Lemongrass - Chichester

We arrived at 9.20 pm on a Sat eve orders were taken at 9.40 and our main course arrived minutes after our starters were finished. It felt rushed and we weren't wrong come 10.20 we are being told if we want a desert or another drink we have to order by 10.30 as bar & kitchen closed! It's possibly the fastest meal bar Macdonalds and certainly the Fastest spent £200. This was to be a social occasion not fast food very disappointing. And there are other more relaxed places to eat Thai food in the area I live so won't be back.

The food is delicious and is served very quickly by the most lovely, helpful staff. The price is very reasonable and they add only 10% service charge to the bill. We were very full as couldn't stop eating it even after we'd had enough!

Very good food, but on the expensive side. Service was fantastic, but in a way they try so hard that it almost feels like an act. But would go back for a special occasion.

The Lemon Grass Thai Restaurant is always a treat to visit, and we do so whenever we have a hankering for this cuisine. It has everything you want in a restaurant experience. The place itself is bright, clean and nicely decorated, the service is superb and traditional; you always get a respectful Thai greeting and most importantly the food is incredible. Having travelled extensively with my family throughout the Far East this food is up to the standard you would expect. Can't wait for our next visit.

We booked this restaurant on a recent visit to Chichester and were not disappointed. The food was very good quality beautifully presented and reasonably priced. The services was excellent we can't recommend it highly enough.

Food overall was good. However, chicken served in starter dish was not properly cooked and still translucent and I had to point this out and return the chicken for replacement. The restaurant decor and staff pleasant but lacked any ambiance as there were no other people dining!

Wonderful as always ! Had the set menu did two and turned out great value for money and an opportunity to try new flavours. The mango sorbet was to die for ! We'll be back soon

Excellent service and food, staff were great, restaurant well kept and tidy. Very enjoyable evening and a wonderful feast of the tastes of the east

We really enjoyed our food. It was an interesting menu, delightfully presented and tasty. The only drawback to the experience was the noise. We were in the back section of the restaurant and our party of six had difficulty hearing anyone not sitting next to them because the acoustics were poor. However, the staff were all very polite, patient and unobtrusive. I would recommend to others.

We have visited this restaurant several times and we have always had wonderful food and great service from the staff. We would highly recommend it to anyone, however we would prefer to leave a tip at our discretion and not have a service charge automatically added to the bill.

I went to Lemongrass for my birthday. I have been before and also have lived in Thailand it brings back wonderful memories of the lovely Thai food and amazing Thai people. First class food and service as always - thank you

Food was amazing. Would recommend ! The staff are friendly and helpfully. So good we even purchased vouchers to share our experience with the mother in law.

Easy to book on line. Greeted with a smile. Mixed Starter had good portions and side orders generous. Good food, service and ambience.. Great value for money. Good clean toilets.

Would have been 6 but we were near the street window. The ambience is much nicer further back in the Chichester Restaurant where the roof window makes it lighter and nicer.

Fabulous staff, coupled with fabulous food! At the end of our meal, my wife announced that my birthday was imminent. They asked us to wait a moment and returned with a lovely desert, with a lit candle in it and sang Happy Birthday to me. Very touching in its spontaneity and of course, massively appreciated.

Great food, great service and great surroundings. You can't go wrong. I've been there quite a few times now, and it's always been really enjoyable.

Great food and lovely friendly people. Even though it was a busy Friday evening the service was fast and efficient. certainly one of the best Thai restaurants around.

The food is only beaten by the exceptional customer service. From the moment you walk in to the second you leave, they make you feel valued and welcome. My wife and I spent our 1 year anniversary there and couldn't of been happier.

We had a great meal. We shared a Lemongrass Starter Platter and then opted for a curry each, with Pak Choi on the side. Didn't try any wine, so can't comment on this. The staff were very attentive and pleasant.

Absolutely beautiful tasty food, plenty of it, wonderful helpful staff. Just a bit noisy (we went on a Monday evening too) and echoes so not good with a hearing deficit. Definitely recommend this as long as you can cope with noise. I think there is a quieter corner at the front

Food was pretty good but not amazing. Service was excellent and attentive. Felt a couple of the waitresses were surely. Very nice I rushed atmosphere. Will go again for sure.

Lovely restaurants, great décor, the waiting staff were very nice and well dressed. Food was very tasty and hot temperature wise. The only problem we found was being a Saturday night it was a bit noisier than we like and we were sat next to a large table celebrating a birthday. That said I would recommend it.

Always very good food and friendly efficient service, in an ideal location close to several car parks. The restaurant is normally very busy lunch time and dinner so best to reserve a table.

Food at Lemongrass is absolutely excellent. Cannot fault it. Staff very polite (all Asian, to be expected). We've been to other Lemongrass restaurants, and the one at Chichester was nice, the location generally good as it was within the old part of town. We had a window seat but the entire view outside was just of a large Kwik fit. So we sat and watched cars up on ramps being repaired as we ate. Would still eat there again as love the food.

Very pleasant evening. Staff exceedingly polite and accommodating. Quality of food very good - some great flavours. Varied menu with a good choice to suit all (Thai) tastes. Good value too. Will definitely return.

Service was wonderful. Food was incredible. As a vegetarian, always worry there won't be many options or choices. My partner and I went for the Set veggie menu and it was amazing. Some of the best food I have ever had. Amazing Thai food with plenty of variety and flavour.

Fantastic. Very polite and smiling servers. Definitely one of our favourite Chichester restaurants. On our last visit the prawn crackers hadn't arrived when the starters did but the starters were taken away and returned later with no fuss. All good.

We absolutely love this restaurant. You never get bad food or bad service. Weekends are busy so it's best to book so you're not disappointed
