and the relaxed atmosphere made the usual great experience. Plus a delicious lemon cheesecake for dessert what’s not to love.

We visited at a quiet time of the wek and enjoyed our visit very much.

Really appreciated having water and bread on the table - so you didn't have to ask for them. They were included. Similarly, the vegetables were great and were also included. So no sneaky tricks or surprises on the menu. Really enjoyed the carafe of house red.

The restaurant was very busy, but we weren't kept waiting, drinks, food all arrived perfect, staff are excellent and there was a great atmosphere amongst all the diners..
